BAUER - 50TH

Mr. Richard Bauer and Mrs. Norma Bauer of Big Flats, N.Y., will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary with a dinner cruise on Seneca Lake in the company of family and friends on August 6, 2005. Mr. Richard Frederick Bauer and the former Norma Mae Cleveland were married on July 9, 1955 at the Evangelical Church ('Old German Church') in Elmira, N.Y. The couple have four children: Mrs. Theresa Doughty of Pittsburgh, PA, Mrs. Susan Budney of La Madelena, Italy, Mrs. Pamela Brownell of Hamden, CT and Mrs. Diane Incze of Portsmouth, RI. They also have 9 grandchildren. Mr. Bauer is retired from Westinghouse as an engineer in Horseheads, N.Y. and Mrs. Bauer is a retired R.N. for Dr. Otto Ledderer of Big Flats, N.Y. Mr. Bauer worked part time for the Town of Big Flats after he retired from Westinghouse and Mrs. Bauer is an active community volunteer. They are looking forward to retirement in Big Flats after taking a three week tour of Europe.
