Philip P. and Margaret A. Estelle marked their 60th wedding anniversary on June 3, 2005.
Mr. and Mrs. Estelle were married on June 3, 1945 at the Northside Baptist Church in Elmira, NY.
The Estelle's have two children: their son, Philip T. Estelle and their daughter and son-in-law, Patricia Estelle and Larry Bacon.
Phil retired from Lewis Transportation of Wellsburg and Margaret retired from the Dietary Department of St. Joseph's Hospital in Elmira.

Obituary of Phillip Estelle:
Philip P. Age 79, of Elmira, NY. He was born July 21, 1925 in Ithaca, son of the late Gerald and Florence (Pine) Estelle and passed away Thursday, July 7, 2005, at home after an extended illness. He was predeceased by his parents; sisters, Dorothy Rude and Kathleen Estelle; brother, Donald Estelle; and an infant son in 1957. Philip is survived by his loving wife of 60 years, Margaret (Barr), having celebrated their 60th anniversary on June 3, 2005; daughter and son-in-law, Patricia Estelle and Larry Bacon of Elmira; son, Philip "P.T." Estelle of Elmira; twin sister, Phyllis Chandler of Waverly; brother and sister-in-law, Gerald and Barbara Estelle of Cortland, NY; sister-in-law, Doris Kinkade of Horseheads; along with several nieces and nephews. Mr. Estelle retired from Lewis Transportation. He was a member and past Master of the Chemung Valley - Waverly Lodge 350, F & AM, member and past Monarch of the Cashmere Grotto and past Grand Steward of the Grand Lodge of New York. Family and friends are invited to visit Walter J. Kent Funeral Home, 858 Lake St. at Washington Ave., Elmira, on Sunday, July 10th, from 1 to 3 p.m. A Masonic memorial service will be held at 3 p.m. followed immediately by his funeral service. Pastor Don Guiles will officiate. Committal prayers and interment will take place in Woodlawn Cemetery at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, Philip may be remembered through donations to Westside United Methodist Church, 744 W. 1st. St., Elmira, NY 14905.
