Delphos
FLORENTINE "HONEY" E. COOLEY, 81, died Oct. 22, 2005, at VanCrest HealthCare Center, Delphos.
She was born May 1, 1924, in Putnam County to Henry and JoHanna Brinkman Martin, who preceded her in death. On Feb. 12, 1945, she married
James W. Cooley, who died Jan. 22, 1988.
Mrs. Cooley worked at the Delphos Recreation Center as a waitress. She was a member of the Delphos Eagles, Fraternal Order of Orioles 173, Delphos Senior Citizens and Delphos St. John Catholic Church. She loved bowling.
Survivors include a son, Tom Cooley of Delphos; five daughters, Sue (Wayne) Meeks of Lima, Diane (Paul) Fetzer and Pat (Richard) Patton, both of Delphos, Vicky (Von) Lee of Middle Point and Jodi Cooley (Jamie Joseph) of Delphos; a brother, William (Ruth) Martin of Lima; and 29 grandchildren and 43 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a daughter, Kim Hesseling; a son, Rob Cooley; a grandson, Jason Bockey; a great-grandson, Alexander Munoz; three sisters, Hilda Grothouse, Gertrude Etter and Dorothy Kendall; and three brothers, Leonard, Leo and Walter Martin.
Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at St. John Catholic Church. Father Randy Giesige will officiate. Burial will be in St. John Catholic cemetery.
Friends may call from 1 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Harter & Schier Memorial Chapel, where a parish wake service will be held at 4 p.m.

BERNADINE MARIE "BERNIE" HEIDENESCHER, 87, died at 12:30 p.m. Oct. 22, 2005, at her residence.
Services will begin at 10 a.m. Tuesday at St. Gerard Catholic Church. The Rev. Thomas Lacey will officiate. Burial will be in Memorial Park Mausoleum.
Friends may call from 2 to 8 p.m. Monday at Chamberlain-Huckereide Funeral Home, where a rosary service will be held at 7 p.m. Arrangements are incomplete.

FRED "LEE" LICHTENFELS, 90, died at 2:45 p.m. Oct. 22, 2005, at Lima Convalescent Home.

Lima
EUGEAN E. "GENE" McVICKER, 83, died at 7:16 p.m. Oct. 21, 2005, at his residence.
He was born May 8, 1922, in Fairmont, W.Va., to Darley and Florence Fetter McVicker. On Jan. 6, 1947, he married
Juanita Wicker, who survives.
Mr. McVicker was an Army Veteran of World War II and had retired after 30 years of service as a machinist at R.G. Dunn. He was a life member of Veterans of Foreign War Post 1275 and a member of American Legion Post 96. He was a member of the Eagles Aerie 370, where he was past president, vice president and a three-year trustee. He was a member of the Orioles and the Moose Lodge Chapter 52.
Survivors also include five daughters, Diana (Jim) Wittes of Toledo, Irene (Brad) Pepple and Vera Vaskete, both of Lima, Kathy (Paul) Spangler of Lakeview, and Dovie (Danny) Pellegrini of Lima; two sons: Ed and David McVicker, both of Lima; two daughters-in-law, Joyce McVicker and Diana McVicker, both of Lima; and 22 grandchildren and 30 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by two sons, Richard McVicker and Donald McVicker; a daughter, Marilyn J. "Mickey" Campbell; two infant children, Victor Dale and Janet Marie; four brothers, Herb McVicker, Larry McVicker, Tom McVicker and Jim McVicker; and three sisters, Daisy Boedicker, Grace Hughes and Dorothy Ware.
Services will begin at 1 p.m. Tuesday at Siferd Funeral Home, Westwood Chapel. The Rev. Terry Brock will officiate. Burial will be in Lafayette cemetery, with military rites by VFW Post 1275.
Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Monday and one hour prior to services Tuesday at the funeral home.

Cloverdale
CARMELITA A. SCHNIPKE, 75, died at 6:20 p.m. Oct. 21, 2005, at Paradise Oaks Nursing Home, Cloverdale.
She was born Feb. 1, 1930, in Cloverdale to Bernard and Anna Wolke Averesch, who preceded her in death. On April 27, 1949, she married
Vincent W. Schnipke, who died June 17, 1998.
Mrs. Schnipke was a homemaker. She was a member of St. Barbara Catholic Church, Cloverdale, and its Altar Rosary Society.
Survivors include six sons, Arnold Schnipke and John (Erma) Schnipke, both of Cloverdale, Alphonse (Amy) Schnipke of Columbus Grove, Lavern (Barbara) Schnipke, of Cloverdale, Dennis (Brenda) Schnipke of Ottoville and Vincent (Cheryl) Schnipke of Fort Jennings; four daughters, Mary Jane (Leroy) Wehri of Cloverdale, Rose Ann (Duane) Lammers of Kalida, Patricia (Rodney) Klenz of Cloverdale, and Brenda (Joe) Brown of Columbus Grove; 34 grandchildren; 14 grandchildren; four brothers, Raymond (Dorothy) Averesch and Bernard (Mary Jane) Averesch, both of Kalida, Harold (Sandy) Averesch of Delphos and Ralph (Judy) Averesch of Ottoville; and a sister, Angeline Erhart of Kalida.
She was preceded in death by five grandchildren; and two brothers, Gerald and Wilfred Averesch.
Funeral Mass will begin at 10 a.m. Tuesday at St. Barbara Catholic Church. Father Robert Kill will officiate. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. today and 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at Love Funeral Home, Ottawa, where an Altar Rosary service will be held 7:30 p.m. today and a Scripture service at 7:30 p.m. Monday.

JUDITH L. SPRINGER, 62, died at 4:53 p.m. Oct. 21, 2005, at Lima Memorial Health System.
A memorial service will begin at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Lehman-Hogenkamp-Dzendzel Funeral Home, Celina. The Rev. Steve Clayton will officiate.
Friends may call one hour prior to services Tuesday at the funeral home.

Cridersville
JAMES J. THEDIECK, 77, formerly of Lima, died at 3:20 a.m. Oct. 22, 2005, at Lost Creek Care Center.
He was born April 24, 1928, in Lima to George Francis and Lucille Sheehan Thedieck.
Mr. Thedieck served in the Army from June 10, 1952, to April 24, 1988, retiring as a lieutenant colonel. He had been an educator.
At his request, the body is being donated to the Medical College of Ohio in Toledo for anatomical studies. Cremation will follow, with burial in Punch Bowl National cemetery in Honolulu.
There will be no services or visitation.

VIRGIL L. BEAMER, 83, died at 7:05 p.m. Oct. 23, 2005, at Van Wert County Hospital.
