Wapakoneta
SHERYL LYNN COPUS, 42, died at 6:57 a.m. Aug. 12, 2004, at St. Rita's Medical Center.
She was born Jan. 1, 1962, in Lima to James D. and Myra L. Dodds Woten. Her father preceded her in death. Her mother and stepfather, George Aldrich, survive in Wapakoneta. On Feb. 14, 1998, she married
James L. Copus, who survives.
Mrs. Copus was an at home childcare giver. She had been manager of Pizza Hut, Wapakoneta, for 15 years, and at A&W Root Beer, Botkins. She was a member of First English Lutheran Church, Wapakoneta, where she supervised the nursery. She had received the Friends in Education Award from the Wapakoneta City Schools. She was a graduate of Wapakoneta High School and Apollo Career Center, where she served as president of the Office Education Association Chapter. She enjoyed crafts, yard work and children.
Survivors also include a daughter, Alecia Renae Woten of Fairborn; two stepchildren, Lyndsy Copus of Wapakoneta and James L.E. Copus of Waynesfield; her mother-in-law, Sonja Copus of Uniopolis; two brothers, Mark Allen (Maria) Woten of Bellefontaine and Jeffrey Wayne Woten of Hawaii; two sisters, Connie Joan (Larry R.) Fox of Columbus and Stacy Ann (Bill) Alston of Maineville; and three uncles, Gerald Andrew (Cindy) Woten of Celina, Jeffry Paul (Lynn) Woten of Lima and John (Chris) Woten of Big Sky, Mont.
Services will begin at 10:30 a.m. Monday at First English Lutheran Church, Wapakoneta. Pastor Steven Nelson will officiate. Burial will be in Greenlawn cemetery, Wapakoneta.

AZARIA B. FEASER, 8 months, died unexpectedly at 10 a.m. Aug. 13, 2004, at her residence.

South Whitley, Ind.
CLEADIS MULLINS, 72, died at 6:40 a.m. Aug. 12, 2004, at St. Joseph Hospital, Fort Wayne, Ind.
He was born April 28, 1932, in Salyersville, Ky., to Elisha and Fannie Bailey Mullins, who preceded him in death. On Oct. 15, 1951, he married
Gladys Bailey, who survives.
Mr. Mullins retired in 1995 from Bryans, North Manchester, Ind., after 15 years. He had also worked at Nickel Plate Road and Chamberlin Products, South Whitley, Ind., for 19 years. He was a member of First Church of God, South Whitley, Ind. His formative years were spent in Salyersville, Ky. He and his wife had lived in Ohio until 1959, when they moved to Larwill, Ind. In 1964, they moved to South Whitley, Ind.
Survivors also include six children, Carolyn Sue (Charles) Beckman of Leipsic, Ralph Ray (Debbie) Mullins of Salyersville, Ky., C. Kay (Edwin) Sklenar of South Whitley, Ind., Cheryl Ann (Troy) Sword of Jackson, Ky., Kathy Lynn (Thomas) Wheeler of Pierceton, Ind., and Roger Lee (Sheila) Mullins of South Whitley, Ind.; 13 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; a brother, Sammie Mullins of McGuffey; and five sisters, Stella Helton of Alger, Ailene Beckman of Leipsic, Ella Drake of Kenton, Sadie Conley of Wharton and Susie Stewart of Mount Victory.
He was preceded in death by a granddaughter; two brothers, James and Dennis Mullins; two sisters, Nancy England and Rosie Mullins; and a half brother, Willie Mullins.
Services will begin at 10:30 a.m. Monday at Smith & Sons Miller Chapel, South Whitley, Ind. Pastor Nathan Vandergriff will officiate. Burial will be in South Whitley cemetery.

HELEN TURNER, 88, died at 2:55 p.m. Aug. 13, 2004, at Mennonite Memorial Home, Bluffton.

Lima
FOREST WALTZ, 93, died at 5:50 a.m. Aug. 13, 2004, at Cridersville Healthcare Center, Cridersville.
He was born Aug. 31, 1910, in Auglaize County to Dennis Edward and Sarah C. Helminger Waltz, who preceded him in death. On Aug. 9, 1933, he married
Nancy E. Martin, who died Feb. 16, 1996.
Mr. Waltz had worked in several bakeries for 44 years. He retired from Frueh's Bakery, and had worked at Barr Bakery, Corwin's Bakery, Renz's Bakery, Silver Star Bakery and City Bakery, Urbana. He was one of the oldest fiddle players in Ohio.
Survivors include a daughter, Cleta Y. Blue of Lima; a sister, Amanda Borgess of St. Marys; nine grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; 21 great-great-grandchildren; former daughter-in-law, Mary Coleman of Tonto Basin, Ariz.; four stepgrandchildren; and a stepgreat-grandson.
He was preceded in death by a son, Farrol E. Waltz Sr.; two sisters, Cleta Burlett and Lanetta Hager; a grandson, Forest Allen Waltz; and two great-grandchildren, John Paul Waltz and Sondra Diane Young.
Services will begin at 1 p.m. Monday at Chiles & Sons-Laman Funeral Homes, Shawnee Chapel. The Rev. Barbara Dafler will officiate.
Burial will be in Mount Tabor cemetery, near Gutman.

Lima
DAVID SCHMID JONES, 53, of Whitehouse, formerly of Lima, died Nov. 17, 2004.
He was born June 19, 1951, in Toledo to Paul and Joan Schmid Jones, who preceded him in death. His stepmother, Juanita "Rusty" Jones, survives in Napoleon. On April 19, 1975, he married
Mary Beth Cobb, who survives.
Mr. Jones was vice president of operations for Top Line Trucking, Lima. He was a member of the Toledo Trucking Association and the American Civil Liberties Union. He was a mediator for the Better Business Bureau and had served as a councilman for the village of Whitehouse. He was a 1970 graduate of Anthony Wayne High School.
Survivors also include two sons, Ryan David Jones of Perrysburg and Aaron Paul Jones of Whitehouse; a daughter, Angela Kaye Shinaver of Toledo; eight grandchildren; three sisters, Kathy Ruhm of Maumee, Connie Weaner Jones of Sylvania and Barbara Taber of Perrysburg; and a brother, Jeff Jones of Toledo.
He was preceded in death by a brother, John.
Services will begin at 2:30 p.m. Monday at Peinert Funeral Home, Whitehouse.
