Laura A. Beering of Horseheads, N.Y. and Matthew T. Roberts of Buffalo, N.Y. were married on July 9, 2005 at The Butler Mansion in Buffalo. The 5 p.m. ceremony was officiated by the Honorable Justice John F. O'Donnell. The bride is the daughter of Francis and Susan Beering of Kennedy Dr. in Horseheads and granddaughter of Mrs. Angeline Nenni of Albion, N.Y. The bride attended Niagara University for one year. She then graduated from SUNY college at Fredonia with a bachelor of science in education and a master of science in speech-language pathology. Currently the bride practices speech-language pathology at the Erie County Medical Center in Buffalo specializing in the treatment of swallowing disorders, head injury, and stroke. The groom is the son of Thomas and Mary Roberts of Buffalo and the grandson of Mrs. Thelma Jenkins of Williamsville, N.Y. and Mrs. Jean Roberts of Buffalo. The groom attended the University of Buffalo. After college, he spent two years touring the United States and Europe as a guitarist in the internationally known band, "Buried Alive". Currently, the groom is a musician/guitarist in the Buffalo based band łThe Frame-Up˛. The maid of honor was Abigail Demkovitz of Somerset, N.J. The attendants were Julia Roberts and Colleen Roberts of Buffalo. The best man was Joseph Orlando of Buffalo and the groomsmen were Randolph Hohle of Albany, N.Y. and Matthew Sfeir of New York, N.Y. After a reception at The Butler Mansion, the couple honey mooned at Saranac Lake in the Adirondacks. The couple reside on Saranac Ave. in North Buffalo.
