VERDUN - SPENCER

Chrystelle Marie-Myriam Verdun of Reunion Island and Jeffrey Thomas Spencer of Horseheads were married aboard the vessel Columbia on beautiful Seneca Lake on August 3, 2002. The Rev. Clark "Nick" McKinney performed the ceremony before a gathering of family and friends. Stephane Verdun stood by his sister as Man of Honor. Bridesmaids were Charity Corkins of Horseheads and Emilie Cadet and Veronique Robert of Reunion Island. Lee Spencer of Horseheads served as Best Man for his brother. Groom's attendants were Stephanie Washburn of Pittsburgh, Alex Verdun of Reunion Island and Keith Vakiener of Elmira. The reception was held at the Seneca Harbor Station. The Bride is the daughter of Claude and Sylvie Verdun of Reunion Island. The Groom is the son of Steven and Nelody Spencer of Horseheads. He is employed by Hunt Engineers, Architects and Land Surveyors P.C. After a honeymoon trip to Disney World, the couple resides in Horseheads.
