RONALD LEWIS WALTERS, 63, died at 12:47 a.m. May 5, 2006, following a courageous battle with esophageal cancer.
Services will begin at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at Cowan & Son Funeral Home, Van Wert. The Rev. Raymond E. Feeck will officiate. Burial will be in Woodlawn cemetery, Ohio City.
Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society for the research of esophageal cancer.
Bluffton
THOMAS B. WOLF, 68, died at 5:55 p.m. May 4, 2006, at Blanchard Valley Regional Health Center, Findlay.
Memorial services will begin at 7 p.m. Monday at Bluffton Baptist Church. The Rev. Steve Renfrow will officiate.
Memorial contributions may be made to Bluffton Baptist Church or to the family.

KEVIN L. EBEL, 27, died at 10:40 a.m. May 4, 2006, at his residence.
Services will begin at 10:30 a.m. Monday at Alspach-Gearhart Funeral Home, Van Wert. The Rev. Don Rogers will officiate. Burial will be in Woodland cemetery, Van Wert.

Lima
CARL E. OFFENBACHER, 67, died at 11:15 a.m. Aug. 31, 2006, at Plus Health Care Center.
He was born March 20, 1939, in Lima to Norman and Ilo Scoles Offenbacher. His father and stepmother, Gladys Offenbacher, survive in Lima. His mother preceded him in death.
Mr. Offenbacher was owner/operator of Mobile Movers. He was a member of Unity Church of Lima, where he was vice president of the board of trustees. He was a member of Fraternal Order of Eagles Aerie 370. He was an Army veteran, serving from 1961 to 1963. He enjoyed going to steam shows and bluegrass music concerts.
Survivors also include two brothers, Les (Donna) Offenbacher and Myron (Darlene) Offenbacher, both of Lima; three nieces, Tracy, Bethany and Ann Marie; two nephews, Lee and Jason; five great-nieces and -nephews, Keenan, Emily, Casey, Ethan and Riley; wonderful, caring friends, Randy Pugin and Donna Warnimont; his beloved dog, Scrappie; and several other family members and friends.
Services will begin at 4 p.m. Sunday at Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home. Pastor Beverly Shade will officiate. The body will be cremated following the service.

Delphos
BETTY L. BEINING, 79, died at 12:30 p.m. Aug. 31, 2006, at her residence.
She was born April 16, 1927, in Delphos to Emmett and Emma Warnecke Bockey, who preceded her in death. On May 13, 1950, she married
Raymond M. Beining, who survives in Delphos.
Mrs. Beining was a homemaker. She was a member of St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, Delphos. She had been a volunteer at St. Rita's Medical Center and at the Thrift Shop, Delphos. She loved traveling, baking and spending time with her grandchildren.
Survivors also include five sons, Thomas (Jan) Beining of Grabill, Ind., Ronald (Sandra) Beining and Larry (Norma) Beining, both of Delphos, Dennis (Lisa) Beining of Reddington Shores, Fla., and Alan Beining of Cincinnati; two daughters, Jenny (Bill) Meyer of Lima and Karen (Roger) Veith of Columbus; three sisters, Mary Jane Plescher of Payne, Jeanette (Cyril) Miller of Raleigh, N.C., and Shirley Bockey of Delphos; four brothers, Charles (Mary Lou) Bockey and Ralph (Beverly) Bockey, both of Spencerville, and Donald (Linda) Bockey and Michael (Berta) Bockey, both of Delphos; and 13 grandchildren, three stepgrandchildren and a great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by a sister, Marjorie Bockey.
Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 11 a.m. Monday at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, Delphos. Father Melvin Verhoff will officiate. Burial will be in Resurrection cemetery, Delphos.
Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. today and 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday at Harter & Schier Funeral Home, Delphos, where a parish wake service will be held at 7:30 p.m. Sunday.

GERALD E. BERRY, 84, died Aug. 31, 2006, at his residence.
Services will begin at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Miller-Long & Folk Funeral Home, St. Marys. Burial will be in Elm Grove cemetery, St. Marys, with military rites.

Glandorf
MARIE L. ELLERBROCK, 89, died at 11:39 a.m. Sept. 1, 2006, St. Rita's Medical Center.
She was born Dec. 9, 1916, in New Cleveland to August and Margaret Schroeder Lammers, who preceded her in death. On June 2, 1936, she married
Louis A. Ellerbrock, who died Aug. 29, 1995.
Mrs. Ellerbrock retired as a cook from New Cleveland schools. She was a member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, Glandorf, and its Altar Rosary Society and Catholic Ladies of Columbia, where she had served as president.
Survivors include two sons, Roy (Eileen) Ellerbrock of Ithaca, N.Y., and Gary (Linda) Ellerbrock of New Cleveland; three daughters, Eileen (Roger) Koepp of Dayton, Carol (Stephen) Rieman of Bryan and Ruth (Dennis) Cochran of Batesville, Ind.; 18 grandchildren; 34 great-grandchildren; and a sister, Beatrice Inkrott of Glandorf.
She was preceded in death by three brothers, Thomas, Carl and Paul Lammers.
Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 10:30 a.m. Monday at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, Glandorf. Father Harold Brown will officiate. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
Friends may call from 2 to 8 p.m. Sunday at Love Funeral Home, Ottawa, where a CLC and parish rosary service will be held at 7:30 p.m.

JAMES I. HUNT, 92, died at 8:10 a.m. Sept. 1, 2006, at his residence.

CONNIE JONES, 40, died at 5:57 a.m. Sept. 1, 2006, from injuries suffered in an auto accident on Interstate 75.

Lima
ANDY "DOC" ANDREWS, 76, died at 6:40 p.m. Aug. 31, 2006, at his residence.
He was born May 31, 1930, in Marion. On July 14, 1950, he married
Rita E. Lones, who survives.
Mr. Andrews retired in 1987 as a welder from the Lima Refinery after 38 years. He attended Calvary United Methodist Church, Cridersville, with Pastor Barbara Dafler, and the Saturday night service at Allentown United Methodist Church, with Pastor Neal Whitney. He coached youth baseball and football in Shawnee for several years. In 1968, he was the first recipient of the Golden Indian Award for services to Shawnee schools athletic programs. He was active in the greater Findlay area Emmaus Men's Walks and served on the board of the Lima area Emmaus gatherings. He was a member of Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks Lodge 54. He was a 1948 graduate of Lima South High School. He was a Navy veteran serving aboard the USS Cordoba. He was a 56-year resident of Shawnee. He enjoyed carving wood and fishing. He loved being with his family.
Survivors also include a son, James R. "Tink" (Nancy) Andrews of White Bear Lake, Minn.; a daughter, Kathy K. (Steve) Montgomery of Machesney Park, Ill.; four grandchildren, Jaime (Lance) Arnett of Cumming, Ga., Andy (Jamie) Fell of Mesa, Ariz., and Charlie Andrews and Harrison Andrews, both of White Bear Lake, Minn.; two great-grandchildren, Brady Arnett and Maddie Fell; and several nieces and nephews, which includes a special nephew, Tim Andrews.
He was preceded in death by two brothers, Elmo and Harpo Andrews.
Services will begin at 5 p.m. Sunday at Chiles & Sons-Laman Funeral Homes, Shawnee Chapel. The Revs. Barbara Dafler and Neal Whitney will officiate.
Friends may call from 2 p.m. until time of services Sunday at the funeral home.
