Donna E. Clark of Roscoe, a longtime resident of Jeffersonville, died Wednesday, November 1, 2000, at the Wilson Memorial Hospital in Johnson City. She was 51 years of age.

Retired Secy.
Anne C. Stoll, a 43-year resident of Liberty and a retired secretary for Applebaum & Eisenberg in Liberty, died at her home on Tuesday, October 31, 2000.
The daughter of the late William and Frances Frey Stoll, she was born in Brooklyn.
Ms. Stoll was a member of St. Peter's Church in Liberty.
She is survived by a niece, Mildred Eckert of Morganville, N.J.; three cousins, Adele Gray and Nina Coy, both of Naples, Fla., and Susan Hurt of Cadiz, Kty.; and several special friends, including Bernard and Mae Goldman of Liberty and their families. She was predeceased by a brother, William Stoll Jr.
Friends may call at the Ramsay's Funeral Home, 275 S. Main St., Liberty, on Friday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at St. Peter's Church, 264 N. Main St., Liberty, on Saturday at 10 a.m. with Monsignor Edward Straub officiating.
Burial will be made in St. Peter's Cemetery in Liberty.

Regina K. Baker
Ret. from Horton, 67
Regina K. Baker of Middletown, a retired employee of Horton Medical Center and a lifelong area resident, died Wednesday, November 1, 2000, at her home. She was 67 years of age.
The daughter of the late Wilbur and Edna Miller, she was born December 25, 1932, in Middletown. She was the widow of James E. Baker Sr.
Mrs. Baker was a member of St. Joseph's Church in Middletown and the Auxiliary of the Marine Corps League.
She is survived by three sons and daughters-in-law, James E. Jr. and Pamela and Mike and Roseanne Baker, all of Bloomingburg, and Keith and Melanie Baker of Middletown; four daughters and two sons-in-law, Susan and Robert Sherman, Tammy and Ray Smith, and Brenda Johnston, all of Middletown, and Karen Erickson of Otisville; a sister, Edna Carbone of Harpursville; a brother, John Miller of Middletown; 11 grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a brother, Vernon Miller.
Services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at the Ralston-Lippincott-Hasbrouck-Ingrassia Funeral Home in Middletown.
Burial will be made in the Wallkill Cemetery in Phillipsburg.

Kenneth Corbin
Bus Driver, 78
Kenneth Corbin of Ulster died Thursday, August 16, 2007 at Saint Vincent's Hospital, Manhattan. He was 78.
Prior to living in the Town of Ulster, he lived in Astoria, Kingston, and Aloha Acres, New Paltz.
Mr. Corbin was born January 7, 1929 in Brooklyn. He was employed as a bus driver at Adirondack Trailways, Kingston, and drove for the New Paltz Central School District. He also worked as a corporate limousine driver in Manhattan. He trained and raced standardbred race horses at Monticello and Yonkers racetracks.
Surviving are his wife, Wilhelmina Wiegert Corbin; a son, Kenneth Corbin Jr. and his wife Jan of Lindenhurst; a daughter Anna Tigar and her husband Ronnie of Staten Island; two stepsons, Gary Buley and his wife Lynn of Neversink, and Rickie Buley of Grahamsville; a stepdaughter, Karen Krom and her husband Steve of Ellenville; two grandchildren, Anna and William Tigar; and two great-grandchildren, Kristin and Anna Tigar.
His wife, Catherine Corbin died previously.
A funeral service with Liturgy of the Word was held Monday at the Joseph V. Leahy Funeral Home, Inc.
Burial was made in St. Dennis Cemetery, Hopewell Junction.
Charles Clive Metcalf
Retired Supervisor, 87
Charles Clive Metcalf of Stone Ridge died Wednesday, August 15, 2007 at the Kingston Hospital. He was 87.
He was born in Bridgeville, April 23, 1920, a son of the late Charles and Alice Metcalf.
An area resident for the past 20 years, he previously resided in Sullivan County most of his life. Prior to his retirement he was a supervisor for the New York Telephone Company in Monticello and Poughkeepsie for 36 years. He was a U.S. Army veteran of WW II serving with the 31st Division where he was also an amateur boxer. He was a member and currently serving as a trustee of the Joseph C. Hassett VFW Post #686 of High Falls and a member of the Rosendale-Tillson Post #1219 American Legion. He was member of the Monticello Fire Dept. for 25 years and a member of the Knights of Columbus, the Rosendale Senior Citizens, and AARP of Gardiner. He was an avid swimmer, scuba diver, skier and archer and was a New York State Bow Hunting Safety Instructor.
Surviving are his wife of 20 years, Joyce M. Metcalf; two daughters, Stephanie Walter of Florida, Joanne Mizerak and husband Mark of Poughkeepsie; a stepdaughter, Kim Conway and husband Michael of Rock Hill; a stepson, Steven Feith and wife Patricia of Krumville; grandchildren, Jesse, Jennifer and Leah; several step-grandchildren and step-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his first wife, Rosemary Mulvey Metcalf; a daughter, Constance Noble; and two sisters, Marion and Eleanore.
Cremation will be made at Wiltwyck Cemetery, Kingston.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.

