Mr. Charles H. Barnes and the former Ruth W. Henry were married on April 29, 1955 by Rev. Luther Cross at the Presbyterian Church of Arkport, Arkport, NY.

The couple have 4 children.

David (Kathy) Barnes of Pine City, Diana (Lee) Foster of Cayuga, Carol (Brendan) Harper of Pine City and Dorothy (Brad) Hammers of Wayland.

There are 7 grandchildren.

Mr Barnes is retired from Bell Atlantic Telephone and Mrs. is retired from the Elmira City School District.
