MINNIE VIOLA SUNDERLAND, 79, died at 12:10 a.m. Feb. 19, 2006, at Wapakoneta Manor Nursing Home, Wapakoneta.
She was born Sept. 16, 1926, in Overlea, Baltimore County, Md., to J. Vinton and Wilhelmina G. Melchior Schafer, who preceded her in death. On June 12, 1948, she married
Carl F. Sunderland, who died Feb. 5, 1999.
Mrs. Sunderland retired in 1990, as a registered nurse from Lima Memorial Hospital, after 20 years. She was a member of First United Methodist Church, Wapakoneta. She was a 1944 graduate of Eastern High School for Girls in Maryland and a 1947 graduate of the University of Maryland Hospital School of Nursing, Baltimore, Md., where she was a member of its Nurses Alumnae Association.
Survivors include three sons, Richard A. "Dick" (Bonnie L.) Sunderland of Aloha, Ore., Steven R. (Kim C.) Sunderland of Kettering and Bradley J. (Kedith) Sunderland of Bellefontaine; two daughters, Patricia L. (Jerry) Miller of Columbus, Ind., and Phyllis A. Sunderland of Dayton; two brothers, Russell J. Schafer of St. Petersburg, Fla., and Robert F. (Ann) Schafer of Santa Maria, Calif.; a brother-in-law, Clayton Huddle of Baltimore; two sisters-in-law, E. Shirley Schafer of Cockeysville, Md., and Elsie Schafer of White Hall, Md.; and nine grandchildren and a great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by three brothers, V. Royal, J. William and E. Burton Schafer; and a sister, Alice Huddle.
Services will begin at 2 p.m. Wednesday at First United Methodist Church, Wapakoneta. The Rev. G. Richard Bell will officiate. Burial will be in Greenlawn cemetery, Wapakoneta.
Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. today at Bayliff & Eley Funeral Home, Wapakoneta, and one hour prior to services Wednesday at the church.
Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, First United Methodist Church or the charity of the donor's choice.

WILLIAM LEE TICE, 75, died at 1 p.m. Feb. 19, 2006, at St. Rita's Medical Center.
He was born Nov. 13, 1930, in Lima to Robert and Evelyn Fox Tice, who preceded him in death. On Jan. 13, 1974, he married
Beulah M. Beck, who died April 12, 1999. On Sept. 3, 1999, he married
Norma Jean Whetstone, who survives in Lima.
Mr. Tice retired in 1989, from Ford Motor Co. Lima Engine Plant, after 30 years. He was a member of Auglaize Bible Church. He was a member of Fraternal Order of Eagles Aerie 370 and United Auto Workers Local 1219. He attended Shawnee High School. He was an Army veteran of the Korean War.
Survivors also include five sons, Darrell Tice of Columbus Grove, Terry (Chris) Tice of Holland, Ohio, William (Deb) Tice of Piqua, Scott (Heather) Tice of Nelson, Kan., and Robert (Marilee) Dungan of Lima; four daughters, Connie Tice of Columbus Grove, Paulette (Kenneth) Stemen of Lima, Debbie Plantz of Georgetown, S.C., and Donna Greenlese of McComb; a sister, Dorothy (Farrell "Bud") Bergquist of Kettering; and 26 grandchildren, 42 great-grandchildren and a great-great-grandchild.
He was preceded in death by two brothers, John and Richard Tice; and a grandchild, Landon Ways.
Services will begin at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home. Pastor Gordon Terpening will officiate. Burial will be in Salem cemetery, Westminster.

Lima
PAT RUSS WOODS, 78, died at 10:40 p.m. Feb. 17, 2006, at Shawnee Manor Nursing Home.
She was born on Jan. 29, 1928 in Cleveland to Raymond and Dorothy Barton Russ, who preceded her in death. She married
Dan Woods, who died in 1970.
Mrs. Woods retired as an office manager from Terry & Jack Neon Sign Co., after 40 years. She was a member of the AARP and the Fraternal Order of Eagles Aerie 370. She was an avid rock collector, who polished and cut the rocks in her collection.
Survivors include a son, Ronald (Debbie) Miles of Arlington; three grandchildren, Collin Miles, Ryan Miles and Bridget Miles; and a great-grandchild.
A private burial will be held at a later date.
Memorial contributions may be made to AARP.

MARY ALICE YOUNGS, 77, died at 11:10 p.m. Feb. 19, 2006, at Joint Township District Memorial Hospital, St. Marys.
Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at Church of the Holy Redeemer, New Bremen. The Rev. Thomas Mannebach will officiate. Burial will be in the German Protestant cemetery, New Bremen.
Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Gilberg-Hartwig Funeral Home, New Bremen, and one hour prior to services Thursday at the church.

