Mr. and Mrs. William Parker marked their 50th wedding anniversary with a family dinner on July 24, 2005.

Mr. William Parker and the former Lorraine Potter were married on July 17, 1955 by Pastor Ned Bresee at the Painted Post Baptist Church, Painted Post, N.Y.

The couple have 2 children, Ann and Randy Brewer of Lawrenceville, PA and Mary and Jim Lounsberry of Lowman, N.Y. They have three grandchildren.

Mr. Parker is a retired dairy farmer and Mrs. Parker is a retired teacher from the Elmira School District.
