Meghan Elizabeth Jacob and Jamison Jordan Nesta exchanged wedding vows at 2:30 pm on Saturday, May 15, 2004 at North Presbyterian Church in Elmira, NY. The Bride is the daughter of Don and Erin Jacob of Elmira and the granddaughter of Vernon Patterson of Painted Post, NY. The Groom is the son of Fran and Sharon Nesta of Knox, PA. The Rev. Gary Chorpenning officiated at the double-ring ceremony. The Bride wore a strapless, floor-length gown of white satin lace with detailed beading and a sequined cathedral-length veil. Her grandmother's single string of pearls graced her neck. Honor attendant for the Bride was her sister, Lauren Jacob of Elmira. Attendant bridesmaids were Heather Brown of Williamsport, PA; and Kristin Nesta of Knox, PA (sister of the Groom). Nick DiUlio of Medford, NJ served as best man for the Groom. Groomsmen were brothers of the Groom: Jonathan Nesta of Lebanon, TN; and Kyle Nesta of Knox, PA; as well as David Young of Ridley Park, PA. Rick Rogers of Seneca, PA, provided vocal selections and acoustic guitar music. Thomas Wesley Douglas of Duquesne, PA, served as organist for the processional and recessional, and as piano accompanist to Mr. Rogers on a special selection which had been written for the Groom's parents' wedding by his father. Jennifer Ashby of Oil City, PA, and attendant Heather Brown read scripture passages. A reception was held following the ceremony at the Wings of Eagles Museum in Big Flats, NY. The Bride is a 2001 graduate of the University at Buffalo with a degree in Human Resources and is employed as a market research analyst and data base administrator for Fameco Real Estate in Conshohocken, PA. The Groom is a 2002 graduate of Temple University with a degree in Communications, Film and Media Arts, and is completing graduate studies at Eastern University while teaching at Conestoga Christian School in Morgantown, PA. Following a wedding trip to New England, the couple relocated to Pottstown, PA.
