McCLURE-MONAHAN

Julie McClure of Elmira, N.Y. and Michael R. Monahan of Erin, N.Y. were married September 25, 2004 at Our Lady of Lourdes. The 3:00 p.m. ceremony was performed by Deacon Dan Hurley and Father Jeremiah Moynahan. The bride, daughter of James and Carol McClure of Elmira and granddaughter of Arthur J. Pesoti and Mary McClure and the late Robert McClure, of Corning is currently employed with Corning, Inc. Steuben Glass as a direct mail sales consultant. The groom, son of Richard and Joan Monahan of Erin, and grandson of the late Dr. and Mrs. Richard Monahan and Dolores Wagner and the late Richard Wagner, of Elmira, is the president of Monahan Party Rental. The maid of honor was Amy Piester, and the attendants were Marie Parsons, Kelly Monahan, Shawna Townsend, Jessica Dauer, Elizabeth Iversen, Leslie Baker, Kelli Piecuch and Kacie Townsend. The flower boy was Ryan Townsend and the ring bearer was Denn Townsend. Best men were Jamie Earl and Derek Stevens and the groomsmen were Steven McClure, Wade Townsend, Joe McInnis, Charles Kennedy, Scott Ruhmel, Todd Peraballi and Zachary Townsend. After a reception at the Radisson, the couple honey mooned in Cancun, Mexico and reside in Horseheads.
