Lima
MARY L. GRISMER, 91, of Oldsmar, Fla., formerly of Lima, died Nov. 17, 2003, in Oldsmar.
She was born Aug. 1, 1912, in Cincinnati. In 1939, she marred Adam Grismer, who preceded her in death.
Mrs. Grismer was an accomplished seamstress. She was a graduate of Cincinnati Business School. She enjoyed playing bridge. She moved to Florida in 1997.
Survivors include three daughters, Anita (Gerald) Boop of Ashland, Va., Joyce (William) Dwyer of Crystal Lake, Ill., and Marilyn (Michael) Sexton of Clinton, Conn.; a daughter-in-law, Susan Grismer of Oldsmar; a sister, Ruth Hughes of Cincinnati; and 13 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a son, Gale; two brothers, Richard and William; and a sister, Virginia.
Mass of Celebration will begin at 10 a.m. Tuesday at St. Rose Catholic Church, Lima. Burial will be private in Gethsemani cemetery, Lima.
Friends may call one half hour prior to services at the church.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the charity of the donor's choice.
Ada
ANN KAYLOR, 76, died at 11:35 p.m. Dec. 3, 2003, at St. Rita's Medical Center.
She was born Oct. 1, 1927, in Sidney to Simon and Maude Hopkins McCarty, who preceded her in death.
Mrs. Kaylor was a licensed practical nurse working in the emergency room at St. Rita's Medical Center, as a nurse and office manager for Dr. Charles Burns and as a nurse at Plus Health Care Center. She was a Schnauzer breeder. She loved gardening, music, dance and family get-togethers.
Survivors include a son, Jeffry A. (Nora) Kaylor of Oregon, Ohio; a daughter, Sharon A. Hirschfeld of Ada; four grandchildren, Brent (Nicole Teeters) Hirschfeld of St. Marys, Charity (Jeremi) Brayton of Lima, Kimberly (Jeff) O'Black of Detroit and Michelle (Bill Graham) Hirschfeld of Fort Loramie; and seven great-grandchildren, Braden Hirschfeld, Alexandria Brayton, Jacob Brayton, Joey O'Black, Ashley Hirschfeld, Nicholas Graham and Cole Graham.
She was preceded in death by a sister, Nina Fisher.
Services will begin at 9 a.m. Saturday at Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home. The Rev. Tina Dietsch will officiate. Burial will be in Memorial Park cemetery.

BETTY M. KETTEMAN, 77, died at 8:17 a.m. Dec. 3, 2003, at Lima Manor Nursing Home.
She was born Sept. 14, 1926, in Monticello to Charles and Tena Becker Boroff, who preceded her in death. On Aug. 25, 1946, at Grace United Methodist Church, she married
Dale C. Ketteman, who survives in Lima.
Mrs. Ketteman retired from Northrup, King & Co. She was a member of Grace United Methodist Church. She was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary. She was a graduate of Clayton (Mich.) High School and Ann Arbor Secretarial School.
Survivors also include two daughters, Kathleen S. (Ronald) Fisher of Russells Point and Janis D. (Don) Bridge of Lima; two brothers, Kenneth Boroff of Lansing, Mich., and Junior Boroff of St. Marys; four sisters, Pauline Stultz of Adrian, Mich., and Mary Boroff, Fern Rockhold and Ann Baer, all of Spencerville; two grandchildren, Brandon O'Brien of Atlanta and Trent O'Brien of Lima; six stepgrandchildren, Ronda Hartzog of Huntertown, Ind., Melinda Kaufman of Waynesfield, Tammy Dear and Michael Bridge, both of Lima, Stephanie Marshal of Indiana and Toni Bridge of Columbus; and nine stepgreat-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a brother, Carl Boroff and a sister, Marcelle Boroff.
Services will begin at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home. The Rev. Dr. Daniel Curtis will officiate. Burial will be in Memorial Park cemetery.

