FRANKLIN R. BAILEY, 86, died at 5:15 a.m. May 6, 2006, at Beverly Health Care Center.
Memorial services will begin at 4 p.m. Monday at Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home. The Rev. William Cronk will officiate. Burial of the ashes will begin at 11 a.m. Tuesday in Willow Branch cemetery, Waynesfield, with military rites by Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 1275, Lima.

VIRGINIA R. BERRY, 77, died at 8:52 p.m. May 5, 2006, at Colonial Nursing Center, Rockford, where she had been a patient for the past three weeks.
Services will begin at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Ketcham-Ripley Funeral Home, Rockford. Pastor Robert Loar will officiate. Burial will be in Mercer Memory Gardens, Celina.

Wapakoneta
LEONA E. BREWER, 94, died at 2:15 p.m. May 5, 2006, at The Gardens, Wapakoneta.
She was born Aug. 2, 1911, in Moulton, to Henry and Louisa Fledderjohann Detjen, who preceded her in death. On June 20, 1937, she married
Paul F. Brewer, who died Nov. 29, 1987.
Mrs. Brewer was a homemaker. She worked as a bookkeeper with Detjen Grain Co., Moulton. She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Moulton, and served as choir director for 50 years and previously as organist. Her family and music were her loves. She was a member of the Irving Club, Wapakoneta.
Survivors include a son, Jon (Linda) Brewer of Tipp City; a daughter, Jane (Chuck) Kuhlman of Sidney; and two granddaughters, Krista (Tim) Knouff and Karla Kuhlman.
She was preceded in death by a brother, Ferd Detjen; and two sisters, Emma Stroh and Alvina Katter.
Services will begin at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Trinity Lutheran Church, Moulton. The Rev. Joy Miller and the Rev. Dr. David Shugert will officiate. Burial will be in Greenlawn cemetery, Wapakoneta.
Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Bayliff & Eley Funeral Home, state Route 501, Wapakoneta, and one hour prior to services Wednesday at the church.

Lima
RONALD E. CONNER, 82, died at 6:05 a.m. May 6, 2006, at Lima Memorial Health System.
He was born Nov. 18, 1923, in Allen County, to Earl Alfred and Sona Marie Klingler Conner. He married
Ruby Binkley, who survives in Lima.
Mr. Conner retired in 1979 from the Army Modification Center, where he had been a welder. He was a member of Beaverdam Church of Christ and was a life member of Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 1275, Lima. He enjoyed golfing and fishing. He had worked at Hawthorn Hills Golf Club.
Survivors also include a son, Ron (Marsha) Conner of Lima; three daughters, Bonnie (Tom) Hornig of Cridersville, Barbara (Dave Miller) Krites of Kalamazoo, Mich., and Sharon Trotter of Lima; a brother, D. William (Betty) Conners of Toledo; a sister, Elleanor Jenkins of Congress, Ariz.; and seven grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by two grandchildren.
Services will begin at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at Bayliff & Son Funeral Home, Cridersville. Pastor Mike Downey will officiate. Burial will be in St. Matthew cemetery, near Cridersville, with military rites by VFW Post 1275.
Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.

Lima
INEZ FAITH HEFFNER, 82, died at 12:30 a.m. May 6, 2006, at St. Rita's Medical Center.
She was born Dec. 24, 1923, in Lima, to Louis A. and Augusta L. Davis Valli. On Sept. 28, 1946, she married
Donald Heffner, who preceded her in death.
Mrs. Heffner retired in 1988 from Shawnee Elementary School, where she had been a cook. She was a member of Nazarene Church of God in Lakeview and Gardendale Church of God in Lima. She loved her family dearly, was very religious and walked with the Lord all of her life.
Survivors include three sons, Michael J. Heffner of Lima, Bruce A. (Sandy) Heffner of Spencerville and Bill (Linda) Thornberry of Tucson, Ariz.; a sister, Dorothy Ciminillo of Lima; and 10 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a daughter, Sharon L. Brown.
Services will begin at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Siferd Funeral Homes, Westwood Chapel. The Rev. Terry Davies will officiate. Burial will be in Memorial Park cemetery.
Friends may call from 2 to 6 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.

LEWIS L. "LIN" KEYTON, 77, died at 9:55 a.m. April 28, 2006, at Triumph Hospital, Lima.
Graveside services will begin at 2:30 p.m. Tuesday in Dayton National cemetery, with military rites by the Army Honor Guard.
There will be no visitation.

JAMES C. MAYS, 70, died at 8:35 p.m. May 5, 2006, at his residence.
