Roundhead
PHILIP R. FRY, 72, died at 5:37 a.m. April 21, 2006, at Lima Memorial Health System.
He was born April 5, 1934, in Hardin County, to Ivan Leon and Ruth Henkle Fry, who preceded him in death. On March 18, 1961, he married Lois Jean Woodruff, who died Oct. 3, 1969. On Nov. 26, 1970, he married Sharon Clementz, who died Sept. 14, 1982.
Mr. Fry worked in maintenance at Ford Motor Co. Lima Engine Plant, retiring in 1992 after 32 years of service. He was a 1952 graduate of Roundhead High School. He was a member of the Bellefontaine Eagles, a volunteer fireman/EMT for the Roundhead Fire Department. He was an Army veteran, serving in the Korean War. He was stationed in Germany.
Survivors include two sons, Jerry Fry and Mark Fry, both of Roundhead; a daughter, Melissa Overs of Roundhead; two brothers, Kent (Carol) Fry of Loveland, Colo., and Paul Fry of Roundhead; a sister, Hazel McGinnis of Roundhead; six grandsons; and several nieces and nephews.
Services will begin at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Eichholtz Funeral Home, Belle Center. Burial will be in Roundhead cemetery.
Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. Monday and one hour prior to services Tuesday at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made to Hardin County Council on Aging.

Lima
LELA "IRENE" HANCE, 89, died at 10:15 p.m. April 19, 2006, at her residence.
She was born Feb. 11, 1917, in Lima, to Rollie and Cora McManas Craig, who preceded her in death. On Sept. 3, 1940, she married Richard D. Hance, who died Dec. 26, 2003.
Mrs. Hance was a homemaker. She was a member of Grace United Methodist Church, where she taught Sunday school. She volunteered at the state prison and was recognized as an outstanding volunteer by Ohio Gov. James Rhodes.
Survivors include two sons, Jerry Dean Hance of Lima and Larry Gene (Patti) Hance of Surfside, S.C.; two daughters, Sandra JaNeen Spiezio and Karen Sue Watkins, both of Lima; and eight grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren and seven great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by five brothers and three sisters.
Services will begin at 2 p.m. Monday at Chiles & Sons-Laman Funeral Homes, Lewis Chapel. Dr. Daniel Curtis will officiate. Burial will be in Gethsemani cemetery.
Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday and one hour prior to services Monday at the funeral home.

Lima
JOHNNIE JOHNSON, 82, died at 5:10 p.m. April 20, 2006, at Lima Memorial Health System.
Arrangements are incomplete at Jones-Clark Funeral Home.

Wapakoneta
JEAN MARC MICHAUD, 46, was found dead April 20, 2006, in Auglaize County.
Arrangements are incomplete at Bayliff & Eley Funeral Home, Wapakoneta.

Lima
HAZEL POWELL, 74, died at 9:40 a.m. April 20, 2006, at St. Rita's Medical Center.
She was born Oct. 28, 1931, in Lima, to Henry J. and Malinda Harris Bratton, who preceded her in death. On March 10, 1947, she married Harry Powell Jr., who died March 9, 2004.
Mrs. Powell was a homemaker and a member of St. John Catholic Church.
Survivors include three children, Michael R. Powell, Sandra Carlene Evans and Shelly Kay Johnson, all of Lima; 12 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren; and a brother, James Bratton of Simi Valley, Calif.
She was preceded in death by a son, Harry Powell III; and two brothers, Ceaser and Henry Bratton.
Services will begin at 1 p.m. Thursday at Cornerstone Harvest Church. Pastor David Roberts will officiate. Burial will be in Memorial Park cemetery.
Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Siferd Funeral Home, Westwood Chapel.
Memorial contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association.

