EVANS - 50TH

Donald and Anna Mae Evans of Fuquay Varina, NC formerly of Elmira, NY marked their 50th wedding Anniversary. The Rev. Thomas Toole married Mr. Donald Evans and the Former Anna Mae Lynch on September 12, 1953 at St. Mary's church in Elmira, NY. They have two children, a son and daughter-in-law Atty. James and Diana Evans and their daughter Elyce Kathleen of Columbus, OH. A Daughter and son-in law Julie and Robinson Ord and their children Lauren Jane and Jeffrey of Cary, NC. Mr. Evans retired after 36 years of service from the Elmira Police Department and Mrs. Evans for several years was with the Columbia Federal Bank in Elmira. The couple were born in Elmira, NY and resided there until they moved to Fuquay Varina, NC in December 2002.
