JEFF S. LANTZ, 41, died the morning of Jan. 13, 2005, at his residence.
Services will begin at 1:30 p.m. Sunday at Alspach-Gearhart Funeral Home, Van Wert. The Rev. Timothy Burden will officiate. Burial will be in Woodland cemetery, Van Wert.

JOSE E. "JOE" YBARRA died Jan. 9, 2005, at Miami Valley Hospital, Dayton.

FREDERICK D. "FRITZ" RITTER, 81, died at 4:32 p.m. April 25, 2007, at Wapakoneta Manor Nursing Home.
He was born July 30, 1925, in Wapakoneta to William and Cora Presar Ritter, who preceded him in death. On Dec. 11, 1964, he married
Anna Mary Frey, who survives in Wapakoneta.
Mr. Ritter had bee a foreman in construction of large buildings, such as schools and churches, with Peterson Construction Co., Wapakoneta, for several years. He was a life member of St. Paul United Church of Christ, Wapakoneta. He had been a member of the Wapakoneta Senior Citizens, where he enjoyed traveling on several of their sponsored trips, and Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 8445, both in Wapakoneta. He was an Army veteran. He enjoyed his large garden and fishing.
Survivors include a brother, Marion (Jean) Ritter, of Wapakoneta; and two sisters, Regina Ritter and Hilda Ritter, both of Wapakoneta.
He was preceded in death by two brothers, infant Paul and John Ritter; and a sister-in-law, Edna Ritter.
Memorial services will begin at 2 p.m. Saturday at Bayliff & Eley Funeral Home, Wapakoneta. Dr. Alex Gondola and the Rev. Elaine Mikesell will officiate. A private burial will be in Greenlawn cemetery, Wapakoneta.
Friends may call one hour prior to services Saturday at the funeral home.

ESTHER M. SHOWALTER, 92, died at 9:35 p.m. April 25, 2007, at Van Wert Manor Nursing Home, Van Wert.
Services will begin at 2 p.m. Sunday at Alspach-Gearhart Funeral Home & Crematory, Van Wert. The Rev. Paul Miller will officiate. Burial will be in Ridge cemetery, Middle Point.
Friends may call from noon until time of services Sunday at the funeral home.

Cridersville
RUTH L. ULREY, 93, died at 12:40 a.m. April 25, 2007, at Lima Memorial Health System.
She was born Dec. 10, 1913, in Lima to Rolland C. and Nellie A. McGuire McCarty, who preceded her in death. On Dec. 25, 1935, she married
Byron R. Ulrey, who died Aug. 4, 1973.
Mrs. Ulrey had been the cafeteria supervisor at Perry Schools. She was a member of Perry United Methodist Church. She was a charter member of Les Amies Club. She was a 1932 graduate of Lima South High School. She enjoyed sewing.
Survivors include three daughters, Sharon (David) McQuain, of Hendersonville, Tenn., Lynette Patraitis, of Fair Oaks, Calif., and Joan ( Jack, of Troy) Baird, of Cridersville; eight grandchildren, Mark (Dee) McQuain, of Jonesborough, Tenn., Kent (Lauren) McQuain, of Williamsburg, Va., Barry (Karla) McQuain, of Lafayette, Calif., Karen (Tim) Ketzner, of Gallatin, Tenn., Jason Baird, of Tipp City, Jeremy (Cindy) Baird, of Troy, Terri Jenson, of Citrus Heights, Calif., and Kelly (Steve) Santucci, of Folsom, Calif.; 18 great-grandchildren; a nephew, Larry (Beverly) Spees and a niece, Linda Davis.
She was preceded in death by a son-in-law, Chet Patraitis.
Services will begin at 10:30 a.m. Monday at Bayliff & Son Funeral Home, Cridersville. Pastor Kim Miller will officiate. Burial will be in Memorial Park cemetery, Lima.
Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.

Lima
MARY ANN GALLAGHER LIPPINCOTT, 85, of Loveland, formerly of Lima, died April 26, 2007.
She was born Sept. 11, 1921. In 1948, she married
Don Lippincott, who died in 1999.
Mrs. Lippincott retired in 1984, as a manager from Sohio Credit Union, Lima, after 22 years, then worked at Colerain Northwest Credit Union, Cincinnati, for four years. She was a member of Good Shepherd Catholic Church, Montgomery, and its Senior Shepherds and Grief Group. She was a graduate of St. Gerard Catholic High School.
Survivors include a son, Jim (LuAnn) Lippincott; a daughter, Judy (Ray) Lynch; five grandchildren, Jeff Lynch, Jenny Lynch, Joe Lynch, Kelly (Tim) King and David Lippincott; two great-grandchildren, Evan James and Emerson Mary King; and three sisters, Janny Christen, Anne Windau and Pauline Jackson, all of Lima.
She was preceded in death by three brothers and two sisters.
Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 10 a.m. Tuesday at St. Gerard Catholic Church, Lima. Burial will be in Gethsemani cemetery.

ROBERT A. SHEFFIELD Jr., 64, died April 25, 2007, at Lima Memorial Health System.
He was born Aug. 27, 1942, in Lima to Robert A. and Arleen Wava Allemeier Sheffield Sr. His father preceded him in death. His mother survives in Lima. His wife of 44 years, Dorothy Sheffield , survives in Lima. They were married
on March 2, 1963.
Mr. Sheffield was a maintenance supervisor for Ex-Cell-O/Airfoil Textron for almost 30 years and then was a senior maintenance technician at Focus Hope in Michigan for five years. He was a member of American Legion Post 96 and Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 1275. He was an avid golfer, fisherman, woodworker, archer and bowler. He loved working in his garage. The impact he made in our lives will be imprinted on our hearts forever.
Survivors also include two daughters, Diane (Kevin) Boop, of Lima, and Suzie Stewart, of Spencerville; six grandchildren, Crystal Miller, Robert Null, Cole Stewart, Kaitlynne Rose Boop, Cody Lee Boop and Jacob Boop; a great-granddaughter, Layne Mae Miller; three brothers, Thomas "T.J." Sheffield, William Sheffield and David Sheffield, all of Lima; and three sisters, Diane (Ron) Sexton, of Pasadena, Calif., and Nora (Tom) Niblick and Julie Sheffield, both of Decatur, Ind.
There will be no services.

PEARL STEWART, 99, of Columbus, formerly of Lima, died at 3:15 p.m. April 25, 2007, at Summerville at Lakeview Assisted Living, Groveport.

WILLIAM D. JOHNSON, 68, died at 10:35 p.m. April 25, 2007, at St. Rita's Medical Center.
Graveside services will begin at 1 p.m. Wednesday in Memorial Park cemetery, with military rites by Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 1275. Wanda Werking will officiate.
There will be no visitation.
