BEAL - CAPALUPO

Imagine the sun setting over the Grand Teton Mountains on a perfect June afternoon, a white wedding tent filled with flowers and chamber music, many guests that included local friends of the couple plus visitors from New York, Texas, Colorado and California dressed in their party finery and last but not least a radiant bride wearing an exquisite Vera Wang gown arm-in-arm with her tall, handsome tuxedo clad groom. This was the scene of Texas bride Joanie Beal and New York groom Eric Capalupo at their wedding on Saturday, June 28th at Lost Creek Guest Ranch in Jackson Hole, Wyoming. The double ring ceremony, officiated by Bill Bush of Dallas, was highlighted by a scripture reading by Mary Lehman of Dallas and a performance by Melissa Hunter of Jackson Hole, who played guitar and sang A Page is Turned by Bebo Norman. Joanie is the daughter of Mr. And Mrs. Dick Beal of Austin, Texas. Eric is the son of Mr. And Mrs. Mike Capalupo of Horseheads, New York. The bride's sister Julie Beal of Austin served as maid of honor; also attending were friends Debbie Stevens of New York, NY, Kyle Robertson of Denver, Colorado, Lainie Myer of Houston, Texas, Jennifer Kronberger of Jackson Hole and Megan Larson and Jan Coburn both of Austin, Texas. The best man was Chris Olds of Norwich, NY, while Dave Griger of Burlington, Vermont, Pete Van Brundt of Sandy, Utah, Collin Vaughn of Jackson Hole, and Angelo Capalupo of Utica, NY were ushers. Flower girls were nieces of the groom, Cassidy, Eden, Tessa and Delilah Grieger of Burlington, Vermont. Tate and Molly, the couple's Labradors, were honorary ring bearers. Following the wedding, guests were entertained at a dinner reception at Teton Pines Country Club, where an 8 piece band led by Phil Rounds provided the music. Sparklers lit up the night sky as the couple departed in a 1938 Packard for their honeymoon in Belize. Joanie is a graduate of Westlake High School in Austin, Texas and Colorado State University. After living in Dallas and Jackson Hole, she returned to Austin where she is a Realtor with Moreland Properties. Eric is a graduate of Horseheads High School in Horseheads, NY, and SUNY College of Environmental Science and Forestry in Syracuse, NY. He moved from Jackson Hole to Austin to pursue his graduate degree in education and is teaching and coaching in Dripping Springs, TX. The couple lives in Austin.
