Kara Crout and Jeffery Teeter, both of Elmira Heights, New York were married October 9, 2004 at Oakwood United Methodist Church. The 4:30 PM ceremony was performed by Reverend Holder. The Bride is the daughter of Tim and Laurie Crout of Horseheads, New York and granddaughter of Ray and Alice Bohlayer of Elmira, New York and Arnold and Carol Crout of Pine Valley, New York. She is employed with the Elmira City School District as a 6th grade English Teacher. The Groom is the son of Dan and Dianna Pastrick and Dave and Cheryl Teeter, both of Horseheads and grandson of Dick and Grace Wieder. He is employed with the Thomas Group in Ithaca, New York as a Designer. The Maid of Honor was Jennifer Crout, sister of the Bride. The Bride's attendants were Cindi Coats, Jaime Laskaris, Shana Teeter, and Melody Ross. Jr. Bridesmaid was Amanda Bartsch. The Best Man was Jeremy Avery, best friend of the Groom with Shawn Crout, Jake Cruise, Josh Glidder, and Randy Mason as Groomsmen. The reception was held at Appleridge. After a honeymoon to the Dominican Republic, the couple resides in Elmira Heights.
