JEREMY ALLEN ERWIN, 29, of Nevada, Ohio, formerly of Lima, died the morning of Aug. 16, 2004.
He was born Nov. 27, 1974, in Lima to Verner "Al" and Debra Lange Erwin, who survive.
Mr. Erwin had been a carpenter for Quality Masonary Corp. He was a 1993 graduate of River Valley and Tri-River schools. He loved cross country running and had competed in the Junior Olympics. He had been inducted into the River Valley Hall of Fame. He was a Marine Corps veteran.
Survivors also include two daughters, Mercedes of Bucyrus and Alexis of Nevada, Ohio; a brother, Jon (Carrie) Erwin of Delaware, Ohio; two nephews, Logan Erwin and Michael Seeley; several aunts, uncles and cousins; and his extended family, Bobbie Bailey, Josh Bailey, Garry Bailey, Tammy Kirtley and Jessie Kirtley.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Eugene and Juanita Lange; and his paternal grandparents, Verner and Allie Erwin Sr.
Services will begin at 1 p.m. Friday at Hughes-Allen Funeral Home, Marion. The Rev. Jeff Williams will officiate. Interment will be in the Marion cemetery Mausoleum, with military rites by the Marion County Joint Veterans Council.
Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.

HARRIET KATHERINE GLANCY, 91, died at 3 p.m. Aug. 18, 2004, at Lima Manor Nursing Home.
Arrangements are incomplete at Chiles & Sons-Laman Funeral Homes, Shawnee Chapel.
St. Marys
MAXINE J. LAFFIN, 87, died at 2:58 p.m. Aug. 16, 2004, at Joint Township District Memorial Hospital, St. Marys.
Private family services will be held. Burial will be in Resthaven Memory Gardens, near Moulton.

Lima
M. RUTH McADOW, 94, died at 12:55 a.m. Aug. 18, 2004, at Lima Convalescent Home.
She was born March 20, 1910, in Ada to Lorum and Ollie Binkley Snyder, who preceded her in death. On Aug. 7, 1929, she married
Fay W. McAdow, who died Nov. 28, 1974.
Mrs. McAdow was a homemaker. She was a member of St. Matthew Lutheran Church and was a charter member of St. Luke Lutheran Church. She was a member of the Shawnee Grange, the National Grange and the Shawnee Coummunity Club. She had served as president of the Allen County Federation of Farm Women Clubs. She had been a volunteer for the Red Cross and its blood mobile program. She was a 1929 graduate of Lima Central High School. She loved gardening.
Survivors include two daughters, Mary L. Barnt of Punta Gorda, Fla., and Anne (Dr. Edward) Laman of Delphos; two brothers, Clarence "Pat" (Doris) Snyder of Indianapolis and Richard "Dick" Snyder of Lima; three grandchildren, Carolyn (Jim) Bode, Gary (Debbie) Good and Connie (Brian) Frobase; and seven great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a brother, John Snyder.
Services will begin at 2 p.m. Friday at St. Matthew Lutheran Church. Pastor James Couser will officiate. Burial will be in Memorial Park cemetery.

DAVID JAMES McKINNEY, 52, died Aug. 17, 2004, at the Cleveland Clinic, Cleveland.
Services will begin at 11 a.m. Saturday at Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home. The Rev. Henry Sattler will officiate. Burial will be in Walnut Hill cemetery, New Hampshire, Ohio.

Harrod
WILFORD "WAYNE" PRATER, 67, died at 10:45 p.m. Aug. 17, 2004, at St. Rita's Medical Center.
He was born April 23, 1937, in Hardin County to Tracy and Edyth Dotson Prater, who preceded him in death. On May 29, 1955, he married
Leatrice "Lee" Williams, who survives in Harrod.
Mr. Prater retired in 2000 from Lima Sandblasting and Painting Co. He was a member of Alger United Baptist Church, Alger.
Survivors also include three sons, Dennis (Laura) Prater of Lima, David Prater of Harrod and Fred (Myndy) Prater of Lima; a daughter, Zora (David) Keasler of Harrod; four brothers, Eldon (Helen) Prater of Bellefontaine and Wilmer Prater, Ted Prater and Jerry (Joyce) Prater, all of Kenton; four sisters, Lois (Ken) Featherolf of Groveport, Terri Masi of Kenton, Vellaree Loomis of Marysville and Denise (Frank) Sanborn of Woodstock; and 10 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Dennis Prater; and a sister, Shirley Prater.
Services will begin at 1:30 p.m. Saturday at Alger United Baptist Church, Alger. Elders Denver Caudill and Freddie Preston will officiate. Burial will be in Preston cemetery, Alger.

