GEORGE T. "DAVE" DAVIS, 87, formerly of Columbus, died at 2:35 a.m. Sept. 1, 2006, at Auglaize Acres Nursing Home, Wapakoneta.
Memorial services will begin at 10:30 a.m. Monday at Bayliff & Son Funeral Home, Cridersville. The Rev. Gregory Roberts will officiate.
Graveside services for the cremains will begin at 3 p.m. Monday at in Oak Grove cemetery, Morenci, Mich.
Lima
DWIGHT A. DILLER, 67, died at 9:50 a.m. Aug. 31, 2006, at Shawnee Manor.
He was born Aug. 15, 1939, in Elida, to Chester and Ruby Bartrum Diller, who preceded him in death. On Feb. 14, 1968, he married
Margaret L. "Peggy" Kruse, who survives.
Mr. Diller was a motor mechanic at Ford Motor Co. for 37 years, He was a former Lafayette Police Department chief and a member of the Blue Knights law enforcement motorcycle club. He enjoyed motorcycles and camping.
Survivors include two stepdaughters, Cheryl Wireman of Cridersville and Deborah L. Burden of Wichita Falls, Texas; five stepgrandchildren, Lori (Carl) Argetsinger, Jerri Houx, Donald (Monica) Houx, Dwight Plantz and Tonia (Tom) Silone; two sisters, Janet (Jack) Moneer and Judy (Ulysses) Michael, both of Lima; 16 stepgreat-grandchildren; and a stepmother, Ruth Morlock Diller, who raised him.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Duane Diller; and a stepgrandchild, Kevin Plantz.
There will be no services or visitation.

Columbus Grove
JOSEPH W. GILLESPIE, 88, formerly of Bryan and Columbus Grove, died at 10:27 a.m. Sept. 2, 2006, at Mount Carmel Hospital, Columbus.
Services will begin at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Hartman Sons Funeral Home, Columbus Grove. Burial will be in Truro cemetery, Columbus Grove.
Friends may call from noon to 2 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home, where arrangements are incomplete.
West Jefferson
PAMELA M. "PAM" HASKINS, 58, died Sept. 2, 2006, at Kobacker House in Columbus.
She was born Aug. 16, 1948, in Columbus to Arthur and Elizabeth Starbuck, who preceded her in death. On July 22, 1982, she married
Thomas B. "Tom" Haskins, who survives.
Mrs. Haskins was an employee of Farmers and Merchants Bank of Caldwell. She was a member of SS. Simon and Jude Catholic Church of West Jefferson, a board member of Leadership Noble, Caldwell, and a Host volunteer. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and sister.
Survivors also include a daughter, Angie Wippel of Galloway; a son, Denny (Brandi) Wippel of Pickerington; a stepdaughter, Colleen (George) Oldham of Nashville, Tenn.; five grandchildren, Devon, Brent, Derek, Jacob and Patrick; and two brothers, Pat (Sue) Starbuck of Delaware and Tom Starbuck of Columbus.
She was preceded in death by two brothers, Bill and Jim Starbuck.
A Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 10 a.m. Wednesday at SS. Simon and Jude Church. The Rev. Dan Millisor will officiate. Burial will be in Mount Calvary cemetery, West Jefferson.
Friends may call from 3 to 6 p.m. Tuesday at the church.

