Sheri Louise Woodard and James Walter Allington both of Elmira, New York were married Saturday October 4, 2003 at Westside United Methodist Church. The 2:00pm ceremony was performed by Pastor Don Guiles. The Bride is the daughter of Mike and Kay Woodard of Elmira and granddaughter of Kathryn Rowe of Lancaster, Pennsylvania. She is employed as a 911 Dispatcher for Chemung County. The Groom is the son of Jackie Allington of Elmira and grandson of Mildred Allington of Horseheads, New York. He is a Paramedic for Erway Ambulance. The Matron of Honor was Lorie McDermott and the Maid of Honor was Carol O'Herron. Bride's attendants were Chanda Woodard, Kim Taft and Heather Allington. The Best Man was Michael Allington. Groomsmen were James Rightmire Jr., Joel Raatz, Adam Taft and Jamie Burnett. The reception was held at the Southport Fire Department. The couple now resides in Southport in Elmira.
