Lima
PAUL E. HERMON, 83, died at 6:45 a.m. Jan. 13, 2006, at his residence.
Graveside services will begin at 11 a.m. Tuesday in Greenlawn cemetery, Elida, with military rites by Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 1275. Chaplain Joe F. Humphrey will officiate.
Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home, where arrangements are incomplete.

Celina
ANNA MARIE IRICK, 77, died at 10:30 a.m. Jan. 12, 2006, at Celina Manor Nursing Home.
Services will begin at 2 p.m. today at W.H. Dick & Sons Funeral Home, Celina. Father Richard R. Riedel will officiate. Burial will be in Mendon cemetery, Mendon.
Friends may call from 10 a.m. until time of services today at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Cheryl Ann School, Celina.

Elida
FRANCIS "RAY" JOHN, 89, died at 7:55 p.m. Jan. 12, 2006, at St. Rita's Medical Center.
He was born March 7, 1916, in Allen County to Otis Ray and Frances Swisher John, who preceded him in death. On June 27, 1937, he married Emaline Haller, who survives in Elida.
Mr. John retired as a farmer and as an inspector from Ex-Cell-O Corp. He was a member of Zion United Methodist Church. He was a 50-year member of Hope Masonic Lodge, Delphos, and the Royal & Select Masons. He was a member of the Royal Arch Masons, Ivanhoe Commandery 54, Van Wert, the Order of Eastern Star, Zenobia Shriners and a 32nd degree Mason. He was a life member of the American Motorcycle Association and a charter member of the Motorcycle Club of Lima and the International Airstream Club Auglaize Valley Unit. He was a 1934 graduate of Elida High School, where he played on its first football team.
Survivors also include a daughter, Jo Ann John (Roy) Noggle of Haviland; and six grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren and seven great-great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a son, Gary E. John; a daughter, Carol Rae John; and three brothers, Charles, Fred and George John.
Services will begin at 11 a.m. Monday at Harter & Schier Funeral Home, Delphos. Pastor Deb Frysinger and the Rev. David Howell will officiate. Burial will be in Walnut Grove cemetery, Delphos.
Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home, where a Masonic service will be held at 8 p.m.
Memorial contributions may be made to Zion United Methodist Church or the Hope Masonic Lodge.

Lima
ROBERT R. "PAPA RAY" VAN DYKE Sr., 89, died at 6:25 p.m. Jan. 10, 2006, at Lima Manor Nursing Home.
He was born Oct. 2, 1916, in Belle Center to Clifford and Eunice Exline Van Dyke, who preceded him in death. On Feb. 4, 1937, he married Dora A. Hilderbrand, who died April 9, 1992.
Mr. Van Dyke retired in 1977 as a laborer from Equity Dairies, after 40 years, and had worked at the Lima Tank Depot. He was a member of the Salvation Army for more than 55 years. He was a member of the teamsters union. He had been a member of the Civilian Conservation Corps. He was an Army veteran of World War II.
Survivors include two sons, Kenneth E. Van Dyke of Houston, Texas, and Stephen K. (Aki) Van Dyke of Fall Brook, Calif.; four daughters, Alice M. (Tom) Webb of Lima, Patricia J. (Henry) Jones of Pandora, Linda J. (David) Allen of San Antonio and Vicki G. (Jim) Kohler of Lima; two brothers, Richard Van Dyke of Temple, Texas, and Gerald (Lavina) Van Dyke of Delphos; two sisters, Virginia (Vernon) Stebleton of Lima and Maxine Cope of Claremont, N.H.; and 21 grandchildren, 41 great-grandchildren and 20 great-great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by two sons, Robert R. Jr. and Stanley D. Van Dyke; five brothers, Ronald, Willis, Chesney, Donald and Paul Van Dyke; two sisters, Myrtle Crow and Daisy Rayl; and two grandsons.
Services will begin at 11 a.m. Monday at Chiles & Sons-Laman Funeral Homes, Wayne Street Chapel. Captain Dan English will officiate. Burial will be in Memorial Park cemetery, with military rites by Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 1275.
Friends may call from 2 to 6 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Salvation Army.

Mendon
STANLEY A. "SAM" WATTS, 99, died at 10:30 p.m. Jan. 11, 2006, at Colonial Nursing Center, Rockford.
Services will begin at 10:30 a.m. Monday at W.H. Dick & Sons Funeral Home, Mendon. The Rev. Dr. Paul Bunnell will officiate. Burial will be in Mendon cemetery.
Friends may call from 2 to 6 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.

