BRAVO - 50TH

Robert and Mary Bravo of Millport, New York marked their 50th wedding anniversary on Friday November 14, 2003. Mr. Robert Bravo and the former Mary Marshall were married November 14, 1953 at St. Mary's Church in Horseheads, New York. The couple has four children. They are Deborah Bravo Watkins of Horseheads; Bill Bravo of Fairburn, Georgia; John Bravo of Horseheads; and Mike Bravo of New Hampshire. There are three grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Mr. Bravo retired from Hardinge Brothers in Elmira Heights, New York and Mrs. Bravo is retired from St. Mary Our Mother School in Horseheads.

Bravo, Robert E. of Millport, NY passed away after a long illness on Tuesday evening, October 11, 2016 at the age of 85. Robert was born May 5, 1931 in Elmira, NY a son of the late Roy Bravo and Margaret Wales Bravo. Robert is survived by his loving wife of 63 years, Mary (Mitzie) Marshall Bravo; children, Deborah (James) Watkins, William Bravo (Cheryl Pratz), John Bravo (Susan Balland), Michael Bravo; grandchildren, Kristine (Matt) Carlson, Kimberly Colavita (Garrett Spier), Jennifer (Brandon) Butler; great grandchildren, Colin, Sophia, Deakahn, Emma, Natalie, Benjamin and Rocco; brother, Duane (Marge) Bravo; brothers-in-law and sisters in-law, James (Gael) Marshall, Thomas Marshall, Catherine Drew, and Fred Patterson and several nieces, nephews and cousins. He was a graduate of Horseheads High School and served his country honorably with the US Air Force. He worked as a machinist for over 42 years with Hardinge Bros. and enjoyed pitching horseshoes, gambling and was an avid card player. It was Robert's wishes that all services be held at the convenience of the family. He will be laid to rest at St. Mary Our Mother Cemetery.
