MABLE I. DUPLER, 85, died at 8:07 a.m. April 19, 2003, at St. Rita's Medical Center.
She was born April 16, 1918, to Ira Victor and Sophia Mae Krick Putman, who preceded her in death. On July 7, 1946, she married
Harry H. Dupler, who died May 12, 1996.
Mrs. Dupler was a food service worker for 15 years at Edison Elementary School in Lima. She was a member of Gardendale Church of God.
Survivors include two daughters, Deborah Dupler of Lima and Cherie Dupler of Swanton; a sister, Rene Stephenson of Lima; five grandchildren, Bethany (Terry) Stout, Barbara (Ed) Taft, Jonathan Brewster, David Brewster and Michael Brewster; and six great-grandchildren, Caleb Stout, Jacob Stout, Joshua Stout, Nicollette Brewster, Elizabeth Taft and Shelby Taft.
She was preceded in death by three brothers, Clifford Putman, Roy Putman and William Putman; and a sister, Bonnie Streets.
Services will begin at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home. The Rev. Terry W. Davy will officiate. Burial will be in Memorial Park cemetery.
Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.

Lima
MONA LOU FARLER, 67, died at 6:17 a.m. April 19, 2003, at Lima Memorial Hospital.
She was born Nov. 19, 1935, in Bellefontaine to LeRoy and Helen Tate McLaughlin, who preceded her in death. On April 12, 1952, she married
Donald E. Farler, who survives in Lima.
Mrs. Farler was a homemaker. She was a member of Full Gospel Temple and its choir. She loved to travel, loved camping and fellowship with her friends. She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother who never met a stranger. She had a passion for life.
Survivors also include six sons, Donald K. (Tami) Farler of Newark, Christopher D. (Kathy) Farler of Chillicothe, Brian E. (Maggie) Farler of Wapakoneta, and D. Scott (Elaine) Farler, James E. Farler and Bill T. Farler, all of Lima; two daughters, Lori (John) Daley and Tonya S. Farler, both of Lima; a brother, Bill (Carolyn) McLaughlin of Columbus; four sisters, Shirley Payne of Springfield, Marilyn (Vernon) Havens of Washington Court House, and Ginny (Dick) Richmond and Jeanie Keller, both of Bellefontaine; 16 grandchildren, one great-grandchild; and several nephews and nieces.
She was preceded in death by a brother, Ed McLaughlin.
Services will begin at 1 p.m. Tuesday at Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home. Joe Compton will officiate. Burial will be in Sugar Creek cemetery, Lima.

DONALD L. GOINGS, 54, died at 9:30 p.m. April 19, 2003, at Parkview Memorial Hospital, Fort Wayne, Ind.
Services will begin at 2 p.m. Wednesday at North Union United Methodist Church, Van Wert. The Rev. James Howell will officiate. Burial will be in Convoy IOOF cemetery.
Friends may call from 2 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Alspach-Gearhart Funeral Home, Van Wert, and one hour prior to services Wednesday at the church.

MARY FLORENE HYMAN, 95, died at 8:40 p.m. April 19, 2003, at Lincolnway Nursing Home.
Services will begin at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Alspach-Gearhart Funeral Home, Van Wert. The Rev. Paul Miller will officiate. Burial will be in Woodland cemetery, Van Wert, with military rites by the combined units of the Van Wert American Legion and Van Wert Veterans of Foreign Wars Post.

GROVERTA GRACE BLONDE McDANIEL, 85, died at 11:40 p.m. April 19, 2003, at Lima Memorial Hospital.

Lima
CARRIE MAE POINT, 95, died at 3:25 a.m. April 19, 2003, at Shawnee Manor Nursing Home.
She was born Nov. 11, 1907, in Rudolph, to James and Mary Warren Keever, who preceded her in death. On Nov. 16, 1962, she married
John J. Point, who died June 2, 1975.
Mrs. Point had worked at Jack's Cafeteria, Star Bakery and Westinghouse Corp. She was a 50-year member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles Aerie 370 Auxiliary, a member and past president of Loyal Order of Moose Auxiliary, and a member of Fraternal Order of Orioles and Senior Citizens.
Survivors include three stepsons; five stepdaughters; a niece whom she raised, Violet Humphrey of Lima; seven grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Wilbur W. Point; a son and daughter-in-law, Paul and Betty Jo Point; two bothers, one sister and a granddaughter.
Services will begin at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Chiles & Sons-Laman Funeral Homes, Shawnee Chapel. The Rev. Larry Hopkins will officiate. Burial will be in Spencerville cemetery.
Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.

Van Wert
R. W. AYRES, M.D., 84, died at 4:45 p.m., Aug. 9, 2003, at Van Wert County Hospital.
Graveside services will begin at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Riverside cemetery, Rockford. The Rev. Edward Jillson will officiate and a military graveside service will be by the Combined Units of the Van Wert American Legion and the Veterans of Foreign Wars Posts.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to The Brumback Library, Van Wert.
Lima
RUSSELL E. BRYAN, 79, died at 10:46 a.m. Aug. 5, 2003, at his residence.
He was born Oct. 16, 1923, in Lima to Edward Bryan and Mable Courtney Bryan. In January 1948, he married
Elda Mae Bielefield, who died in September 1957. On June 14, 1958, in Ohio he married
Mary Lou Stippich, who survives in Lima.
Mr. Bryan was retired as a mail carrier in 1978 from the Lima Post Office. He later worked for the City of Lima in the sewer department in maintenance. He served in the Navy during World War II in the Pacific from Oct. 30, 1942, to March 27, 1946, then served in the Navy Reserves, attaining the rank of chief. He was a member of St. Gerard Catholic Church and the Holy Name Society. He was a member of the Lima Eagles 370, a life member of Lima Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 1275 and the American Legion Post 96.
He was a member of the National Association of Letter Carriers, for which he served as president for 20 years. He was the president emeritus of Branch 105 National Association of Letter Carriers, NARFE-National Association of Retired Federal Employees and The Navy Club.
Survivors also include three sons, David (Margaret "Midge") Bryan of Roy, Utah, John Bryan of Columbus, and Edward (Fawn) Bryan of Chagrin Falls; six daughters, Mary "Buttons" (Dan) Sidener of Azel, Texas, Christine (David "Pete") Daley of Wapakoneta, Karen (Dennis) Purdy of Elida, Kathleen (John) Traina of Perry, Theresa (Bruce) Hoffman of Lima, and Laura (Loren) Moýe of San Francisco; a sister, Joanne Fields of Lima; a sister-in-law, Thelma Bryan of Delphos; a best friend, George McElroy of Lima; and 21 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by three brothers, Paul, Jean and his twin, Richard; and a grandchild, David Purdy.
Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 10 a.m. Tuesday at St. Gerard Catholic Church. The Rev. Henry Sattler will officiate. Burial will be in Gethsemani cemetery in Lima, where a military graveside service will be presented by VFW Post 1275.
Friends may call from 2 to 8 p.m today at Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home, where a Faternal Order of Eagles service will beg at 7:45 p.m and a parish wake service will be at 8 p.m.
