COON - 50TH

Jean and Richard Coon of Horseheads, New York marked their 50th wedding anniversary with a family dinner at Plantation in Vestal, New York and will be taking a trip to Hawaii. Mr. Richard Coon and the former Jean Forrest were married January 8, 1955 by the Groom's Uncle, Herbert Erway at Epworth in Elmira, New York. The couple has two children. They are Cynthia (Ted) Zaparzynski of Apalachin, New York and Christine (Joe) Coon-Ribble of Elmira. There are five grandchildren: Natalie Zaparzynski, Hilary Zaparzynski, Thad Zaparzynski, Chaz Coon-Ribble, and Joel Coon-Ribble. Mr. Coon is retired from CF Motor Freight Teamsters #529 in Elmira and Mrs. Coon is retired from SCT Boces in Elmira.
