HARRISON - 60TH

Eleanor and George Harrison of Elmira, New York marked their 60th wedding anniversary with a Dinner Party hosted by their son George W. Harrison and his wife Virginia at the Chemung County Nursing Facility on November 29, 2003. Mr. George S. Harrison and the former Eleanor C. Harder were married November 17, 1943 by the Rev. Horace Pittman at Westside Methodist Church in Elmira. The couple has two children. They are George W. (Virginia) Harrison of New Paltz, New York and Edward S. Harrison of Elmira. There are two grandchildren and one great grandson. Mr. Harrison is retired from Westinghouse Electric Corporation in Horseheads, New York as a Manufacturing Engineer. Mrs. Harrison is retired from Izards Department Store in Elmira as a Buyer and she is a homemaker.
