MARVILENE ROSE PARSON HULL, 57, died Feb. 18, 2006, at her residence.
She was born Aug. 1, 1948, in Lima to Thomas and Velda King Parson, who preceded her in death.
Mrs. Hull retired from the offices of J.C. Penney Co. Inc.
Survivors include a daughter, Lisa M. Hull of Toledo; two sons, Brian M. Hull and Timothy L. Hull, both of Lima; and three brothers, Dwight (Cheryl) Parson of Lima, Bill Parson of Texas and Gene Parson of Florida.
Services will begin at 1 p.m. Thursday at Siferd Funeral Home. Burial will be in Woodlawn cemetery.
Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.

Wapakoneta
RICHARD E. "DICK" KAH, 74, died at 6:15 a.m. Feb. 20, 2006, at St. Rita's Medical Center.
He was born July 12, 1931, in Auglaize County to Venard L. and Martha Veit Kah, who preceded him in death. On Oct. 22, 1955, he married
Doris M. Helmlinger, who survives.
Mr. Kah was the third generation co-owner of Kah Meats, Wapakoneta. He was a member of St. Mark Lutheran Church, Clay Township, Auglaize County. He was a member of Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks Lodge 1170, Wapakoneta, where he was a past exalted ruler. He was a member of Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 8445 and Fraternal Order of Eagles Aerie 691, both in Wapakoneta. He was an Army veteran. He was an avid fan of the Wapakoneta High School Redskins. He enjoyed playing cards, gardening and entertaining family and friends at Indian Lake. He and his wife also enjoyed visiting shut-ins and hospital and nursing home patients.
Survivors also include four children, Kris (Jane) Kah, Randall (Lirley) Kah and Susan (Tom) Stinebaugh, all of Wapakoneta, and Sharon (Bruce) Morgenstern of Cheyenne, Wyo.; six grandchildren, Robert and Donald Kah, Brandon, Kaylie and Marcus Morgenstern and Alex Stinebaugh; a brother, David (Jeannie) Kah of Kenton; a sister, Kathleen Roediger of Lima; a brother-in-law, Homer (Cleola) Helmlinger of Wapakoneta; and sister-in-law, Florence Copeland of Jackson Center; and several nieces and nephews.
Services will begin at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at St. Mark Lutheran Church, Clay Township, Auglaize County. The Rev. William Barrett will officiate. Burial will be in Greenlawn cemetery, Wapakoneta.
Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Bayliff & Eley Funeral Home, Wapakoneta, and one hour prior to services Thursday at the church.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Mark Lutheran Church or Tri-County Visiting Nurses & Hospice.
St. Marys
GERALDINE LONGWITH, 91, died at 9 a.m. Feb. 20, 2006, at Valley Nursing Home, St. Marys.
Graveside services will begin at 10 a.m. Thursday in Elm Grove cemetery, St. Marys. The Rev. David Williams will officiate.
Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Miller Funeral Home, St. Marys.

Lima
WILLIAM H. "BILL" MERRITT, 89, died at 12:30 a.m. Feb. 20, 2006, at St. Rita's Medical Center.
Private family graveside services will be held at a later date in Woodlawn cemetery. The Rev. Michael Jenkins will officiate.
There will be no visitation.

Wapakoneta
DAN C. MILLER, 64, died at 4:27 a.m. Feb. 20, 2006, at Lima Memorial Health System.
He was born Aug. 8, 1941, in Lima to Carl and Donna Mae Porter Miller, who preceded him in death.
Mr. Miller was a farmer and had taught music at St. Joseph's Catholic High School, Wapakoneta, and in Sistersville, W.Va. He was a musician playing in several area bands and orchestras, including the Ray Colson Orchestra, the Lima Area Concert Band, the Dixie Land 5, the Auglaize County Concert Band and the pit band for the Waynesfield-Goshen school musicals. He was a 1959 graduate of Waynesfield High School and a 1963 graduate of Ohio Northern University. He attended The Ohio State University from 1968 to 1969, where he took graduate courses in music. He was an accomplished and gifted musician who loved music, especially big band and swing styles.
Survivors include a son, James D. Miller of Wapakoneta; a daughter, Laura (Randall) Ritchie of Wapakoneta; a stepson, Peter Szabo of Ozawkie, Kan.; and two grandchildren, Leana and Joshua Ritchie, both of Wapakoneta.
Services will begin at 1 p.m. Friday at Armentrout Funeral Home, Waynesfield. Scot Caley will officiate. Burial will be in Huntsville cemetery, Huntsville.
Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.