Cairo
TOMMIE A. "TOM" RUNNEALS, 74, died at 6 p.m. Aug. 16, 2004, at Lima Memorial Hospital.
He was born April 1, 1930, in Lakewood to Harold and Anna Murray Runneals, who preceded him in death. He was raised by Sherman and Ruby Garner, who also preceded him in death. On July 28, 1948, he married
Dorothy Jennings, who survives.
Mr. Runneals retired in 1988 from Ford Motor Co. Lima Engine Plant. He was a member of Cairo United Methodist Church. He joined the Cairo Volunteer Fire Department in 1949, and served as chief from 1970 to 1980 and from 1981 to 1985. In 1970, he became an EMT, which started the Cairo EMS. In 1972, he became an instructor for first aid, heart saver, EMT and fires. In 1976, he became and EMT/Advanced. He retired from the fire department on Dec. 3, 2001. He was a member of United Auto Workers Local 1219 and Fraternal Order of Eagles Aerie 2772, Columbus Grove. He had coached youth baseball programs for several years at Bath schools. He was a 1948 graduate of Columbus Grove High School. He was a veteran of the Naval Reserve. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather and friend.
Survivors also include three sons, Terry (Susan) Runneals of Cairo, Larry (Nadean) Runneals of Lima and James (Cyndi) Runneals of Rockford; two daughters, Janice (Thad) Jesko and Linda K. Runneals, both of Cairo; 13 grandchildren, Michael (Tammy) Runneals, Scott (Cindy) Runneals, Ryan (Angie) Runneals, Erik (Monica) Runneals, Tasha (Ian) Sell, Morgan Sell, Trey Runneals, Candy (Keith) Armstrong, Jodi (Seth) Zimmerman, Chadd Dailey, Kristin Nicole, Steve (Brandi) Jesko and Brian (Jodi) Jesko; and 11 great-grandchildren, Tori, Nolan, Justin, Brittany Casey, Tyler, Collin, Megan, Arianna, Olivia, Bryce and Chloe.
He was preceded in death by a cousin, Russell Garner, who was like a brother to him.
Services will begin at 11 a.m. Friday at Cairo United Methodist Church. Pastor Rich Rakay will officiate. Burial will be in Cairo East Side cemetery, where fire department services will be held.
Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. today at Hartman Sons Funeral Home, Columbus Grove.

Delphos
EDWARD E. SCHRADER, 83, died at 7 p.m. Aug. 17, 2004, at his residence.
He was born May 2, 1921, in New Haven, Ind., to Edward J. and Estella Martin Schrader, who preceded him in death. On Aug. 4, 1945, he married
Wilma Arnold, who survives in Delphos.
Mr. Schrader retired from Fruehauf Corp., after 40 years. He was a member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, New Haven, Ind. He was a life member of Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 3740, Ottoville, and American Legion Post 330, New Haven, Ind. He was a member of the 767th Squadron 461st Bombardment Group H Inc. He was an Army Air Corps veteran of World War II, serving in the Italian Theater. He was very proud of his accomplishments during his service time. He enjoyed woodworking, fishing, watching and feeding squirrels, spending time with his family and his WWII memorabilia. He especially enjoyed his dog Bitsy.
Survivors also include six children, Julie Schrader of Coos Bay, Ore., Sue (Bob) Metcalf of Delphos, Linda (Hop) McClure-Hammons of Ottoville, GiGi (Larry) Dodd of Central Point, Ore., and John Schrader and Jim (Rene) Schrader, both of Ottoville; and 14 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by six brothers and a sister.
Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 11 a.m. (Indiana time) Saturday at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, New Haven, Ind. Father Paul McCarthy will officiate. Burial will be in the church cemetery, with military rites by the Delphos Veterans Council.
Friends may call from 2 to 8 p.m. today at Harter & Son Memorial Chapel, Delphos, 2 to 8 p.m. (Indiana time) Friday at E. Harper & Son Funeral Home, New Haven, Ind., where a parish wake service will be held at 7:30 p.m. (Indiana time), and one hour prior to services Saturday at the church.
