PATSY A. JOHNSON, 67, died at 10:05 p.m. Jan. 3, 2006, at her residence.
She was born April 28, 1938, in Bluffton to Russell and Betty Allstetter Schaublin. Her father preceded her in death. Her mother survives in Columbus Grove. On Aug. 24, 1956, she married
Harold E. "Gene" Johnson, who died Aug. 5, 1995.
Mrs. Johnson had worked at Kenny's Lunch, Hawkeye's and Imm's Auto Shop, all in Columbus Grove; Triplett Corp., Bluffton; and Kohl's Market, Ottawa. She was a 1956 graduate of Columbus Grove High School. She had been the activities director for the Leipsic Senior Citizens. She and her husband had enjoyed traveling while she was the director. She enjoyed camping with her family and friends and attending her grandchildren's activities. All who knew her, especially her children, in-laws, grandchildren and great-grandchildren, loved her. She was always helpful and was there for her family. The oldest of eight children, she helped with the raising of her siblings and continued the tradition with all of the love and care in helping raise her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren, as well as her nieces and nephews. She was a loving daughter, wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt and friend. She is loved and will be missed.
Survivors also include a son, Keith (Diana) Johnson of Columbus Grove; four daughters, Kimberly Young (Ken) Duling of Pandora, Lisa A. Johnson and Lynne (David) Hermiller, both of Columbus Grove, and Susan (Mark) Voisard of Versailles; four brothers, Ray (Rosie) Schaublin of Martinez, Ga., Bob (Vicki) Schaublin of Columbus Grove, Mike (Monica) Schaublin of Ottawa and Rick (Sandi) Schaublin of Columbus Grove; two sisters, Diana (Kyle) Nienberg of Columbus Grove and Jane Rodenberger of Alger; seven grandchildren, Joseph Young, Kelly Johnson, Dana Johnson, Laura Hermiller, Jessica Hermiller, Adam Voisard and Amber Voisard; and three great-grandchildren, Tyler, Christopher and Jason Ruggles.
She was preceded in death by a brother, Richard Schaublin; and two grandchildren, Amy Young Ruggles and Ross Alan Johnson.
Services will begin at 11 a.m. Saturday at Hartman Sons Funeral Home, Columbus Grove. Herb Wilker will officiate. Burial will be in Truro cemetery, Columbus Grove.
Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. today and 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.

Lima
RAYMOND NOBLE "RAY" JOHNSTON, 63, of Sarasota, Fla., formerly of Lima, died at 5:10 p.m. Dec. 31, 2006, at Tidewell Hospice House of Southwest Florida.
He was born April 18, 1942, in Mansfield to Gratton and Rose Quinn Johnston, who preceded him in death. On April 13, 1984, he married
Connie J. Moyer, who survives in Sarasota, Fla.
Mr. Johnston was owner of Thomas D. Quinn Inc. He was a member of St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church. He was a member of Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks Lodge 54 and the Knights of Columbus. He was a graduate of Lima Central Catholic High School and St. Joseph College and received his master's degree from the University of Dayton. He was a devoted husband, father and grandfather.
Survivors also include a son, Drew (Tricia) Johnston of Sylvania; a daughter, Heather (Bob) Johns of Lima; a stepson, Kevin Bucher of Summerville, S.C.; a stepdaughter, Haley Bucher of Sarasota, Fla.; a sister, Judy VanderWeele of Lima; and three grandchildren, Sydney Raye Johnston of Sylvania and Clay Bucher and Mason Bucher, both of Summerville, S.C.
He was preceded in death by two grandchildren, Adam and Eric Bucher.
A memorial Mass will begin at 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church. The Rev. David Ritchie will officiate.
Friends may call from noon to 2 p.m. Saturday at Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home, where a eulogy service will be held at 2 p.m.

