EDGAR DALE KRUGH, 84, died Nov. 18, 2004, at his residence.
Services will begin at 1 p.m. Monday at W.H. Dick & Sons Funeral Home, Mendon. The Rev. Dr. Paul Bunnell and Pastor Randy Christian will officiate. Burial will be in Mendon cemetery.

AUDREY M. FISHER LINK, 76, died at 3:05 p.m. Nov. 18, 2004, at St. Rita's Medical Center.
Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 11 a.m. Tuesday at St. Rose Catholic Church. Interment will be in Gethsemani cemetery Mausoleum.

DRAMAYNE WYDELL LYLES, 22, died Nov. 14, 2004.
He was born July 21, 1982, in Lima to David Lee and Lenar Trammell Lyles, who survive in Columbus.
Mr. Lyles was self-employed as a landscaper.
Survivors include six brothers, Demond Lyles of Columbus, Damon Lyles and Devon Lyles, both of Lima, Denzel Lyles of Columbus, Dathan Lyles of Lima and Tavern White of Columbus; four sisters, Davida Lyles of Columbus, Danielle Lyles of Findlay and Deidre Lyles and Darcia Lyles, both of Columbus; a foster sister, Joyce Cook of Columbus; and paternal grandmother, Annie Lee Lyles of Lima.
He was preceded in death by paternal grandfather, Ulysses Lyles; and maternal grandparents, Raymond and Marie Trammel.
Services will begin at 1 p.m. Monday at Grace Church Worldwide Ministries. The Rev. Calvin Murray will deliver the eulogy and Elder Ronald Fails will officiate. Burial will be in Woodlawn cemetery.
Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Sunday at Jones-Clark Funeral Home, where the family will be present from 6 to 8 p.m.

MICHAEL CHRISTOPHER NEARON, 41, died at 2 a.m. Nov. 19, 2004, at his residence.
Services will begin at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Siferd Funeral Homes.

FREDRICK MILO SHAW, 71, of Newport, Tenn., formerly of Wapakoneta, died at 1:05 p.m. Nov. 18, 2004, at Baptist Hospital, Cocke County, Tenn.
Memorial services will begin at 11 a.m. Friday at Uniopolis United Methodist Church, Uniopolis.
Friends may call one hour prior to services Friday in the fellowship hall of the church.
Lima
JAMES R. THOMPSON, 74, died at 12:30 a.m. Nov. 19, 2004, at Springview Manor Nursing Home.
He was born July 8, 1930, in Perrysburg to Charles E. and Marie Printy Thompson, who survives. On Dec. 2, 1950, he married
Nancy M. Halm, who survives.
Mr. Thompson was a licensed optician and provided glasses for many people in Lima. He retired in 1999 from his businesses, Thompson Optical and The Thompson Co., after 38 years. In 1961, he started Lima Optical, after moving from Toledo to Lima. He was a member of St. Charles Catholic Church, where he had been a lay minister, usher, commentator and involved in several youth activities. He was a member of the Opticians Association of America, the Ohio State Licensed Opticians, the State Society National Academy of Opticianry, the Society of Dispensing Opticians of Ohio, the American Board of Opticianry, the Greater Dayton Society of Dispensing Opticians and the Optical Association of Ohio. He was a volunteer and served on the board of the St. Vincent DePaul Society. His proudest association was being a member of the Lima Noon Optimists since 1963, where he had served as president, chairman of the food booth for several years, chairman of the Home Show, was a board member and several other activities through the years. In 1997, he was Optimist of the Year. He was proud of his 41 years of perfect attendance. He attended Toledo University and the Brooklyn School of Optics in New York City. He was a loving husband, father "Pops" and grandfather "Pawpaw", who will be missed. He considered Lima his second hometown. For those who knew him, please celebrate his life.
Survivors also include four sons, Stephen M. (Barbara) Thompson of Columbus, Dr. Jeffrey J. Thompson of Middletown, Mark A. Thompson of Lima and William J. Thompson of Anchorage, Alaska; and eight grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a son, Christopher J. Thompson; a brother, Dr. Charles Thompson; and two sisters, June Tank and
Van Wert
LOUISE MARIE VanCLEAVE, 89, died at 1:10 a.m. Nov. 19, 2004, at her residence.
She was born March 21, 1915, in Mattoon, Ill., to Charles and Mabel Ann Tabor Kirkling, who preceded her in death. On Dec. 24, 1934, she married
James D. VanCleave, who survives.
Mrs. VanCleave was a homemaker and had been a retail clerk. She was a member of Wesley United Methodist Church, Van Wert.
Survivors also include a daughter, Judith A. (William R. "Dick") Knodel of Van Wert; a brother, John R. "Jack" (Pat) Patrick of Alamogordo, N.M.; two daughters-in-law, Linda VanCleave of Kensington and Connie VanCleave of Urbana; eight grandchildren, William Bradley Knodel, Tanya Carlton, James E. VanCleave, Randy VanCleave, Laura Ratterman, Shawna Marquez, Sean VanCleave and Sanje Agrilla; and 14 great-grandchildren, a niece and two nephews.
She was preceded in death by two sons, James Charles VanCleave, who died July 10, 1996, and Stephen W. VanCleave.
Services will begin at 10 a.m. Monday at Cowan & Son Funeral Home, Van Wert. The Rev. Douglas Stockton will officiate. Burial will be in Woodland cemetery, Van Wert.
Friends may call from 2 to 7 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.