SHARON L. KING, 66, died at 3:58 a.m. Dec. 4, 2003, at Joint Township District Memorial Hospital, St. Marys.
She was born June 30, 1937, in Buckland to Russell B. and Audrey P. Colton Wagner, who preceded her in death. On Nov. 12, 1955, she married
A. Frank King, who survives.
Mrs. King was a homemaker and sold Avon products. She was a member of Brands Lake Fishing Club, Wapakoneta. She was a graduate of Buckland High School. She enjoyed playing bingo.
Survivors also include two sons, Gordon King of Botkins and Tony (girlfriend, Bobbi) King of Wapakoneta; two daughters, Sherry (Joe) Spaugy of Jackson Center and Stacy King of Wapakoneta; a sister, Nub (Ronnie) Huebner of Wapakoneta; a brother-in-law, Don Schmerge of Botkins; three sisters-in-law, Pat Wagner and Odie Wagner, both of Wapakoneta, and Jane Wagner of Florida; 10 grandchildren, Nathan King, Jeremy Ott, Ashley (Jesse) McCullough, Crystal (C.J.) Shroyer, Justin Spaugy, Cody Spaugy, Audrey Wheeler, Jennifer Roode, Adam King and Megan King; and six great-grandchildren, Halie Shroyer, Taylor McCullough, Mikayla Wheeler, Jenna Free, Preston Free and Christina Michael.
She was preceded in death by four brothers, Charles "Gene", James, Russell M. "Shorty" and infant Donald; and two sisters, Carol Schmerge and Alice Kill.
Services will begin at 1:30 p.m. Monday at Bayliff & Eley Funeral Home, Wapakoneta. The Rev. Carl Miller will officiate. Burial will be in Resthaven Memory Gardens, near Moulton.

Botkins
JAY D. POOR, 67, died at 3:40 p.m. Dec. 3, 2003, at Riverside Methodist Hospital, Columbus.
He was born May 7, 1936, in Mendon to Walter and Luella Siler Poor, who preceded him in death. On Sept. 26, 1959, he married
Susan L. McGrath, who survives.
Mr. Poor retired in 1989 as an engineering supervisor from Ford Motor Co. Lima Engine Plant, after 33 years. He was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Botkins, and attended the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Zapata, Texas. He was an Army National Guard veteran. He enjoyed repairing and riding motorcycles, collecting guns and building and playing musical instruments.
Survivors also include two sons, Stephen Poor of Wapakoneta and Joseph (Alison) Poor of Upper Arlington; two daughters, Jennifer Poor and Maria Poor, both of Indianapolis; a sister, Patty (Ed) Krogman of Mendon; and four grandchildren, Orion, Kyle, Kelsey and Jackson Poor.
Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 10:30 a.m. Monday at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Botkins. The Rev. Patrick Sloneker will officiate.

HAZEL MARIE RADER, 90, died at 4:55 p.m. Dec. 3, 2003, at Van Wert County Hospital, Van Wert.
Services will begin at 10 a.m. Saturday at Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church, Convoy. The Rev. Janice A. Berthinee will officiate. Burial will be in IOOF cemetery.

RUTH ALICE RAGAN, 81, died at 3:36 a.m. Dec. 4, 2003, at Van Wert County Hospital, Van Wert.
Services will begin at 10:30 a.m. Monday at First Presbyterian Church, Van Wert. The Rev. Edward W. Jillson will officiate. Burial will be at 2:30 p.m. in Byhalia cemetery, Union County.

Ada
SHIRLEY A. RAMSEY, 73, of Troy, formerly of Ada, died at 2:15 a.m. Dec. 3, 2003, at Koester Pavilion, Troy.
She was born April 2, 1930, in Mansfield to Lawrence and Christena Curran Hatchett, who preceded her in death. On Feb. 17, 1952, in Kenton, she married
John F. Ramsey, who died Nov. 5, 2002.
Mrs. Ramsey had been co-owner of the Ada Motel and had been a department manager at Elder-Beerman, Lima. She attended United Methodist Church, Ridgeway, and First Christian Church, Kenton. She had been involved in 4-H in Ridgeway and Ada for several years.
Survivors include two sons, Gary Ramsey of Dola and Douglas (Denise) Ramsey of Ridgeway; three daughters, Carol (Jim) Clever of Croton, Brenda (Daryl) Reck of Covington and Rebecca (Mike) Harkness of Indianapolis; two brothers, Richard (Ardith) Hatchett of Arcadia, Mo., and James (Ada) Hatchett of Shepherdstown, W.Va.; a sister, Marilyn (Jay) Smith of Roswell, N.M.; and seven grandchildren and a great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by a sister, Sharon Brown.
Services will begin at 11 a.m. Saturday at Price Funeral Home, Kenton. The Rev. Lynn Labs will officiate. Burial will be in Ridgeway cemetery.
