Colleen A. Gilroy of Horseheads, N.Y. and Thomas E. Villanova of Fabius-Pompey, N.Y. were married August 13, 2005 at the Corning Community College's Planetarium. The 2:00 p.m. ceremony was performed by Pastor Beth Bouwens. Maid of honor was Megan Gilroy, sister of the bride. Best man was Chris Villanova, brother of the groom. The reception followed immediately at the bride's parents' home in Horseheads. The bride, daughter of Jack and Isabel Gilroy, is currently a student at the New Mexico Institute of Mining and Technology, majoring in Astro-Physics. She works at the Magdalena Ridge Observatory. The groom, son of Marge Villanova and the late Edward Villanova is also a student at the same university, majoring in Mineral and Explosive Engineering. He is presently employed at the Energetic Materials Research and Testing Center as a Graduate Research Engineer. The couple would like to extend a heartfelt ³Thank you² to everyone who made their wedding so special and memorable.
