WILLIAM W. LINK, 90, died at 7:51 p.m. Dec. 9, 2005, at St. Rita's Medical Center, Lima.
He was born June 13, 1915, in Logan Township, Auglaize County, to Ferd G. and Nellie M. Wheeler Link, who preceded him in death. On March 16, 1940, he married
Fern Haverman, who died Aug. 5, 1996.
Mr. Link was a lifelong farmer. He was a member of Buckland United Church of Christ. He had served as an Auglaize County commissioner for 11 years and a Logan Township trustee for 23 years. He was a member of the County Commissioners Association for eight years, a member and past president of the Township Trustees Association and served on the Trustee Legislative Committee for five years.
He was a 60-year member of the Fraternal Order of the Eagles, Aerie 691, and a 60-year member of the Hamer Lodge 167 Free and Accepted Masons. He was also a member of the Wapakoneta Chapter 183, Royal Arch Masons and the Benevolent and Protective Order of the Elks, 1170, both of Wapakoneta. He was a member of the Hawthorne Chapter 119 Order of the Eastern Stars, St. Marys. He was a graduate of the Buckland High School and a member of the Farm Bureau. He was a six-year member of the Buckland Co-op Board of Directors. He had coached the Kossuth Men's softball team for eight years and the Buckland Alumni basketball team for 12 years.
Survivors include two daughters, LuAnna (Allen) Scott and Lorraine (Mark) Ruppert, both of Wapakoneta; a son, Ernest (Freda) Link of Union City, Tenn.; seven grandchildren, Renée Link, Mandy Link, Nicole (Kevin) Bailey, Chad Scott, and Melissa, Abbey and Betsy Ruppert; two great-grandchildren; a close friend, Mary Bowersock of Wapakoneta; a brother, Ferd (Betty) Link of Wapakoneta; and a sister-in-law, Connie Link of Wapakoneta.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Harold Link, and a sister, Imogene Deerhake.
Services will begin at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Bayliff & Eley Funeral Home, Wapakoneta. The Rev. Jeanette Rode Tangeman will officiate. Burial will be in Buckland cemetery.
Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home, where a Masonic memorial service will be 6:30 p.m. and an Eagles memorial service will be 7:15 p.m.

Lima
MICHAEL A. SCHLATMAN, 48, of So Lola, Guatemala, formerly of Lima, died Sept. 18, 2005, in So Lola.
He was born Oct. 7, 1956, to Henry J. and Lilly Mae Clarkson Schlatman, who preceded him in death.
Mr. Schlatman loved to travel the world. During his travels he obtained several degrees, including one in petroleum engineering. He was a Navy veteran, who also assisted the government in ridding the world of terrorists. This was his way of redeeming himself from mistaken choices made in his early adult life. However, there was no greater sacrifice that he paid than to leave his only son.
Survivors include a son, Lowell Schlatman of Lima; a sister; and a brother.
He was preceded in death by an infant sister.
His sister would like to thank relatives and the U.S. Embassy in Guatemala for their assistance in handling her loss.
Memorial contributions may be made to his son at General Delivery, Harrod, OH 45850.
Services and burial were held in Guatemala.
Hamden
JAY ALLEN BOHN, 47, died Feb. 3, 2003, at Holzer Medical Center, Jackson.
He was born May 1, 1955, in Lima to Jackie L. and Mary V. Thines Bohn, who survive. He had been married
to Diane Ficek, who survives.
Mr. Bohn was a volunteer counselor in health recovery for the Veterans Administration. He was a Vietnam veteran of the Navy.
Survivors also include a stepdaughter, Bobbie J. (Ben) Bowles of Hamden; a brother, Scott E. Bohn of Columbus; three sisters, Beverly M. Schiedecker of Troy, Tamara S. (Steve) Steed of Fort Shawnee and Felicia A. (fiance Joe Lawe) Bohn of Lima; and six nephews and nieces.
Services were held Wednesday at Garrett Funeral Home, McArthur. The cremated remains will be scattered.

CARLENE S. CAYWOOD, 58, died at 12:30 a.m. Feb. 8, 2003, at Otterbein Retirement Community, St. Marys.

Ada
ROSS D. EPLEY, 84, died at 1:40 p.m. Feb. 7, 2003, at his daughter's residence in Ada.
He was born Oct. 1, 1918, in Owlseye, Alberta, Canada, to Ray and Grace Stober Epley, who preceded him in death. His mother raised him. On April 19, 1939, he married
Evelyn E. Parshall, who died March 23, 2002.
Mr. Epley had been manager of Lafayette Cooperative Elevator from 1966 to 1983. He was a member of Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 9381 and American Legion Post 185, both in Ada. He and his wife attended the Lincoln Park Friday Night Dances in Lima. He was an Army veteran of World War II, serving as a sergeant in Germany. He made name plates for people that touched his life and also loved woodworking.
Survivors include two sons, James (Dawn) Epley of Ada and Scott (Connie) Epley of Indian Lake; a daughter, Susan (Jon) Umphress of Ada; a daughter-in-law, Sherry Dunson of Ada; two sisters, Iotta Shelly of Kenton and Helen Shepherd of Ada; and 13 grandchildren, four stepgrandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren and eight stepgreat-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a son, Charlie Epley; two brothers, Bernard and Everette Epley; a sister, Ivaleen Urich; and a granddaughter, Jennifer Umphress.
Services will begin at 2 p.m. Monday at Hanson-Neely Funeral Home, Ada. The Rev. David Thompson will officiate. Burial will be in Woodlawn cemetery, Ada, with military rites by VFW Post 9381.
Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. today and until time of services Monday at the funeral home.
