Celina
RICHARD S. KING, 87, died at 3:30 a.m. Aug. 14, 2004, at The Gardens, Celina.
He was born Feb. 1, 1917, to Jacob and Flora Kettler King, who preceded him in death. He married Ruth Whiehe, who survives.
Mr. King was co-owner of Heckler Electric. He was a member of Local 32 Electrical Association of Lima.
Survivors also include two daughters, Pamela McClellard and Deborah Duncan, both of Seattle.
He was preceded in death by a son, Steve King.
Services will begin at 4:30 p.m. Tuesday at Cisco Funeral Home, Celina. The Rev. Robert Metheny will officiate.
Friends may call from 2 to 4:30 p.m. Tuesday prior to services.

Lima
CHARLES MULL, 46, of Wichita, Kan., formerly of Lima, died Aug. 12, 2004, in Kansas.
His mother, Pat Patton, survives in Lima.
Mr. Mull was a youth and adult counselor.
Survivors also include a son, Ryan Mull of Wichita, Kan.; a brother, Frank Lee Mull of Lima; and two sisters, Carla Sue Giddens of Lima and Debra Kay Reed of Wooster.
Memorial services will be held at a later date.
Arrangements are by Advantage Funeral & Cremation Services, Wichita, Kan.

Lima
ROBERT L. "BOB" POHLABEL, 55, of Mansfield, formerly of Lima, Shelby and Kansas City, Kan., died at 6:50 a.m. Aug. 12, 2004, at his residence.
He was born Dec. 2, 1948, in Lima to Robert J. and Donna L. Winter Pohlabel, who preceded him in death. He married Joyce Kayser, who survives in Mansfield.
Mr. Pohlabel worked for Sprint Telephone Co. for 35 years in Lima. He was transferred from Lima to the Mansfield office in 1991, making his home in Shelby. In 1999, he was transferred to the corporate staff in Kansas City, Kan., where he and his wife lived until his illness. They then returned to Mansfield so they could be closer to their sons. He was a member of St. Charles Catholic Church.
Survivors also include two sons, Eric (Heather) Pohlabel of Shelby and David (Shannon) Pohlabel of Mansfield; three grandchildren, Caleb L. Good, Nathan Polachek and Micaela Pohlabel; and four sisters, Donna Marie (Don) Smith of Lima, Marilyn Kay (Oliver) Smith of Findlay, Elaine Ann Pohlabel-Anderson of Lafayette, and Mary H. (Bill) Stonehill of Elida.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Cecilia M. Pfenning, who died in 1975.
Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 11 a.m. Monday at St. Charles Catholic Church. Father David Richey will officiate.
Friends may call from 2 to 8 p.m. today at Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home, where a wake service will be held at 8 p.m.
Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of North Central Ohio, 1605 County Road 1095, Ashland, OH 44805.

Lima
JOE E. WIES, 70, died at noon Aug. 14, 2004, at his residence.
Arrangements are incomplete at Chiles & Sons-Laman Funeral Homes, Lewis Chapel.

Wapakoneta
VERDA M. GOODSON BURGER, 87, formerly of Logan, W.Va., died at 5:20 p.m. Nov. 19, 2004, at Lima Memorial Health System.
She was born June 21, 1917, in Grethel, Ky., to Tom and Martha Deal McKinney, who preceded her in death. On July 3, 1934, she married Lloyd E. Goodson, who died July 31, 1955. On Feb. 3, 1961, she married David Burger, who died Oct. 21, 1991.
Mrs. Burger was a homemaker. She was a devoted member of the Christian Victory Tabernacle, Wapakoneta, where she was active in many church activities. She was dearly loved by her family and friends.
Survivors include two sons, Ed (Phyllis) Goodson of Lima and Larry (Retha) Goodson of Mansfield; three daughters, Lou Stech of Sarasota, Fla., and Joyce (Jim) McDonald and Brenda (Bill) Baker, both of Wapakoneta; a stepdaughter, Carolyn Adalian of California; 13 grandchildren, 36 great-grandchildren, four great-great-grandchildren and a stepgrandchild; a brother, Clell (Cleo) of McKinney, Calif.; a sister, Ruth Miller of Chapmanville, W.Va.; and a daughter-in-law, Helen Ruth Goodson of Boswell, Md.
She was preceded in death by a son, Kenneth Goodson; a daughter, Gay Goodson; a grandchild; two brothers, Obra and Herman Lee McKinney; and a sister, June McKinney.
Services will begin at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Christian Victory Tabernacle, Wapakoneta. Burial will follow at Greenlawn cemetery, Wapakoneta.
Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. Monday at Bayliff & Eley Funeral Home, Wapakoneta, and an hour before the service Tuesday at the church.
Memorial contributions may be directed to Christian Victory Tabernacle.

