RODNEY KAHLE "HOT ROD" SNYDER, 54, of Palm Harbor, Fla., formerly of Lima, died March 21, 2004, in Tallahassee, Fla., of a heart attack.
Services were held in Florida.
Arrangements were by International Gulf Breeze Chapel, Largo, Fla.
Fort Recovery
GEORGE E. SUTTER, 65, died at 11:55 p.m. April 7, 2004, at Mercer County Community Hospital, Coldwater.
He was born May 29, 1938, in Celina to Julius and Erma Harlett Sutter, who preceded him in death.
Mr. Sutter had worked at Loy's Sale Barn, Portland, Ind. He was a member of Mary Help of Christians Catholic Church, Fort Recovery.
Survivors include two brothers, John (Sharon) Sutter Sr. and Fred Sutter, both of Fort Recovery; three sisters, Dorothy (Bill) Lininger of St. Marys, Dianne Gaerke of Troy and Mary Ann (Al) Saam of Cridersville; and several nieces and nephews.
Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 10:30 a.m. Monday at Mary Help of Christians Catholic Church, Fort Recovery. The Rev. Paul Wohlwend will officiate. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
Friends may call from 2 to 5 p.m. Saturday and 9 to 10 a.m. Monday at Brockman & Boeckman Funeral Home, Fort Recovery.
Lafayette
BERTRAM F. URICH, 92, of Bowling Green and formerly of Lafayette, died at 5:40 p.m. April 7, 2004, at Wood County Hospital, Bowling Green.
Graveside services will begin at 2 p.m. today in Lafayette cemetery, Lafayette. The Rev. David Thompson will officiate.
There will be no visitation.
Arrangements are by Chiles & Sons-Laman Funeral Homes, Bluffton.
Lima
STEVEN CRAIG WICKER, 43, of Fremont, Ind., formerly of Lima, died April 2, 2004, in Monterrey, Mexico, while on vacation.
He was born July 24, 1960, in Lima to Melvin and Oma Handshoe Wicker, who preceded him in death. On May 16, 1998, in Butler, Ind., he married
Peggy Shirely, who survives.
Mr. Wicker was a self-employed truck driver. He attended the Fremont Kingdom Hall of Jehovah Witness. He was an avid golfer.
Survivors also include two daughters, Melissa Anthonysamy and Kristen Wicker, both of Fremont, Ind.; a son, Steven Michael Wicker of Fremont, Ind.; three stepchildren, Daniel Dennis and Donald Dennis, both of Butler, Ind., and Alyssa Dennis of Fremont, Ind.; four grandchildren; four brothers, Franklin Nester of Fremont, Ind., Woodrow Wicker and Babe Wicker, both of Houston, and Cloyd Wicker of Butler, Ind.; and two sisters, Judy Stark of Lima and Teresa Kay Waterman of Angola, Ind.
He was preceded in death by two brothers, Melvin Darrell and Bobby Gene Wicker; and a sister, Frieda Joyce Wicker.
Services will begin at 11 a.m. Saturday at Krill Funeral Home, Edon. Burial will be in Powers cemetery, Angola, Ind.
Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.

FRANKLIN WILLIAMS, 69, died at 3:26 p.m. April 8, 2004, at Lima Memorial Hospital.

Columbus Grove
JANICE A. WILSON, 51, died at 8:25 a.m. April 8, 2004, at Heartland Rehabilitation Center, Lakeview.
She was born Nov. 13, 1952, in Lima to Lewis and Marjorie Fry Rockhill, who preceded her in death. She married
Mike Hurst, who died Nov. 13, 2000.
Mrs. Wilson retired as a nurse's aide from Blanchard Valley Regional Health Rehabilitation Center, Findlay. She had also been a cook at the Cookery in Beaverdam. She was a member of First United Methodist Church, Bluffton. She was a graduate of Bluffton High School. She enjoyed bowling at Southgate Lanes, Bluffton.
Survivors include a son, Bradley (Cynthia) Wilson of Waynesfield; a daughter, Robyn Wilson of Rockport; a stepdaughter, Brenda Thompson of Findlay; two sisters, Nelda (Frank) Treglia of Waynesfield and Delores (Norman) Seaders of Ada; and 11 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.
Services will begin at 11 a.m. Saturday at Chiles & Sons-Laman Funeral Homes, Bluffton. The Rev. Dee Wentz will officiate. Burial will be in Rockport cemetery, Rockport.

HUGH FRANKIN BURRIS, 101, died at 1:45 p.m. July 20, 2004, at Lincolnway Nursing Home, Middle Point.
Services will begin at 2 p.m. Saturday at Cowan & Son Funeral Home, Van Wert. The Rev. Timothy Burden will officiate. Burial will be in Woodlawn cemetery, Ohio City.

Lima
EARNEST H. DAVENPORT, 87, of Silver Springs, Md., formerly of Lima, died July 11, 2004, at Holy Cross Hospital, Silver Springs.
He was born April 12, 1917, in Lima to William E. and Emily K. Davenport, who preceded him in death. In 1944, in Detroit, he married
Lucille Rosemond, who died in April 2001.
Mr. Davenport began his career as a public accountant in Michigan following his return from World War II. In 1956, he was awarded a certified public accountant certificate from the state of Michigan, making him the 39th black CPA in the country. He rose to become the managing partner of the accounting firm Austin, Washington and Davenport CPAs, Detroit, and served on the board of directors of the Commonwealth Bank. He moved to Washington, D.C., in 1970, where he was assistant director in the audit division of the Office of Economic Opportunity. He later became the assistant director for the U.S. General Accounting Office for eight years, returning in the late 1980s to the position of assistant director of the financial and general management studies division. After his retirement from the government, he continued to serve the accounting profession as director of the center for accounting education in the school of business and public administration at Howard University, Washington, D.C.
Over the course of his career, he held a number of leadership positions in professional organizations, including president of the Middle Atlantic States Accounting Conference and the D.C. Institute of CPAs; chairman of the Minority Recruitment and Equal Opportunity Committee of the American Institute of CPAs; chairman of the trustee board of Plymouth Congregational United Church of Christ and also chairman of Grand Pole March, Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity Inc. He was a member of Sigma Pi Phi Fraternity (Boule) and the Hellions, all social fraternities.
He received his bachelor's degree from Morris Brown College, Atlanta, and his master's degree in business administration.
Van Wert
JUANITA VIRGINIA EBERLE died at 10:45 p.m. July 20, 2994, at VanCrest Nursing Home, Van Wert.
Services will begin at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Brickner Funeral Home, Van Wert. Burial will be in Ridge cemetery, Middle Point.

WILMA E. JOHNSTON, 91, died at 1:30 p.m. July 21, 2004, at Lost Creek Care Center.
She was born Dec. 31, 1913, in Lima to William Angus and Alice Rebecca Leedy Carroll, who preceded her in death. In 1937, she married
Rodney F. Johnston, who died Dec. 13, 2001.
Mrs. Johnston was a homemaker. She was a member of Elm Street Church of the Bretheren.
Survivors include a daughter, Janet Stinebaugh of Lima; two sons, Jimmy Johnston of California and Roger (Patsy) Johnston of Florida; and 14 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren and a great-great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by a son, Larry Johnston; three brothers, Wade, Jacob and Emmett Carroll; and two sisters, Vernia Rusmisel and Grace St. Johns.
Memorial services will begin at 1 p.m. Monday at Siferd Funeral Homes, Westwood Chapel. The Rev. Susan Richard will officiate. Burial will be the cremains will be in Lewis Grove cemetery.
