JERRY R. DOWNING Sr., 62, died at 6:26 p.m. Feb. 13, 2004, at St. Rita's Medical Center.
He was born Oct. 8, 1941, in Ada to William Lloyd and Virginia Adams Downing, who preceded him in death. He married
Roberta Harsh, who died June 25, 1993.
Mr. Downing was a laborer and formerly worked at Sheller Globe, Superior Coach Division, General Dynamics, and Clark Equipment Corp., all of Lima, and CENTREX Corp. of Findlay. He was a Navy veteran.
Survivors include two sons, Jerry R. Downing Jr. and William J. (Tammy) Downing, both of Ada; two daughters, Linda (Joey Sr.) Pope and Vickie L. Downing, both of Ada; two brothers, Paul (Millie) Downing of Alger, and LeRoy Downing of Arlington, Va.; two sisters, Mary Ellen Downing of Ada, and Sally (Lonnie) Smith of Bradenton, Fla.; and 13 grandchildren and four great-granddaughters.
He was preceded in death by two brothers, Charles Campbell and Robert Downing.
Services will begin at 1 p.m. Tuesday at Hanson-Neely Funeral Home, Ada. Pastor Thomas Dearth will officiate. Burial will be in Woodlawn cemetery, Ada.
Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Monday and until time of services Tuesday at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Hardin County Cancer Society.
Cridersville
RITA B. FEW, 84, died at 10:50 a.m. Feb. 13, 2004, at Plus Health Care.
She was born Oct. 22, 1919, in Fort Jennings to Ferdinand and Briggeta Bendele Eggeman, who preceded her in death. She married
Lloyd R. Few Sr., who died March 8, 2002.
Mrs. Few was a homemaker and was a member of St. John Catholic Church, Delphos. She was a member of the Wapakoneta Eagles Lodge Auxiliary, the Uniopolis Fire Department Auxiliary and the former Union Center Grange.
Survivors include a stepson, Lloyd R. (Christine) Few Jr. of Lima; a stepdaughter, Kathryn W. "Winnie" Kautz of Castalia; and six grandchildren, and several great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by six brothers, Lawrence, Cletus, Harold, Gregory, Ferdinand and Herbert Eggeman; a sister, Genevie Eggeman; and a stepdaughter, Virginia Stacy.
Private family graveside services will be held at a later date in Fairmount cemetery.
Arrangements were made by Bayliff & Son Funeral Home, Cridersville.

BETTY "JO" VOGT KEYS, 70, died at 4:13 a.m. Feb. 14, 2004, at Van Wert County Hospital.
Services will begin at 7 p.m. Tuesday at Alspach-Gearhart Funeral Home, Van Wert. Burial will be private.
Friends may call from 2 to 7 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.

DAVID ANDREW McMICHAEL, 40, of Redding, Calif., formerly of Lima, died Feb. 6, 2004, in California.
He was born Jan. 20, 1964, to Richard and Peggy McMichael. His father survives in Washington. His mother and stepfather, Michael Krick, survive in Lima.
Mr. McMichael was affiliated with Team Missions Sons of God. He was a member of New Hope Christian Center, Lima, and various churches in California.
Survivors also include two sisters, Elizabeth Ann Dunahay and Kathleen (Scott) Clayton; a brother, Joseph Patrick McMichael; and a stepsister, Stacey (Marc) Gregory.
Services will begin at 3 p.m. Feb. 22 at New Hope Christian Center, 2240 Baty Road, Lima. Pastor James Menke will officiate.

EARNEST SCOTT, 83, died at 12:40 a.m. Feb. 14, 2004.

ARNOLD C. FORD, 89, died at 6:25 p.m. April 9, 2004, at Wapak Manor Nursing Home.
Services will begin at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home. The Rev. Larry Hopkins will officiate. Burial will be in Memorial Park cemetery.
Friends may call from 2 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home, where a Masonic funeral service will be held at 8 p.m., followed by a Scottish Rite Ring service.

Cridersville
LUCILLE E. HAHN, 78, died at 10:55 p.m. April 8, 2004, at Otterbein Nursing Home, Cridersville.
She was born June 3, 1925, in Lima to Harold and Dorothy Trinks Tremaine, who preceded her in death. On March 1, 1958, she married
Howard M. Hahn, who died April 25, 1991.
Mrs. Hahn worked at a Chicago meat market in Lima for many years. She was a homemaker.
Survivors include two sisters, Lynn Beggin of Lima and Helen Ward of Toledo; and a brother, Oliver Tremaine of Providence, R.I.
She was preceded in death by a sister, Kathryn Logan.
Services will begin at 1 p.m. Monday at Mast-Mock-Hoffman Funeral Home, Defiance. The Rev. Dr. Jerry R. Davis will officiate. Burial will be in Riverview Memory Gardens, Defiance.
Friends may call from 6 to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Bluffton
MARTHA C. HAMM, 87, died at 4:20 a.m. April 10, 2004, at Richland Manor, Bluffton. There will be no services. Her body was donated to Wright State University Medical College, Dayton.

Fort Wayne, Ind.
WALTER RAY KILMER, 71, formerly of Lima, died at 1 a.m. April 9, 2004, at Beverly Health Care Center.
He was born April 7, 1933, in Elkhart, Ind., to Clyde Ray and Louise Zion Kilmer, who preceded him in death. He was formerly married
to Barbara Wright Cavinder.
Mr. Kilmer was a pest control exterminator for Arrow Pest Control. He was a Navy veteran.
Survivors include two stepsons, Robert Cavinder of Milwaukee and Timothy Cavinder of Centerville; three stepdaughters, Marcia (Mike) Baxter of Fairborn, Monica (Harold) Hettinger of Fort Wayne, Ind., and Victoria Decker of Lima; a sister, Sue (Mike) Murphy of Fort Wayne, Ind.; and several nieces, nephews and stepgrandchildren.
A memorial service will begin at 1 p.m. Monday at Chiles & Sons-Laman Funeral Homes, Shawnee Chapel.
There will be no visitation.
