KING - 50TH

Charles N. King and Elizabeth J. King of Elmira, N.Y. celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on July 9, 2005 with a mass/renewal of their wedding vows and a reception at the home of dear friends, Kathleen and Michael Amisano of Elmira. Mr. Charles N. King and the former Elizabeth J. Bevilacqua, were married July 9, 1955 at Our Lady of Lourdes Church in Elmira by the Rev. Leo Schwab. The couple have two children; Margaret A. Johnston of Kensington, N.H. and Anthony G. King of Wheeler, N.Y. They also have four grandchildren. Mr. King is retired from BOCES Adult Education and Mrs. King is retired from Elmira Savings Bank. The couple's daughter-in-law and son-in-law are Birgitt Wolf King of Wheeler, N.Y. and David W. Johnston of Kensington, N.H., respectively. Their grandchildren are Sean, Alex and Joel Johnston of Kensington, and Gabriella King of Wheeler, N.Y.