BARBARA JEAN BERNHOLD, 62, died at 2:30 p.m. Dec. 8, 2005, at her residence.

Lima
CHARLES H. COSART, 88, died at 2:55 p.m. Dec. 8, 2005, at Lima Memorial Health System.
He was born Aug. 11, 1917, in Allen County to Ora S. and Amanda Snyder Cosart, who preceded him in death. On Aug. 21, 1952, he married
Helen L. Fisher, who died Nov. 4, 2004.
Mr. Cosart had been a supervisor for Agrico Chemical Plant. He was a member of Cairo United Methodist Church, Cairo. He helped establish and worked at Pro's Practice Range from 1988 to 1998.
He was an Army veteran of World War II and an Air Force veteran of the Korean War. He enlisted in the Army in May 1941, and trained as a Ranger at Fort Sam Houston, Texas. When the World War II started he was sent to Camp McCoy, Wis., for ski training. In 1943, he was sent to Great Britain in preparation for the allied invasion of Europe. His unit landed on Omaha Beach at Normandy in June 1944. Six days later, while on patrol, he was knocked out by an artillery shell and eventually captured. He was taken to a prisoner of war camp in Eastern Germany, where he remained until he was liberated in May 1945. After the war, he served in the occupation of Japan. He then enlisted in the Air Force and served as a crew chief on an F84 jet during the Korean War. He was a proud veteran and his family was extremely proud of him. He was awarded two Bronze Stars, the Korean Service Medal, the United Nations Service Medal and the National Defense Medal. He enjoyed sports and was an avid hunter and fisherman.
Survivors include two sons, Dennis (Barb) Cosart and Keith (Jenny) Cosart, both of Lima; a daughter, Karen (Steve) Mansfield of Roaming Shores; two sisters, Betty (Clark) Schwark of Indianapolis and Kate Ward of Lima; and seven grandchildren, Stephanie, Abby, Phillip, Rachel, Kailey, Luke and Grayce.
He was preceded in death by five brothers, John, Fred, Bob, Tom and Harry Cosart; and two sisters, Lucille Crider and Louise Shook.
Services will begin at 1:30 p.m. Monday at Chiles & Sons-Laman Funeral Homes, Lewis Chapel. Pastor Rich Rakay will officiate. Burial will be in Memorial Park cemetery, with military rites by Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 1275.
Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