Celina
LEOLA ROSELLA DONER, 83, died at 7:30 a.m. Nov. 19, 2004, at her home.
Services will begin at 11 a.m. Tuesday at St. Paul United Church of Christ, Rockford. The Pastor John Fleming will officiate. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at Ketcham-Ripley Funeral Home, Rockford, and one hour before the service Tuesday at the church.
Memorial contributions may be made to Celina Area Visiting Nurses or St. Paul United Church of Christ.

New Riegel
IRENE B. ELCHERT, 87, died Nov. 18, 2004.
She was born Oct. 11, 1917, in New Riegel to Alphonse and Sarah Gerber Schalk, who preceded her in death. She was also the stepdaughter of Catherine Reinhart Schalk, who also preceded her in death. Her husband, Louis Elchert, preceded her in death.
Survivors include eight sons, Alton (Joanne) Elchert, Ronald G. (Judy) Elchert, Larry (Donna) Elchert, all of Tiffin, Wilbur (Jean) Elchert, Glenn (Sharon) Elchert of Fostoria, and Vern (Donna) Elchert, Howard (Maryann) Elchert, and Russell (Ann) Elchert, all of New Riegel; five daughters, Anita (Joseph) Marovich of Howell, N.J., Dalene (George) Reinhart of Holland, Ohio, Carole Elchert of Findlay, Florence (Robert) Funk of Grand Rapids, Mich., and Theresa (William) Allen of Forest; 36 grandchildren, 41 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild; four brothers, Florus (Viola) Schalk, Art (Shirley) Schalk of Tiffin, Simon (Martha) Schalk of New Riegel, George Schalk of Wisconsin, and Raymond (Anne) Schalk of Findlay; and three sisters, Rita Wurm, Rose (Joe) Smith, and Gervase (William) Craig, all of Tiffin, and Marie Scherger of New Riegel.
She was preceded in death by two sons, Norman and Duane Elchert; a grandson, Rodney Elchert; a great-granddaughter, Olivia Risner; a brother, Bruno Schalk; and a sister, Alice Schalk Nye.
Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at St. Boniface Catholic Church, New Riegel.
Friends may call from 2 to 9 p.m. Monday at Hoffmann-Gottfried-Mack Funeral Home, Tiffin.
Memorial contributions may be made to St. Boniface cemetery Chapel, Bridge Home Health and Hospice of Findlay or the charity of the donor's choice.

Glandorf
ELAINE K. ELLERBROCK, 50, died at 2:45 p.m. Nov. 19, 2004, at her residence.
She was born May 19, 1954, in Lima to Arnold and Teresa Maag Borgelt, who survive in Glandorf. On Aug. 21, 1976, she married Randy Ellerbrock, who survives in Glandorf.
Mrs. Ellerbrock shaped the lives of many young children for 27 years as a kindergarten and elementary school teacher at Ottawa Elementary. She was a member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, Glandorf, and its Altar Rosary Society and Catholic Ladies of Columbia. She was a 1972 graduate of Ottawa-Glandorf High School and a 1976 graduate of Bowling Green State University. She loved gardening, shopping and interior decorating.
Survivors also include a son, Chas Ellerbrock, at home; two daughters, Jessica Ellerbrock of Chicago and Katie Ellerbrock of Cleveland; a brother, Gregory (Alice) Borgelt of Glandorf; and four sisters, Jane Borgelt of Columbus, Nancy (Jeff) Fortman of Columbus Grove, Shirley (Dave) Siefker of Bluffton and Amy (Gerald) Recker of Glandorf.
Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 10:30 a.m. Monday at St. John the Baptist Church, Glandorf. Fathers Harold Brown and Tim Knepper will officiate. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
Friends may call from 2 to 8 p.m. today at Love Funeral Home, Ottawa, where a Scripture service will be at 3 p.m. and rosary by the Altar Rosary Society and Catholic Ladies of Columbia at 7:30 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, Mrs. Ellerbrock wished for donations to be made to the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation, the Ottawa Elementary Educational Fund or Putnam County Hospice.
