James David & Sheila Spencer of Waverly, NY observed their 25th wedding anniversary with a family dinner hosted by Eleanor Perry Marsh at Original Italian Grille, Sayre, PA.

James David Spencer & the former Sheila Perry were married Feb 23rd 1980 by Rev. Hinman at Church of the Nazarene in Waverly.

They have two children, James Adam of Chemung, NY; Daniel of Elmira, NY.

They have two special granddaughters Lidia Jade Spencer and Katelyn Pritchard.

Mr. Spencer graduated from Waverly H.S. and Southern Tier Law Enforcement Academy and is employed by Chemung County Sherrif's Office.

Mrs. Spencer graduated from Waverly H.S. and is employed by Guthrie/Robert Packer Hospital.

The couple celebrated with a Caribbean cruise in January 2005 and were accompanied by sister and brother-in-law, Irene and William Cunningham of Waverly.

The Cunninghams marked their 20th wedding anniversary while aboard the ship on January 26th.
