Annie Doris Wallace of Monticello died Saturday, October 21, 2000, at the Seelig Division of Community General Hospital in Harris. She was 48 years of age.
The daughter of the late Journey "Jerry" and Ella C. Mathis Newkirk, she was born November 9, 1951, in Rose Hill, N.C. She was the widow of Johnnie C. Wallace Sr.
Mrs. Wallace is survived by a son, Johnnie C. Wallace Jr. of Monticello; a daughter, Tomeaca Wallace of the Bronx; two brothers, Harry Newkirk of Passaic, N.J., and Freddy Newkirk of Miami, Fla.; two sisters, Lena Newkirk of Pensacola, Fla., and Debra Williams of Loch Sheldrake; a grandson, Tyrique Daevon Snowden; and several nieces and nephews.
Friends may call at the First Baptist Church of Monticello, Liberty St., Monticello, on Friday from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Friday in the church with the Rev. James Matthews officiating.
Burial will be made in the Rock Ridge Cemetery in Monticello.

Paul M. Enlow, 82
Ret. Maintenance Man
Paul M. Enlow of Bloomingburg, a retired maintenance worker for Arden Hill Hospital, died Thursday, October 19, 2000, at the Arden Hill Hospital in Goshen. He was 82 years of age.
The son of the late Frank and Emily Gertrude Foraker Enlow, he was born September 11, 1918, in Smyrna, Del.
A World War II U.S. Army veteran, he served as a staff sergeant.
He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Mary Enlow, at home; two sons, Robert Paul Enlow of Cape Canaveral, Fla., and Daniel Paul Enlow of Stuyvesant Falls; a daughter, Bettie Marie Enlow Galantie of Atlantic City, N.J.; and six grandchildren. He was predeceased by a brother, Francis Baine Enlow.
Services were held Monday at the Morse Funeral Home in Middletown.
Burial with military honors was held in the Sullivan County Veterans Cemetery in Liberty.
Marion Masterson
Homemaker, 92
Marion Sheehan Masterson of Eastham, Mass., a homemaker, died Saturday, October 21, 2000, at the Pleasant Bay Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Brewster, Mass. She was 92 years of age.
Born and raised in New York City, she and her late husband, Thomas L. Masterson, who died in 1997, conducted the Masterson Funeral Home in Woodbourne. She graduated from high school in New York City and lived there until moving to Woodbourne in 1950. She moved to Eastham, Mass., in 1982.
Mrs. Masterson was a communicant of the Church of the Visitation in North Eastham, Mass.; a member of the Eastham Council on Aging and a member of the Ladies Auxiliary to the Stangel-Bernstein Memorial Post No. 8086, Veterans of Foreign Wars, in Wurtsboro.
She is survived by a son, Thomas L. Masterson Jr. of Eastham, Mass.; 11 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a daughter, Joan Masterson Smalley.
A Memorial Mass will be offered Saturday at the Church of the Visitation in North Eastham, followed by burial in Evergreen Cemetery in North Eastham.

Bruce L. Foster
Ret. Welder and Mechanic, 80
Bruce L. Foster of Blairstown, NJ, formerly of Livingston Manor, died on Thursday, May 31, 2007 at his home. He was 80.
He was born February 8, 1927 in Livingston Manor, a son of the late Silas and Helen Neild Foster Jr. He had been a resident of Hackettstown for 15 years before moving to Blairstown 23 years ago.
He was a U.S. Navy Veteran of World War II having served as a fireman first class. He was a welder and mechanic employed by Operating Engineers Local 825 of Springfield, N.J., for 35 years retiring in 1989. He was a member of Livingston Manor Masonic Lodge No. 291 of the Free and Accepted Masons in Livingston Manor.
He is survived by his wife of 54 1/2 years, Marge E. Foster; a son, Bruce Michael Foster of Piscataway, N.J.; two daughters, Patricia H. Brown of Ellicott, Md., and Lynn Santulli of Basking Ridge, N.J.; and four grandsons, Chris, Tim and Matt Brown, and Johnathon Santulli.
A Memorial Service will be held at the Pluckemin Presbyterian Church, Route 202-206, Pluckemin, N.J., on Saturday, June 9 at 11 a.m.

Jesse James Finigan, Jr., of Godeffroy died Wednesday, June 6, 2007 at home. He was 52.
He was born April 20, 1955 in Franklin, N.J. the son of the late Jesse James, Sr. and the late Edna Gunderman Finigan.
He married Theresa Griebel on August 9, 1980 at St. Monica's R.C. Church in Sussex, N.J.
Survivors include wife, Theresa Cecilia Griebel Finigan at home; son, Jesse James Finigan, III and his wife, Nicole of Port Jervis; daughters, Arietta Cecilia Finigan Szanyi and her husband, Chris of Bushkill, Pa. and Mary Elizabeth Finigan Godin and her husband, Kelly of Godeffroy; granddaughter, Kristen Hope Szanyi; brother-in-law, Arthur A. Griebel, Jr. and his wife, Darlene of Pulaski; close friend who was like a son to Jesse, Stephen James Frank of Middletown; close friends, Clare and Dennis Maxson of Callicoon.