Lima
JAMES I. HUNT, 92, died at 8:10 a.m. Sept. 1, 2006, at his residence.
He was born April 28, 1914, in Lima to Arthur H. and Gladys Finicle Hunt, who preceded him in death. On May 9, 1941, he married
C. Virginia Williams, who died Jan. 20, 1998.
Mr. Hunt was an attorney and partner with Hunt & Johnson Attorneys at Law. He was admitted to the Ohio Bar on March 17, 1948. He had his own practice from 1948 to 1952. He worked with various law partners through the years. He was a 1932 graduate of Lima Central High School and attended The Ohio State University and Franklin University. He earned his law degree from Ohio Northern University.
He was a life member and past president of the Lima Sertoma Club, and a member and past president of the Allen County Bar Association, the Ohio Bar Association, the Salvation Army Advisory Board, and served many years on the Lima Civil Service board. He was a former member of the Allen County Democratic Executive Committee, past president of the Allen County Young Democrats Club and the Capitol City Young Democrats Club. He received the Salvation Army "Others" Award for unselfish service to others.
He was a major in the U.S. infantry during World War II and earned the Distinguished Service Cross, Bronze Star, Purple Heart with Oak Leaf Cluster, Combat Infantry Badge, and campaign ribbons with six battle stars and a bronze arrowhead.
He was also a member of the Legion of Valor of the USA, American Legion Post 96, Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 1275, the Military Order of the Purple Heart, Disabled American Veterans and the Ohio and American Bar Associations, He was also a member of the Lima Shrine Club, Lodge 205 of the Free and Accepted Masons, and a former member of the Torch Club
He was a member of St. Luke Lutheran Church, and a former member and president of the church council. He enjoyed fishing and was an avid golfer with friends until just a few years ago.
Survivors include a daughter, Amy J. (L. Scott) Hunt Riffle of Cincinnati; a brother, Walter F. Hunt of Sylvania; two grandchildren, Lauren Keturah Riffle and Evan James Riffle; a niece, Jeffrieann Edgell; and a brother-in-law, Philip J. Hall of Lima.
He was preceded in death by two daughters, Sarah H. Hunt and Ruth E. Gienger; a brother, Arthur H. Hunt Jr., who was killed in action in World War II; and a sister, Lola Jane Hall.
Services will begin at 11 a.m. Wednesday at St. Luke Lutheran Church. Pastor Lars Olson and the Rev. Wesley Runk will officiate. Burial will be in Woodlawn cemetery, where military rites will be performed by VFW Post 1275.
Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Chiles & Sons-Laman Funeral Homes, Shawnee Chapel, and 10 to 11 a.m. Wednesday at the church.
Memorial contributions may be made to St. Luke Lutheran Church or St. Rita's Hospice.

CHARLES D. INMON, 56, died at 7:06 a.m. Sept. 2, 2006, at St. Rita's Medical Center.
Services will begin at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Schindewolf Stevens Stout Funeral Home, Kenton. Pastor Don Byard will officiate.
Friends may call from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home, where military rites will be performed by AMVETS Post 1994 honor guard at the funeral home after the service.

CONNIE YVETTE "CON CON" JONES, 40, died at 5:57 a.m. Sept. 1, 2006, in a car accident.
She was born July 31, 1966, in Lima, to Robert O. and Nancy E. Ward Jones. Her father survives in Lima. Her mother, Nancy E. Wilkerson, and stepfather, Charlie Wilkerson, survive in Lima.
Miss Jones was an associate at Honda of America in Anna for 18 years. She was also a consultant for Mary Kay Cosmetics. She was a member of Cornerstone Harvest Church where she was a team captain for Soul Winners and a Moms Club leader. She was also active in Black Achievers. She was a 2006 graduate of University of Northwestern Ohio.
Survivors also include a son, Thomas M. Jones of Lima; a brother, Michael (Carmen) Jones of Lima; four stepbrothers, Charles B. (Pat) Wilkerson Sr., James Wilkerson, Anthony (Brenda) Wilkerson and Kevin (Jennifer) Wilkerson, all of Lima; a sister, Alicia (Gregory Sr.) Anderson of Lima; and two stepsisters, Pamela (Lorin) Coefield of Decatur, Ga., and Patricia Wilkerson of Ellenwood, Ga.
She was preceded in death by a brother, Mark O. Jones; paternal grandparents, Jerry W. Jones II and Mary Jones; and maternal grandfather, Wiley Garner.
Services will begin at 1 p.m. Thursday at Cornerstone Harvest Church. The Rev. David Roberts will officiate. Burial will be in Woodlawn cemetery.
Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Jones-Clark Funeral Home, where the family will be present from 6 to 8 p.m.

LULA P. LAWRENCE, 95, died at 2:46 p.m. Sept. 2, 2006, at her home.