Laura Holecek of Liberty, a homemaker and lifetime area resident, died Friday, August 17, 2007 at the Sullivan County Adult Care Center, Liberty. She was 80.
The daughter of the late Lewis and Eleanor Menshen Houston, she was born August 15, 1926 in Warwick.
Survivors include two sons, George Mondello and wife Diane of Wildomar, Calif. and Chris Mondello and wife Stephanie of Pleasanton, Calif.; a daughter, Sarah Marie Hulsizer and her husband James of Melbourne, Fla.; a brother, Lewis Houston Jr. of Liberty; two sisters, Pearl Mott of Liberty and Mary Ellen Lesando of Goshen; six grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; a special niece, Jane Rundle and her husband Clarence of Monticello; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were held Monday at Ramsay’s Funeral Home, Liberty. The Rev. Ivan Csete officiated.
Cremation was made at Cedar Hill Crematory, Newburgh.

Valerie Brevoort of Liberty, a homemaker and longtime Sullivan County resident, passed away Saturday, August 18, 2007 at Catskill Regional Medical Center. She was 89.
The daughter of the late Anthony and Lena Kraus Swiencinska, she was born July 16, 1918 in Bridgeport, Conn.
She was a member of St. Peter’s Church in Liberty and was the widow of William Brevoort who died in 1969.
Survivors include her daughter, Kathleen Familetti-Rodriquez and her husband Carlos of Liberty; twelve grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren.
In addition to her husband, William, she was predeceased by three sons and a sister.
Visitation will be held Tuesday, August 21 from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. at Ramsay’s Funeral Home, 275 S. Main St., Liberty.
A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 11:45 a.m. Wednesday, August 22 at St. Peter’s Church, 264 S. Main St., Liberty. Monsignor Edward Straub will officiate.

Marjorie A. Bachelder
Retired Assembler, 83
Marjorie A. Bachelder of Mongaup, a retired assembler for Kolmar Labs, Inc., Port Jervis and a lifelong area resident, died Thursday, August 16, 2007 at Mercy Hospital, Scranton, Pa. She was 83.
The daughter of the late Henry and Anna Carr Thiele, she was born August 17, 1924 in Mongaup.
Marge attended the Pond Eddy United Methodist Church. She was a member of the North Lake Presbyterian Church, Lady Lake, Fla. and an affiliate member of the Belleview United Methodist Church, Belleview, Fla.; and a life-member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the Tri-State Naval Ship #7241, Port Jervis.
Survivors include her husband, Douglas R. Bachelder, at home; three sons, Norman Bachelder and wife Margaret of Milford, Pa., Richard Bachelder and wife Nancy of Crossville, Tenn. and Kenneth Bachelder and wife Debbie of Pedro, Fla.; three daughters, Katherine Lemon and husband Butch of Matamoras, Pa., Sandra McCann and husband Bill of Sparrowbsuh and JoAnn Schreibel and husband Tom of Lady Lake, Fla.; ten grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; one brother, Howard Thiele and wife Genevieve of Glen Spey; three sisters, Louise McKerrell and Florence Hunt both of Glen Spey, and Deline Norris of Hillside; and several nieces and nephews.
Services were held Monday, August 20 at the Pond Eddy United Methodist Church. The Rev. Nancy Vonderhorst officiated.
Interment was private.