St. Marys
GENE W. "PEE WEE" MOELLER, 60, formerly of New Bremen, died at 10:48 p.m. Feb. 19, 2006, at Joint Township District Memorial Hospital, St. Marys.
He was born July 29, 1945, in Lima to Warren T. and Beverly D. Fischbach Moeller, who preceded him in death.
Mr. Moeller retired as a production worker from Goodyear Tire & Rubber Co., St. Marys. He had been a member of several bowling leagues and was an avid fan of NASCAR and the Pittsburgh Steelers.
Survivors include two sons, Jeffrey Moeller of Minster and Michael Moeller of New Bremen; a daughter, Angela Moeller of Wapakoneta; a sister, Pam (Jim) Elking of St. Marys; and his caregiver and former wife, Diane Moeller of New Bremen.
Services will begin at 11 a.m. Friday at Miller Funeral Home, St. Marys. The Rev. John Tostrick will officiate. Burial will be in Elm Grove cemetery, St. Marys.

Delphos
KENNETH S. SHAW, 87, died at 12:45 p.m. Feb. 19, 2006, at VanCrest Health Care Center, Delphos.
He was born July 19, 1918, in Lima to Salone Shaw and Rose Volbert Shaw Cox, who preceded him in death. On June 1, 1940, he married
Erleyne Backus, who survives in Delphos.
Mr. Shaw retired as an inspector from Clark Equipment, after 44 years. He was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church, where he had served as Sunday school superintendent and on other committees. He was a member of Hope Lodge, where he served as master in 1951 and as secretary for several years, the Order of Eastern Star and was a 32nd degree Mason. He was a member of United Auto Workers Local 106 Retirees and Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 3035, Delphos. He was a volunteer for the museum and the thrift shop. He was an Army veteran of World War II, where he was awarded the Purple Heart, Good Conduct Medal, five Battle Stars, the Victory Medal, the Expert Rifle Badge, the Presidential Citation Badge and the Wreath of Merit.
Survivors also include two daughters, Sharon (Joe) Horstman of Ottoville and Pam (Mike) VanSchoyck of Florida; a sister, Doris (Tom) Schroeder of Florida; six grandchildren, Steve Horstman of Delphos, Richard (Donna) Horstman of Fort Jennings, Bradley (Jennifer) Horstman of Kalida, Kyle (Sarah) VanSchoyck of El Paso, Texas, Kelly (Jamye) Clymer of Virginia Beach, Va., and Christina (Dean) Schwinnen of Delphos; eight great-grandchildren; and a special friend, Dan Fisher.
He was preceded in death by two brothers, Dick and Bernard Shaw.
Services will begin at 11 a.m. Thursday at Harter & Schier Funeral Home, Delphos. The Rev. David Howell will officiate. Burial will be in Walnut Grove cemetery, Delphos, with military rites by the Delphos Veterans Council.
Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday and one hour prior to services Thursday at the funeral home, where a Masonic service will be held on Wednesday.
Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society or Trinity United Methodist Church.
Van Wert
LAWRENCE "BERT" STRETE, 96, died at 11:15 p.m. Feb. 19, 2006, at VanCrest Health Care Center, Van Wert.
Services will begin at 1 p.m. Thursday at Alspach-Gearhart Funeral Home, Van Wert. The Rev. Dr. Edward Jillson will officiate. Burial will be in Woodland cemetery, Van Wert.
