AHRENS - THOMAS

Don and Marylou Arhens of Osage, Iowa announce the engagement of their daughter, Renee Ahrens to Brian W. Thomas, son of Robert and Dorothy (Debbie) Thomas of Watkins Glen, New York. Renee is an Associate Professor in the Bernard J. Dunn School of Pharmacy in Winchester, Virginia. She received her Pharm. D. and Masters of Business Administration degrees from Drake University and is a graduate of Osage Community High School. Brian graduated from Watkins Glen High School and earned a Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Virginia. He is currently employed by the United States Army Night Vision Lab at Ft. Belvoir, Virginia as a research scientist. A December 18th wedding is planned in the Washington, D.C. area.