Lima
SHIRLEY J. WELLBAUM, 70, died at 6:45 a.m. Jan. 12, 2006, at The Ohio State University Medical Center, Columbus.
She was born Nov. 15, 1935, in Lima to Kenneth L. and Mary Todd Gause Sr., who preceded her in death. On June 12, 1953, she married Donald R. Wellbaum, who survives.
Mrs. Wellbaum was a homemaker. She was a 50-year member of Sugar Creek Church of the Brethren. She was a 1953 graduate of Lafayette Jackson High School. She enjoyed crafts, sewing, knitting, shopping and vacations. She also enjoyed and loved her grandchildren.
Survivors also include two sons, Tony B. (Harriet) Wellbaum of Byron, Ill., and Kim R. (Rebecca) Wellbaum of Lima; a daughter, Brenda K. (Chet) Fisher of Lima; two brothers, Kenneth L. Gause Jr. of Lima and Gary Gause of Cridersville; two sisters, Patricia Burkholder of Lima and Judy Seckel of Winterpark, Fla.; six grandchildren, Kelly, Bryan, Kayla, Alexis, Jessica and Josh; a stepgrandson, Michael; and her first great-grandchild is due soon.
She was preceded in death by a sister, Viola May.
Services will begin at 1 p.m. Monday at Chiles & Sons-Laman Funeral Homes, Lewis Chapel. The Rev. Martin Moyer will officiate. Interment will be in the Memorial Park cemetery Mausoleum.
Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.

Waynesfield
MARGARET ANN ZIMMERMAN, 82, died at 3 p.m. April 20, 2006, at Auglaize Acres, Wapakoneta.
She was born Feb. 17, 1924, in Akron, to Elmer John and Harriet Greider Merton. On Oct. 21, 1978, she married Ralph C. Zimmerman, who died June 25, 2000.
Mrs. Zimmerman retired from Teledyne Ohio Steel and was a housewife. She was a University of Akron graduate, where she was valedictorian of her class. She attended Waynesfield United Methodist Church. She loved to ride bicycles, hike and fish.
Survivors include two stepsons, Donald (Rita) Zimmerman and Ronald (Loretta) Zimmerman, both of Waynesfield; a grandson, Nick Warner; six stepgrandchildren Jerry Zimmerman, Vicki Zimmerman, David (Renee) Zimmerman, Renee (Gene) Ewing, Chris Zimmerman, Wendy (LeRoy) Gossard; and 18 stepgreat-grandchildren and two stepgreat-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a son, David Miles; and a sister, Murial Pellegrinni.
Services will begin at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Armentrout Funeral Home, Waynesfield. The Rev. Kathleen Hayes will officiate. Burial will be in Walnut Hill cemetery, New Hampshire.
Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made to Waynesfield United Methodist Church.

Elida
JAMES L. BAME, 63, died at 1:45 p.m. April 21, 2006, at Lima Memorial Health System.
Arrangements are incomplete at Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home.

Lima
SAMUEL "BUBBLE" CAMPBELL, 56, died at 3:38 a.m. April 20, 2006, at Lima Memorial Health System.
He was born Oct. 6, 1949, in Lima to Ezekiel and Alberta Russell Campbell, who preceded him in death. On Aug. 26, 1967, he married Arma J. Chitman, who survives in Lima.
Mr. Campbell retired from General Motors Corp. as a fork lift operator. He was a member of United Auto Workers Local 211, an associate member of Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 1911 and he was also a Mason.
Survivors also include a son, Duane (Sonya) Campbell of Lima; two daughters, Lesley Campbell and Penelope Campbell, both of Lima; five grandchildren; two brothers, Eugene (Barbara) Campbell and Ezekiel (Kimberly) Campbell, both of Lima; two sisters, Connie (Dewey) Taylor and Katy Payne, both of Lima.
He was preceded in death by a son, Corey Campbell; a daughter, Tammy Campbell; and two sisters, Wyrena Freeman and Lula M. Hamilton.
Services will begin at 1 p.m. Monday at Jones-Clark Funeral Home. The Rev. Charles Dupree will officiate.
Friends may call from 10 a.m. until time of services Monday at the funeral home.

Lima
RUTHELLA P. FETZER, 91, died at 10:15 a.m. April 19, 2006, at Morton Plant Hospital, Clearwater, Fla.
She was born Feb. 12, 1915, in Delphos to Benjamin and Minnie Updegraff Bodkin, who preceded her in death. On June 25, 1938, she married Herbert E. Fetzer, who died Feb. 12, 2001.
Mrs. Fetzer retired in 1979 as a sales clerk from Rink's Bargain City. She was a member of Forest Park United Methodist Church. She was a member of the Child Conservation League for more than 25 years.
Survivors include two sons, Larry (Patricia) Fetzer of Lima and James A. (Christine "Tina") Fetzer of Clearwater, Fla.; three grandchildren, Scott (Chris) Fetzer, Kelli (Chris) Art and Amy (Donnie) Chiles; seven great-grandchildren, Denny (Linda) Fetzer, Cory and Mindy Fetzer, Andrew, Rebecca and Peter Art, and Bryce Chiles; and a dear friend, Lois Morrisey of Lima.
She was preceded in death by five brothers, Harold, Fred, Clifford, Donald and Glen Bodkin; and three sisters, Marie Heasley, Irene Miller and Nellie Fought.
Services will begin at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Chiles & Sons-Laman Funeral Homes, Lewis Chapel. Pastor Derek E. Russell will officiate. Burial will be in Walnut Grove cemetery, Delphos.
Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of the donor's choice.
