Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at St. John Catholic Church, Maria Stein.

Kenton
MARIE E. SCHWEMER, 93, died at 10:49 p.m. Jan. 16, 2006, at Hardin Memorial Hospital, Kenton.
She was born Aug. 2, 1912, in Hardin County to John and Estella White Crooks, who preceded her in death.
Mrs. Schwemer had worked at the Hardin County Home for 20 years. She was a member of First Reformed Church, Kenton, and its Women's Missionary Circle.
Survivors include three nieces, Wilma (Wilbur) Willeke of Ada, Bernadine (David) Keller of Belle Center and Estella Jones of Tipton, Ind.
She was preceded in death by two brothers and five sisters.
Graveside services will begin at 1 p.m. Thursday in Grove cemetery, Kenton. The Rev. Thomas Eisenman will officiate.
Friends may call from 10 a.m. until time of services Thursday at Schindewolf-Stevens-Stout Funeral Home, Kenton.
Memorial contributions may be made to First Reformed Church or the Hardin Hills Health Center, Kenton.
Alger
ELWOOD ARNETT, 67, died at 6:15 p.m. Saturday at Lima Memorial Heath System.
He was born on Oct. 5, 1938, in Harrod to Bob Kash and Nellie Risner Arnett Sr., who preceded him in death.
He was married
to Onaville Daniels and they divorced. On May 20, 1968, he married
Nancy Jane Bryant, who survives in Alger.
Mr. Arnett retired from Randall Bearing where he was a machinist for several years. He attended Quickstep Pentecostal Church of God. He was a member of the Army Reserves.
Survivors also include two sons, Darrell Arnett of Lima and Calvin (Tammie) Arnett of Alger; five daughters, Nellie Smith of Lima, Michelle (Kyle) LeMar of Lakeview, Shonda (Michael) Osborn of Alger, Chasity (Jason) Castle of Alger and Juanita Daniels of Kenton; three brothers, Donald (Ethel) Arnett of Alger, Richard (Julie) Arnett of Harrod and Bob Kash (DeAnna) Arnett Jr. of Harrod; 14 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and two stepchildren.
He was preceded in death by a son, David D. Arnett; a granddaughter, Nikencie Castle; and a sister, Olliedean Arnett.
Service will begin at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Quickstep Pentecostal Church of God. Pastor Robert Dye will officiate. Burial will be in Preston cemetery, Alger.
Friends may call 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Hanson Neely Funeral and one hour before the service Wednesday at the church.

Rushmore
FRED BERRY, 82, died at 2:47 p.m. Feb. 18, 2006, at his residence.
He was born July 11, 1923, in Lima to Fred and Velma Cowden Berry, who preceded him in death. On July 16, 1949, he married
Eileen Ramsey, who survives in Rushmore.
Mr. Berry retired from General Dynamics. He joined the Army in 1940 and served for five years. During World War II, he was stationed at Pearl Harbor when it was attacked by Japanese forces on Dec. 7, 1941. He enlisted in the Air Force in 1950 where he served for 16 years. He retired in 1966 with 21 years of active duty. He was a member of Pearl Harbor Survivors and American Legion Post 96, both in Lima, and Fraternal Order of Eagles Aerie 471, Delphos. He was a life member of Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 1275, Lima.
Survivors also include a son, Brad Berry of Ottawa; two daughters, Kathy Meyer of Macon, Ga., and Nancy (Gene) Sprague of Lima; a brother, Tom (Audrey) Berry of Dublin; and five grandchildren, four great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a son, Fred Thomas Berry.
Graveside services will begin at 1 p.m. today in Truro cemetery, Columbus Grove, with military rites.
Memorial contributions may be made to Allen County Hospice or the Ottawa River Church of God, Rimer.

MARY KATHERINE BOROFF, 91, died at 9:30 p.m. Feb. 19, 2006, at Roselawn Manor Nursing Home, Spencerville.

DAVID CAMERON, 36, died Feb. 18, 2006, at St. Rita's Medical Center.
Services will begin at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, St. Marys Branch.

CLARENCE HEIDENESCHER, 85, died Feb. 19, 2006, at his residence.
He was born in Ohio to John and Francis Wieging Heidenescher, who preceded him in death. On Sept. 28, 1946, he married
Velma Wagner, who survives.
Mr. Heidenescher owned and operated Glen-Ann Service & Towing, Ann Arbor, Mich., for several years. He was a member and usher at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church, Ann Arbor, Mich., for several years. He was an Army veteran of World War II.
Survivors also include a son, James Heidenescher; two granddaughters, Heidi (Matt) Mitchell and Holly Costello; four great-grandchildren, Amanda, Sandra, Devin and Carly; a brother, Art Heidenescher; and two sisters, Rita Klinger and Rosie Murray.
He was preceded in death by a grandson, Jason Heidenescher; and a brother.
A memorial Mass will begin at 11 a.m. Thursday at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church, Ann Arbor, Mich.
Friends may call one hour prior to services at the church.

WANDA L. HOLBROOK, 71, died at 11:45 a.m. Feb. 20, 2006, at Lima Memorial Health System.
She was born June 6, 1934, in Knott County, Ky., to Robert and Gladys Smith Mosley, who preceded her in death. She had been married
to George Walti, whom she married
on April 23, 1955. On June 2, 1962, she married
Milton L. "Tuddy" Holbrook, died Nov. 5, 2004.
Mrs. Holbrook was a homemaker. She was a member of Mount Zion Old Regular Baptist Church, McGuffey.
Survivors also include a daughter, Debra (Marlon) Harp of Alger; two grandchildren, Michael (Rachel) Shrider of Rushsylvania and Mellissa Shrider of Alger; three great-grandchildren, Madison Shrider of Alger and Autumn and Jacob Shrider, both of Rushsylvania; two brothers, Simon Mosley of Alger and Hager Mosley of Ada; and two sisters, Minnie (Darrell) Carty of Lakeview and Carol (Russell) Newland of Harrod.
She was preceded in death by a brother, Jack Mosley; and two sisters, Pauline Mosley and Irene Pinks.
Services will begin at 11 a.m. Thursday at Hanson-Neely Funeral Home, Alger. Elder Michael K. Slone will officiate. Burial will be in Preston cemetery, Alger.