Lima
NORMAN E. KREUZBERG, 91, died at 7:57 a.m. Jan. 2, 2006, at St. Rita's Medical Center.
He was born Nov. 1, 1914, in Cleveland to Frank A. and Aluina Pansky Kreuzberg, who preceded him in death. On May 28, 1939, he married
Evelyn Marie Arsinow, who died Sept. 17, 1975.
Mr. Kreuzberg retired in 1991, as president of Halker Advertising Agency Inc. He had moved to Lima in 1937, to work as the advertising and sales manager of Lima-Kenton Wholesale Grocery Co., an affiliate of United Buyers Corp., Chicago. He was a charter member of St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church, where he had been an usher, member of the finance committee and Visitation Sunday chairman. He had been a member of the Lima Host Lion's Club, since 1942, where he had served in every club office and as a member of most committees. He had also served as cabinet/secretary treasurer, zone chairman, deputy and district governor of District 13-A. While serving as district governor, he was chosen to serve as chairman of the Ohio State Council of Governors. He was awarded a Melvin Jones Fellowship for Humanitarian Services to Lion's International and was named as an International Counselor. He had served as president of Junior Achievement, was a life member of Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks Lodge 54 and a member of AARP and the Lima Senior Citizens. As a volunteer for the United Way, he served on the allocation and publicity committees. He had also served on the publicity committee at St. Rita's Medical Center, where he was a 25-year member of its Mercy Club.
Survivors include a daughter, Jane (Thomas) Bland of Casselberry, Fla.; a son, David (Carolyn) Kreuzberg of Columbus Grove; three grandchildren, Sydney (Ron) Jones of Longwood, Fla., Thomas Bland of Casselberry, Fla., and Brian (Billie Jean) Kreuzberg of Pandora; two great-grandsons, Zachary and Darian; a niece, Collette (Vincent) Caffarello of Arlington Heights, Ill.; a nephew, William (Gail) Dolan of Elk Grove Village, Ill.; good friend, James R. Schenk of Lima; and his cherished friend's three daughters, Cynthia (Gary) Turner of Beavercreek, Andrea (Peter) Young of San Diego and Dianne (John) Janowski of Woodbridge, Ill.
He was preceded in death by a son, Dennis Kreuzberg; a niece, Judith Zack; a sister, Ruth K. Brown; and his cherished friend and companion, Winifred S. Ballard.
Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 11:30 a.m. Saturday at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church. The Rev. Stephen Blum will officiate. Burial will be in Gethsemani cemetery.
Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday at Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home, where a Lion's service will be held at 7:30 p.m., a BPOE service at 7:45 p.m. and a wake service at 8 p.m.

New Cleveland
URBAN H. LAMMERS, 91, died at 7:35 p.m. Jan. 3, 2006, at Calvary Manor Nursing Home, Glandorf.
He was born Nov. 25, 1914, in Leipsic to Bernard and Lucy Wise Lammers, who preceded him in death. On Oct. 25, 1939, he married
Marie Schulte, who died March 13, 1999.
Mr. Lammers retired as a farmer and as a bus driver for the New Cleveland School District. He was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church, New Cleveland, and its Holy Name Society and choir.
Survivors include four sons, Daniel (Nadine) Lammers of Ramona, Calif., Kenneth (Dorothy) Lammers of Carroll, Duane (Kris) Lammers of Temperance, Mich., and Timothy (Virginia) Lammers of Leipsic; two daughters, Annette Mann of Troy and Cynthia (Nat Wright) Lammers of Hoboken, N.J.; 12 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and a sister, Martha Langhals of Columbus Grove.
He was preceded in death by a sister, Clara Langhals.
Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 10 a.m. Saturday at Holy Family Catholic Church, New Cleveland. Father Robert DeSloover will officiate. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
Friends may call from 2 to 8 p.m. Friday at Love Funeral Home, Ottawa, where a Scripture service will be held at 3 p.m.

