Lima
NAOMI J. PARKER, 74, died at 1:10 a.m. Nov. 18, 2004, at Lima Memorial Health System.
She was born Aug. 13, 1930, in Bath Township to Rollie D. and Laura L. Weaver, who preceded her in death. On Aug. 25, 1951, she married
William Parker, who survives.
Mrs. Parker retired as a registered nurse from Lost Creek Care Center. She attended Union Chapel Missionary Church and Mount Tabor Community Church, Chillicothe. She had been a 4-H adviser. She was a 1948 graduate of Shawnee High School and a 1951 graduate of St. Rita's School of Nursing.
Survivors also include four daughters, Pamala Dewey of Florence, Ariz., Elaine (the Rev. Dennis) Garman of Waverly, Patti Parker of Lima and Teresa (Robert) Black of Lafayette; and 13 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by two grandsons; two half brothers, Lester and David Hall; and two half sisters, Virginia Burden and Jane Shelmadine.
Services will begin at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Chiles & Sons-Laman Funeral Homes, Lewis Chapel. Pastor Mark Bayliff will officiate. Burial will be in Memorial Park cemetery.
Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. today and one hour prior to services Saturday at the funeral home.

St. Marys
ALICE PAULUS, 61, died at 6:45 p.m. Nov. 17, 2004, at her residence.
Services will begin at 11 a.m. Monday at Miller Funeral Home, St. Marys. Burial will be in Elm Grove cemetery, St. Marys.
Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
Lima
MERL O. REED, 95, of Alexander City, Ala., formerly of Lima, died Nov. 17, 2004, at Chapman's Healthcare Center in Alexander City.
He was born Aug. 24, 1909, in Noble County to Lauren and Emma Groves Reed, who preceded him in death. He married
Martha McAuby, who preceded him in death. They had been married
56 years. He then married
Hilda Schumacher Roush, who also preceded him in death.
Mr. Reed retired in 1969 from Lima schools, after 26 years. He had served as principal of Lima South High School and Lima Central Junior High School. He had been a teacher and coach for 13 years in Fayette. He was a mathematics teacher at Ohio Northern University, Ada, for World War II veterans. He was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church, Lima. He was a member of Garrett Wykoff Lodge 585 Free & Accepted Masons, the National Council of Mathematics Teachers, the National Association of Secondary School Principals, the National Education Association, the National Retired Teachers Association of Ohio, the Allen County Retired Teachers Association, the Ohio Education Association and the Ohio University Alumni Association. He received his bachelor's degree from Ohio University, his master's degree from Columbia University in New York and completed his post graduate work in school administration at The Ohio State University. He moved to Lima in 1943 and had also lived in Sunset Valley in Dadeville, Ala.
Survivors include two daughters, Nancy (John) Bier of Alexander City, Ala., and Sally Lammus Barnett of Bonita Springs, Fla.; six grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and two stepsons, Dr. Stephen Roush of Lima and Don Roush of Dubuque, Iowa.
He was preceded in death by two sisters, Helen Back and Mary Craig.
Graveside services will be held at a later date in Memorial Park cemetery, Lima.

MARY LOU ROADEN, 65, died at 8:45 a.m. Nov. 18, 2004, at Auglaize Acres Nursing Home, Wapakoneta.
Services will begin at 3 p.m. Sunday at Corbin Funeral Home, Corbin, Ky. Pastor Johnny Jervis will officiate. Burial will be in Corinth cemetery, Corbin.
Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.

GAYLORD H. STEMEN, 87, died at 2:25 p.m. Nov. 18, 2004, at Van Wert Manor Nursing Home.

JOHN S. BAILEY, 89, died at 7:15 a.m. Jan. 13, 2005, at St. Rita's Medical Center.

Elida
WALTER C. "WALT" BILIMEK, 80, of Maud, Texas, formerly of Elida, died Jan. 12, 2005, at his residence, with his niece and her husband by his side.
He was born May 9, 1924, in Elida to Carl and Vada Carman Bilimek, who preceded him in death.
Mr. Bilimek retired in 1982 as a mechanic from American Airlines. He was a member of the American Legion and the Aircraft Owners and Pilots Association. He was a graduate of Elida High School. He received his school graduation certificate for private and commercial pilot license from Brown Airport, Tulsa, Okla. He was a Marine Corps veteran of World War II serving as a corporal. He was stationed in the central and southwest Pacific from February 1943 to October 1944, where he was an aviation and aircraft mechanic.
Survivors include two sisters, Grace Grant of Cridersville and Clara Stemen of Elida; a brother, Joe (Sue) Bilimek of Lima; a niece, Norma (Ray) Bayless of Maud, Texas; two nephews, Robert Bilimek Sr. of Maud, Texas, and Leroy Bilimek of Redwater, Texas; and several other relatives.
He was preceded in death by a sister, Agnes Unland; and two brothers, Charles and George Bilimek.
Services will begin at 1 p.m. Saturday at Chapelwood Funeral Home Chapel, Nash, Texas. Dr. Tim Brown will officiate. Burial will be in the chapel cemetery.

Wapakoneta
CLYDE H. DINGLEDINE, 83, died at 7:30 a.m. Jan. 12, 2005, at his residence.
He was born Sept. 14, 1921, in Logan Township, Auglaize County, to Clarence and Myrtle Rempfer Dingledine, who preceded him in death. On Aug. 15, 1943, he married
Carrie B. Hughes, who survives.
Mr. Dingledine retired in 1976 from the tubing department at Goodyear Tire & Rubber Co., St. Marys, after 36 years. He was a member of Bethlehem Christian Union Church, Buckland. He was a graduate of Buckland High School. He was an Army veteran of World War II serving in the European Theater. He enjoyed working outside, automobiles, animals and history.
Survivors also include a daughter, Carol (Joel) Halladay of Beavercreek; a son, Michael (Toni) Dingledine of Bellbrook; and two grandchildren, Kristin Halladay and Erik Dingledine, both of Columbus.
He was preceded in death by two brothers, Carl and Merlin Dingledine Sr.; and a sister, Ruth Monfort.
Private family services will be held today at Bayliff & Eley Funeral Home, Wapakoneta. Pastors Jeffrey Phail and Carl Miller will officiate. Burial will be in Greenlawn cemetery, Elida.
There will be no visitation.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the memorial fund at Bethlehem Christian Union Church or the Auglaize County Humane Society.
Lima
MARY ANN GRANT, 79, of Idaho Falls, Idaho, formerly of Lima, died Dec. 30, 2004, at her residence.
She was born March 9, 1925, in Wallace, Idaho, to J.B. and Mable V. Viele Hoopengardner, who preceded her in death. On Sept. 23, 1949, in Erie, Pa., she married
Walter L. Grant, who died in February 1987.
Mrs. Grant was a homemaker and had been a department store buyer. She served as a Girl Scout Brownie leader of 13 years. She was a 1943 graduate of Wallace High School, where she was valedictorian. She and her husband lived in Ridley Park, Pa., for four years, then moved to Overland Park, Kan., and then Lima. In 1969, they moved to Idaho Falls, Idaho. She enjoyed crocheting, sewing, puzzles, reading and watching old television shows.
Survivors include five children, Rebecca Pratt of Lima, Geri Scrogham of Boise, Idaho, Lewis Grant and Andrea "Andi" Anderson, both of Idaho Falls, Idaho, and Heather Richardson of Tooele, Utah; and eight grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a son, Bruce Alex Grant.
Memorial services were held Jan. 3, 2005, in Idaho Falls, Idaho.