Venedocia
EILEEN E. WAINSCOTT ROBEY, 87, died at 4:30 p.m. April 20, 2006, at Van Wert Manor Nursing Home, following a short illness.
She was born Sept. 23, 1918, in Roanoke, Ind., to James Hoover and Jennie Jones Richardson, who preceded her in death. In 1940, she married William Clifford Wainscott, who preceded her in death. In 1967, she married John F. Robey Jr., who survives.
Mrs. Robey was a homemaker and had worked in sales at the former 3 Sisters Store and J.C. Penney Co., both in Lima. She was a member of Delphos Wesleyan Holiness Church. She enjoyed cooking and baking.
Survivors also include a daughter, Shirley (Ron) Zela of Michigan City, Mich.; four sons, Robert (Maria) Wainscott of Fostoria, Patrick J. (Lois) Wainscott of Elida, and Michael E. (Janina Laity) Wainscott and Dennis L. (Debra) Wainscott, both of Hillsdale, Mich.; six stepchildren, Susan Tidwell of Spencerville, Jim (Becky) Robey of Kossuth, Mark (Sharon) Robey of Spencerville, Ernest Robey of Lima, Tammy (Jim) Sanders of Delphos and Marty Robey, Spencerville; 12 grandchildren; 14 stepgrandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; eight stepgreat-grandsons; a sister, Colleen Wilbur of Huntington, Ind.; a brother, Robert (Ann) Richardson of Huntington, Ind.; and two sisters-in-law, Anna Mae Richardson of Huntington, Ind., and Garnet Richardson of Fort Wayne, Ind.
She was preceded in death by a daughter, Margie Moore; and three brothers, John, Paul and Russell Richardson.
Services will begin at 2 p.m. Monday at Thomas E. Bayliff Funeral Home, Spencerville. The Rev. Wayne Prater will officiate. Burial will be in Spencerville cemetery.
Friends may call from 3 to 6 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.

Celina
JOHNNY J. SQUIRES, 59, died at 12:30 a.m. April 21, 2006, at Celina Manor Nursing Home.
A memorial service will begin at 2 p.m. Sunday at Celina First Baptist Church. The Rev. Ronald Brady will officiate. Burial will be at a later date in Grantsboro Community cemetery in North Carolina.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Cancer Association of Mercer County, P.O. Box 624, Celina, OH 45822-0624.
Arrangements are by Lehman-Hogenkamp-Dzendzel Funeral Home.

Delphos
E. PAT WILLIAMS, 67, died the morning of April 19, 2006, at his residence.
He was born Dec. 22, 1938, in Landeck to Eugene and Mary Katherine Cristle Williams, who preceded him in death. He was previously married to Helen Carroll Williams, who survives in Lima. On May 6, 1992, he married Elizabeth Kraft, who survives in Delphos.
Mr. Williams was a commercial driver license instructor at Vantage Career Center. He retired from Roundy's as a truck driver in the Scot Ladd Division after 30 years. He also taught at the University of Eastern Kentucky. He was a member of St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church in Delphos. He was a member of American Legion Post 268, Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 3035, Fraternal Order of Eagles Aerie 471, all in Delphos, and Teamsters union Local 908. He served in the U.S. Air Force for eight years, stationed in Greece. He also served in the Army Reserve and the Civil Air Patrol. He was a licensed pilot. He enjoyed and loved his children and grandchildren, and he enjoyed collecting coins and camping. He was an avid reader, enjoyed photography and loved to travel.
Survivors also include two sons, Chris Williams of Fort Wayne, Ind., and Andrew (Lisa) Cano of Delphos; four daughters, Angel (Keith) Wagner of Delphos, Joetta (Cliff) Moneer of Grover Hill, Audra (Gary) Gunter of Delphos, and Anita Stewart of Delphos; and nine grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by an infant son, Patrick Williams.
Services will begin at 6 p.m. today at Harter & Schier Funeral Home, Delphos. Interment will be at a later date.
Friends may call from noon to 6 p.m. today at the funeral home, with military rites by the Delphos Veterans Council.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to the family.

Waynesfield
MARGARET ANN ZIMMERMAN, 82, died at 3 p.m. April 20, 2006, at Auglaize Acres, Wapakoneta.
She was born Feb. 17, 1924, in Akron, to Elmer John and Harriet Greider Merton. On Oct. 21, 1978, she married Ralph C. Zimmerman, who died June 25, 2000.
Mrs. Zimmerman retired from Teledyne Ohio Steel and was a housewife. She was a University of Akron graduate, where she was valedictorian of her class. She attended Waynesfield United Methodist Church. She loved to ride bicycles, hike and fish.
Survivors include two stepsons, Donald (Rita) Zimmerman and Ronald (Loretta) Zimmerman, both of Waynesfield; a grandson, Nick Warner; six stepgrandchildren Jerry Zimmerman, Vicki Zimmerman, David (Renee) Zimmerman, Renee (Gene) Ewing, Chris Zimmerman, Wendy (LeRoy) Gossard; and 18 stepgreat-grandchildren and two stepgreat-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a son, David Miles; and a sister, Murial Pellegrinni.
Services will begin at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Armentrout Funeral Home, Waynesfield. The Rev. Kathleen Hayes will officiate. Burial will be in Walnut Hill cemetery, New Hampshire.
Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made to Waynesfield United Methodist Church.