Continental
OMA MELVINA LENTZ, 96, died Jan. 3, 2006, at Putnam Acres Care Center, Ottawa.
She was born March 6, 1909, near Rice to William and Arla Cessena Halbgewoks, who preceded her in death. On July 10, 1934, in Angola, Ind., she married
Reno L. Lentz, who died Jan. 26, 1994.
Mrs. Lentz had worked at Continental Telephone Co. for several years before getting married
and again in the 1950s and 1960s. She was a member of Continental United Methodist Church and its women's society. She had been a member of North Mount Zion Church. She was a longtime member of the Sharon Grange. She was a 1927 graduate of Continental High School, of which she was one of the last remaining class members. She was a graduate of beauty school in Defiance. She had resided on the family farm near Continental, until moving to Putnam Acres Care Center, where she lived the past several years. The very soft and loving voice of the Lord Jesus has called her home to rest. She will be deeply missed by those who were blessed to be a part of her long life.
Survivors include two children, Kay (David) Kimmel of Middlebury, Ind., and Richard L. (Janis) Lentz of Continental; five grandchildren, Tim (Suzette) Kimmel of Plainfield, Ill., Kelly (David) Gross of Auburn, Ind., Kristine (Dr. William) Flora of Elkhart, Ind., and Jana Lentz and Rick Lentz, both of Continental; and six great-grandchildren, Brittany and Justine Kimmel, Adam and Ashley Gross and Conner and Noelle Flora.
She was preceded in death by a brother, Ralph Halbgewoks; and a sister, Ruth Ryan.
Services will begin at 11 a.m. Saturday at Heitmeyer Funeral Home, Continental. The Rev. Greg Wack will officiate. Burial will be in North Mount Zion cemetery, Continental.

NADIA DON McDONALD was stillborn at 2:45 a.m. Jan. 1, 2006, at St. Rita's Medical Center.
Her parents, Rockland E. McDonald Sr. and Bridget Don Grothjan, survive in Lima.
Survivors also include three siblings, Jalin McDonald, Destiny McDonald and Rockland McDonald Jr.; maternal grandparents, Robert Grothjan and Sherry and David Klausing, all of Lima; paternal grandmother, Nonie McDonald of Lima; maternal great-grandparents, Harry and Emily Grothjan and Renee Cline, all of Lima; paternal great-grandfather, Eugene Moore Sr. of Lima; an uncle, Robert (Dannielle) Grothjan of Lima; and three cousins, Robert Grothjan Jr., Katelynn Grothjan and Joshua Grothjan.
She was preceded in death by paternal grandfather, Rockland McDonald; and paternal great-grandmothers, Nonie Moore and Deloris McDonald.
Services will begin at 1 p.m. Friday at Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home. Graveside services will begin at 2 p.m. Friday in Woodlawn cemetery.

Spencerville
EMMA WOLFORD, 94, died at 9:42 p.m. Jan. 3, 2006, at VanCrest Health Care Center, Delphos.
She was born Oct. 1, 1911, in Jennings Township, Van Wert County, to Frederick and Mattie White Rigdon, who preceded her in death. On June 20, 1936, she married
G. Herbert Wolford, who died Dec. 22, 2004.
Mrs. Wolford was a graduate of Ridge High School, Van Wert County, and attended Manchester College in Indiana, where she earned her teaching certificate. She enjoyed cooking for the farm hands on the family farm, fishing and travel trips.
Survivors include two sons, Dwight R. (Alice) Wolford of Haviland and Dwain L. (Janet) Wolford of Spencerville; a daughter, Judy (Larry) Bowsher of Elgin; eight grandchildren, Jerry (Marcia) Wolford, Mike (Susan) Wolford, Joine Wolford, Ann (Trent) Cox, John Wolford, Richard Wolford, David (Katie) Bowsher and Lynette Bowsher; six great-grandchildren, Adam Mengerink, Nick Wolford, Emily Cox, Ian Cox, Elena Cox and Cassie Bowsher; and a sister-in-law, Lois Wolford of Bellefontaine.
She was preceded in death by a sister, Ruth Rigdon; and a granddaughter, Emily Bowsher.
Private family services will be held Monday at Thomas E. Bayliff Funeral Home, Spencerville. The Rev. Steve Placke will officiate. Burial will be in Wright cemetery, near Converse.
There will be no public visitation.