Scottsdale, Ariz.
LAWRENCE BAILEY, 78, died at 6:27 p.m. Feb. 17, 2006, at Scottsdale Health Care in Scottsdale, Ariz.
He was born Dec. 10, 1927, in Goodlow, Ky., to Grover and Maudie M. Hale Bailey, who preceded him in death. On Oct. 31, 1997, he married
Mary Couch Corn, who survives in Scottsdale, Ariz.
Mr. Bailey attended God's Highway to Heaven Church, Warsaw, Ind. He was a member of the American Legion and Veterans of Foreign Wars, both in Scottsdale, Ariz. He was an Army veteran of the Korean War, serving from 1949 to 1954, where he was held as a prisoner of war for 36 months. He retired with high honors. He lived in Arizona for the last 30 years, moving there from Warsaw, Ind.
Survivors also include a son, Roy Gene Bailey of Lima; three stepsons, Tim Corn of Phoenix, Garrett Corn of Scottsdale, Ariz., and Shawn Corn of Sweetwater, Tenn.; four stepdaughters, Tina Davis of Scottsdale, Ariz., and Angela Corn, Melissa Corn and Martha Weeks, all of Sweetwater, Tenn.; a sister, Ruby Stephens, of Pierceton, Ind.; and two brothers, Russell Bailey and James Edgar Bailey, both of Pierceton, Ind.
He was preceded in death by five brothers, Jack, Lowell, Ralph, Sam Henry and Billy Ray Bailey; and a sister, Maria Bailey.
Services will begin at 1 p.m. Friday at God's Highway to Heaven Church, Warsaw, Ind. The Rev. Bob Brown will officiate. Burial will be in Hillcrest cemetery, Pierceton, Ind., with military rites by American Legion Post 49 and VFW Post 1126.
Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Titus Funeral Home, Warsaw, Ind., and one hour prior to services Friday at the church.

JAMES L. BAME, 63, died at 1:45 p.m. April 21, 2006, at Lima Memorial Health System.

SAMUEL "BUBBLE" CAMPBELL, 56, died at 3:38 a.m. April 20, 2006, at Lima Memorial Health System.
He was born Oct. 6, 1949, in Lima to Ezekiel and Alberta Russell Campbell, who preceded him in death. On Aug. 26, 1967, he married
Arma J. Chitman, who survives in Lima.
Mr. Campbell retired from General Motors Corp. as a fork lift operator. He was a member of United Auto Workers Local 211, an associate member of Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 1911 and he was also a Mason.
Survivors also include a son, Duane (Sonya) Campbell of Lima; two daughters, Lesley Campbell and Penelope Campbell, both of Lima; five grandchildren; two brothers, Eugene (Barbara) Campbell and Ezekiel (Kimberly) Campbell, both of Lima; two sisters, Connie (Dewey) Taylor and Katy Payne, both of Lima.
He was preceded in death by a son, Corey Campbell; a daughter, Tammy Campbell; and two sisters, Wyrena Freeman and Lula M. Hamilton.
Services will begin at 1 p.m. Monday at Jones-Clark Funeral Home. The Rev. Charles Dupree will officiate.

RUTHELLA P. FETZER, 91, died at 10:15 a.m. April 19, 2006, at Morton Plant Hospital, Clearwater, Fla.
She was born Feb. 12, 1915, in Delphos to Benjamin and Minnie Updegraff Bodkin, who preceded her in death. On June 25, 1938, she married
Herbert E. Fetzer, who died Feb. 12, 2001.
Mrs. Fetzer retired in 1979 as a sales clerk from Rink's Bargain City. She was a member of Forest Park United Methodist Church. She was a member of the Child Conservation League for more than 25 years.
Survivors include two sons, Larry (Patricia) Fetzer of Lima and James A. (Christine "Tina") Fetzer of Clearwater, Fla.; three grandchildren, Scott (Chris) Fetzer, Kelli (Chris) Art and Amy (Donnie) Chiles; seven great-grandchildren, Denny (Linda) Fetzer, Cory and Mindy Fetzer, Andrew, Rebecca and Peter Art, and Bryce Chiles; and a dear friend, Lois Morrisey of Lima.
She was preceded in death by five brothers, Harold, Fred, Clifford, Donald and Glen Bodkin; and three sisters, Marie Heasley, Irene Miller and Nellie Fought.
Services will begin at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Chiles & Sons-Laman Funeral Homes, Lewis Chapel. Pastor Derek E. Russell will officiate. Burial will be in Walnut Grove cemetery, Delphos.