Lois C. Lewis

Lois C. Lewis died after a short illness at St. Clares's Hospital in Denville, N.J. on Monday, June 4, 2007. She was 78.
Born to Lillian and Emanuel Cosh in Sussex, N.J., Mrs. Lewis was a lifelong resident of Wantage and Sussex County.
Mrs. Lewis worked as a telephone operator for Farmers Union Telephone many years ago in Sussex, N.J. before retiring in the early 1970s. She most recently worked for the True Value Hardware Store in Wantage for over 15 years before retiring in 2003.
Mrs. Lewis was a faithful and dedicated member of the Sussex United Methodist Church in Sussex for over 50 years.
Survivors include her loving husband, Arthur Lewis; one son, William E. Bonczek of Wurtsboro; two stepdaughters, Cindi Lewis of Port Jervis and Debbie Prodell of Gibbsboro, N.J.; one sister, Sadie Zelhof of Upper Saddle River, N.J.; two brothers, Howard E. Cosh of Wantage, N.J. and Douglas G. Cosh of Dingman's Ferry, Pa.; one grandson, William E. Bonczek, Jr.; two great grandsons, Bryce Bonczek and Nathan Bonczek; two nieces, Tammy Cosh and Stella Dipasqua.
She was predeceased by her son, Wayne Bonczek, and her brother, Charles Cosh.
Funeral services were held on Thursday, June 7 at the Sussex United Methodist Church, Sussex, N.J.
Interment followed at Frankford Plains Cemetery, Frankford Township, N.J.

Henry James Daubek
Retired Laborer, 83
Henry James “Jim” Daubek of Roscoe, a retired laborer for Union Local #17, died June 2, 2007 at the New York State Veterans Home in Oxford. He was 83.
He was born to Joseph and Myrtle Owens Daubek in Livingston Manor on March 30, 1924.
Survivors include his three sisters, Dorothy Moutoux of Livingston Manor, Myrtle Smith of Liberty, and Alice Daubek of Swan Lake; a brother, William Daubek of Willowemoc; a special friend, Rose Mead of Bainbridge; and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a brother, Eugene Dobell.
There will be no services.
Burial will be made in Bon Air Cemetery in Roscoe.

Peter Cerullo
Retired Teacher, 87
Peter Cerullo of East Islip and formerly of Lawrence, Mass. died on June 4, 2007. He was 87.
He was born in Lawrence, Massachusetts in 1920 of Italian immigrant parents, Michael and Rose Cerullo. He was a graduate of Lawrence High School.
He studied music at the New England Conservatory of Music and Boston University. A veteran of WWII, he was awarded three battle stars, and was a member of the 505th band unit which performed in England, North Africa, and Italy. Professionally, he played bassoon, clarinet, and alto saxophone, both jazz and classical music. He played in the Boston Pops with Arthur Fiedler, Boston Symphony, the Indianapolis Symphony, the South Shore Symphony, Huntington Symphony, Huntington Community Band, and the Bay Shore Community Band.
He was a retired music teacher of the Brentwood School District. His responsibilities included high school band director, high school marching band and stage band director, music department chairman, and local elementary music teacher. He was an active member of local 802, musicians’ union, NYSSMA, Suffolk County Music Educators' Assoc., Music Educators National Conference. Locally, he played in the Lindenhurst Fire Department band and the Lindenhurst Band. He also played in Bay Area of the Fine Arts (BAFFA). He was an avid gardener and loved taking trips to New England to visit family. His lifetime was definitely the love for music and his family.
Peter is survived by his beloved wife, Anna; son, Michael Cerullo and his wife, Fay, of Liberty and their two sons, Ryan and Dillon; son, David Cerullo and his wife, Reta, of Selden and their three children, Lisa Gregorek and husband, Christopher, of Seaford, Christine Bott and her husband, Stephen, of East Islip and their daughter, Emily, Peter Ebbetts and wife, Kerrie, of Lindenhurst and their children Nicholas and Karlie; and son, Stephen Cerullo and wife, Mary, of Amityville.
A funeral service will be held at 9:45 a.m. on Friday, June 8 at St. Mary's Roman Catholic Church, Main Street, East Islip. Burial will be made in Calverton Nat’l. Cemetery.

Gordon C. Peck
Retired Letter Carrier, 84
Gordon C. Peck of Narrowsburg and formerly of Astoria, a retired letter carrier for the United States Post Office and longtime resident of the area, died Saturday, June 16, 2007 at Wayne Memorial Hospital, Honesdale, Pa. He was 84.
The son of the late Charles and Mary Hlaveck Peck, he was born in New York City on March 30, 1923.
Gordon was a World War II Veteran having served as a Corporal in the Marine Corps. He was a purple heart recipient.
A family statement reads, Gordon was the most loving man, he was loved by everyone. He touched so many lives. He was such a strong and caring man. He was an inspiration and he will greatly be missed.
Survivors include his wife of 58 years, Margaret Rolleri Peck; his daughter, Linda Thorpe and her husband, Gary of Beach Lake, Pa.; his son, Robert Peck and his wife, Joann of Narrowsburg; two granddaughters, Carolyn Curreri, Samantha Peck; his grandson, Michael Peck; and four great grandchildren.
He is predeceased by a son, Dennis Peck; and a brother, Bruce Peck.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held today, June 19 at 9:30 a.m. at the St. Francis Xavier R.C. Church, Narrowsburg. Rev. William Scully O.F.M. will officiate.
Burial will be in Glen Cove Cemetery, Narrowsburg.
