LETHA M. SANSBURY, 59, died at 3:27 p.m. Dec. 11, 2006, at The Ohio State University Medical Center, Columbus.

MARY MARGARET SCHROEDER, 90, died at 10:05 p.m. Dec. 18, 2006, at Putnam Acres Care Center, Ottawa.
She was born Aug. 12, 1916, in Ottawa to Henry Upton and Clara Mary Knapp Kenney, who preceded her in death. On June 13, 1938, she married
Clarence F. Schroeder, who died March 10, 2000.
Mrs. Schroeder was a homemaker and had retired from the U.S. Postal Service, Columbus Grove, after 40 years. She was a member of St. Anthony Catholic Church, Columbus Grove, and its Altar Rosary Society. She enjoyed stamp collecting and her family and grandchildren.
Survivors include a son, William H. (Sonja) Schroeder, of Columbus Grove; two daughters, Jean Sonye-Stahl, of Woodbridge, Ill., and Deborah L. (Jeff) Centers, of Continental; 10 grandchildren, Bill Schroeder, of Lakeland, Fla., Brian (Rachel) Schroeder and Bruce (Barb) Schroeder, both of Columbus Grove, Beth (Larry) Grogan, of Greer, S.C., Christie Dennis, of Simpsonville, S.C., Robbie (Shannon) Elias, of Greenville, S.C., Erik (Kristine) Caprella, of Fort Meyers, Fla., and Carrie Kottenbrock, Adam Kottenbrock and Cory Kottenbrock, all of Kalida; eight great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a daughter, Mary Alice Elias.
A Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 10 a.m. Friday at St. Anthony Catholic Church, Columbus Grove. The Rev. Ron Warnimont will officiate. Burial will be in the church cemetery.

LAWRENCE J. "LARRY" SHEARER, 86, died at 3:45 a.m. Dec. 19, 2006, at the Gardens of Celina.

HAROLD A. "BUTCH" THOMPSON, 70, died the afternoon of Dec. 18, 2006, at his residence.

Lima
JUDITH MARY WILLIAMS, 69, died at 10:18 a.m. Dec. 18, 2006, at her residence.
She was born Oct. 3, 1937, in Lima to Gomer and Mary Baker Wanamaker, who preceded her in death. On Aug. 22, 1959, at St. Rose Catholic Church, she married
Melvin J. Williams, who survives.
Mrs. Williams and her husband owned and operated the Old Barn Out Back until her retirement in 2002. She was a member of St. John Catholic Church, Lima. She was a member of the Catholic Women's College Club, the Charles Street Neighborhood and the Lima Magnificat Chapter. She had served as a judge with the Allen County Board of Elections. She was a 1955 graduate of St. Rose High School and a 1959 graduate of St. Mary of the Woods, Terre Haute, Ind. She was a loving and wonderful, dedicated homemaker her entire life.
Survivors also include six children, Anne Whitney, of Crystal Lake, Ill., Shelly (Brad) Beggin and Mark (Heather) Williams, both of Lima, Jenny (John) Welch, of Centerville, Peter (Bridgett) Williams, of Lima, and Cathy (Andy) Borgmeier, of Hilton Head, S.C.; a brother, James (Rebecca) Wanamaker, of Lima; and 16 grandchildren, Meredith, Caitlin, Matthew, Ryan, Lindsey, Austin, Sarah, Kara, Kelly, Michael, Jack, Jacob, Gabe, Michaela, Alaina and Noah.
Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 10 a.m. Thursday at St. John Catholic Church, Lima. Fathers William Rose and Norbert Howe will officiate. Burial will be in Gethsemani cemetery.

U. JAMES "JIM" DARRAS, 81, died at 11:10 a.m. Dec. 19, 2006, at Convoy Care Center, Convoy.

ESTHER V. HARDER, 95, died at 5:05 p.m. Dec. 18, 2006, at Shawnee Manor Nursing Home.
She was born Feb. 16, 1911, in DeGraff to Olliver S. and Bertha DeWeese Vance, who preceded her in death. On June 6, 1936, she married
Dr. Cecil J. Harder, who died Aug. 7, 1986.
Mrs. Harder was a district director for Mahoning Valley Council of the Camp Fire Girls and had been a teacher in Sidney and Hubbard school districts. She was a member of First Baptist Church. She was a member of the Federation of Women's Business Association and former president of the Cleveland Elementary School PTA. She was a member of the Progress Study Club, where she gave several book reviews. She attended Wittenberg College, where was a member of Alpha Zi Delta Sorority. She was an avid bridge player.
Survivors include a son, John C. (Susan) Harder, of Eden, N.C.; a daughter, Judith Cole, of Lima; six grandchildren, John C. Harder Jr., Holly (David) Dalton, Scott V. Harder, Kerry (John) Casey, Matthew Harder and Melissa A. (John) Waller; and three great-grandchildren, Kayley Dalton, Bradley (Jenny) Waller and Ashley A. Waller.
She was preceded in death by a brother, Richard Vance; and a sister, Velma Vance.
Services will begin at 7 p.m. today at Chiles-Laman Funeral Homes, Shawnee Chapel. Pastor George E. Purdle will officiate.
