JIMMIE LEE MOREO, 74, died at 10:15 a.m. Jan. 15, 2006, at St. Rita's Medical Center.
Service will begin at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Harter & Schier Funeral Home, Delphos. The Rev. David Howell will officiate. Burial will be in Walnut Grove cemetery, Delphos, with the Delphos Veterans Council performing military rites.

BLANCHE M. SHULTZ, 97, died at 12:45 p.m. Jan. 14, 2006, at Blanchard Valley Regional Health Center, Findlay.
Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at St. Wendelin Catholic Church, Fostoria, where a rosary will be prayed at 10 a.m. Burial will be at St. Wendelin Parish cemetery.

Ottawa
JANIS R. WATKINS, 65, died at 5:30 p.m. Jan. 14, 2006, at her residence.
She was born Feb. 11, 1940, in Putnam County to William Henry and Florence Konst Swankhouse, who preceded her in death. On May 23, 1958, she married
John A. Watkins, who died Sept. 13, 1994.
Mrs. Watkins retired from Philips Display Components Co., Ottawa. She was a member of the Ottawa Eagles Auxiliary and an avid NASCAR fan.
Survivors include two sons, Michael Watkins of Las Vegas and Scott (Tracy) Watkins of Ottawa; two daughters, Rhonda Ebbeskotte of Lima and Connie (Steve) Mangas of Leipsic; nine grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; a brother, Denny (Renee) Swankhouse of Kalida; two sisters, Jean (Dick) Archer and Becky (Bobby) Heater, both of Pulaski, Tenn.; and a special friend, Lee Eisenbach of Pandora.
She was preceded in death by a brother, William Swankhouse.
Service will begin at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Love Funeral Home. The Rev. Tim Eding will officiate. Burial will be later in Harman cemetery, Gilboa.
Friends may call from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.

PHYLLIS RAE SCHREIBER BALLIET, 75, died at 5:02 p.m. Jan. 15, 2006, at Van Wert County Hospital, Van Wert.
Services will begin at 11 a.m. Thursday at Cowan & Son Funeral Home, Van Wert. Pastor Stan Dietrich will officiate. Burial will be in Woodlawn cemetery, Ohio City.

Findlay
JULIAN R. "J.R." BRONDES, 83, died at 5:55 a.m. Jan. 15, 2006, at The Heritage, Findlay.
He was born June 4, 1922, in Defiance to Julian R. and Mabel E. Robinson Brondes, who preceded him in death. In 1961, he married
Linda C. Leader Bosse, who survives.
Mr. Brondes retired as owner and president of San-A-Pure Dairy, a business his family founded when they moved to Findlay in 1927, and operated until it was sold in 1977. For more than 50 years he was a member of the First Presbyterian Church, Findlay, and its character builders Sunday school class. In 1956, he enrolled his company in the Cooperating Dairies for Civil Defense, which supplied emergency drinking water in milk cartons. He served on the Findlay City Council from 1979 to 1984 and as Hancock County treasurer from 1985 to 2001. He served as president of the Ohio Dairy Products in 1974 and on the Blanchard Valley Hospital board. He was a member of the Findlay Rotary Club for more than 50 years serving as president in 1974; a member of the Hancock Recreation Center, where he was president and treasurer from 1984 to 1975; and Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks Lodge 75, Findlay, for more than 50 years. He was a member of Lodge 227 Free & Accepted Masons, Findlay, Chapter 58 Royal Arch Masons, Council 50 Royal & Select Masons, Commandery 49 Knights Templar and the Scottish Rite Valley of Toledo. He was a member of the Millstream Singers, and other barbershop quartets, the Warbucks Investment Club and the Pits Gun and Rod Club. He had been a member of the Findlay Country Club, where he was an avid golfer until 2000.
He was a graduate of Findlay High School and received his business degree from Ohio Wesylan University, where he was a member of Phi Delta Theta Fraternity. He was an Army veteran serving from 1941 to 1943. He volunteered working litter control for 24 years at the Memorial at Muirfield and for 13 years at The Masters golf tournaments.
Survivors also include four children, Bruce Julian (Donna) Brondes of Lima, Gary Carl (Kay) Brondes of Findlay, Betsy Kay (Paul) Griffo of Lima and Julie Ann Lane of Findlay; two stepchildren, John Brooks (Ann) Bosse and Steven Bradford (Kathy) Bosse, both of Findlay; four grandchildren, Emily Jane Brondes, Jonathan Paul Griffo, Aaron Michael Griffo and Hailey Marie Griffo; a great-grandchild, Paige Nicole Trudelle; and four stepgrandchildren, Casey Tobie Bosse, Chase Bradford Bosse, Nicole Ann Bosse and Erin Elizabeth Bosse.
Memorial services will begin at 2 p.m. Thursday at First Presbyterian Church, Findlay. The Revs. John Wurster and Donna Giver Johnston will officiate. Burial will be in the church columbarium.
Friends may call immediately following services at the church fellowship hall.
Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of the donor's choice.

Celina
REGINA L. "GINNY" BYRNE, 80, formerly of Delphos, died at 7:15 p.m. Jan. 15, 2006, at Mercer County Community Hospital, Coldwater.
She was born March 21, 1925, in Ottoville to Bernard and Bernadine Brinkman Rayman, who preceded her in death. On Aug. 11, 1945, she married
Thomas T. Byrne, who survives in Celina.
Mrs. Byrne had been a hairdresser for 35 years, owning and operating Ginny's Beauty & Style Shop and Mr. Byrne's Wig Center, both in Delphos; Modern Miss, Van Wert; Dianna's, Ottoville; and Cameo, Defiance. She was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Celina, and a former member of St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, Delphos.
Survivors also include two children, Dianna (Mike) Ireton of Celina and F. Joseph "Joe" (Tracey) Byrne of Brockway, Pa.; four grandchildren, Emily (Tony) Chu, Sarah Ireton, Daniel Ireton and Sean Ireton; three sisters, Alma Gerker of Fort Jennings, Mildred "Mutzie" Brinkman of Delphos and Doris Ann "Dorty" (Art) Rellinger of Ottoville; and two great-granddaughters, Finnegan and Madeline Chu.
She was preceded in death by two sons, Ronald and Joseph Byrne; a grandson, Stephan James Byrne; two brothers, Ed and Aloysius "Bud" Rayman; and four sisters, LaDonna Gerlock, Agnes Luebrecht, Agatha Metz and Margaret Blymyer.
Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 11 a.m. Thursday at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, Delphos. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday and 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. Thursday at Kolkmeyer-Helmkamp-Orians Funeral Home, Delphos, where a parish wake service will be held at 8 p.m. Wednesday.

Spencerville
CHARLOTTE K. FLECK, 58, died at 10 a.m. Jan. 13, 2006, at her residence.
She was born Nov. 26, 1947, to Roy and Irene Pinks Risner. Her father preceded her in death. Her mother survives in Spencerville. On April 15, 1981, she married
Jeff A. Fleck, who survives in Spencerville.
Mrs. Fleck had been a nurses aide for several organizations and had worked at International Brake. She was a member of Marion Baptist Church, Delphos. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend.
Survivors also include a daughter, Christina Fleck of Spencerville; s sister, Barbara (Norm) Sink of Sun City, Ariz.; a grandson, Taye; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by a brother, Jack Risner.
Memorial services will begin at 11 a.m. Thursday at Marion Baptist Church, Delphos. Pastor Jay Lobach will officiate. Burial of the cremains will be at a later date.
Friends may call from 9 a.m. until time of services Thursday at the church.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the March of Dimes or the charity of the donor's choice.
