Van Wert
CARLENE M. SCHULTE, 72, died at noon Dec. 17, 2006, at her residence.
She was born June 5, 1934, in Delphos to Alfred John and Gwendolyn Dunlap Fetzer, who preceded her in death. On Sept. 17, 1955, she married
LeVerne "Vern" Schulte Sr., who survives in Van Wert.
Mrs. Schulte worked as a beautician for a short time. She also worked as a cook for many years at the Orchard Tree and Country Kitchen Restaurant, Van Wert. She was a member of St. Mary of the Assumption Catholic Church, Van Wert. She was a member of the Women of the Moose, Van Wert. She collected porcelain dolls and ceramics. She was a former member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles, Delphos.
Survivors also include eight children, Charles (Bobbi) Schulte, of Middle Point, LeVerne (Mary) Schulte, of Van Wert, Dennis (Vickie) Schulte, of Van Wert, Mark (Cathy) Schulte, of Middle Point, Mary Morris, of Van Wert, Teresa Yoh, of Van Wert, Deborah Schulte, of Venedocia, and Dale (Amy) Schulte, of Van Wert; nine brothers, Kenneth "Wayne" Fetzer, of Spencerville, Orby (Rosie) Fetzer, of Delphos, Philip (Sherry) Fetzer, of Delphos, Paul (Diane) Fetzer, of Delphos, Ronnie (Lynn) Fetzer, of Delphos, William "Woody" (Kathy) Fetzer, of Van Wert, Terry Fetzer, of Wapakoneta, Gary Fetzer, of Wapakoneta, and Herb Fetzer, of Delphos; a sister, Phyllis Burkholder, of Columbus Grove; and 18 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
A Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 10 a.m. Wednesday at St. Mary of the Assumption Catholic Church, Van Wert. The Rev. Charles Obinwa will officiate. Burial will be in Woodland cemetery, Van Wert.
Friends may call from 2 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Alspach-Gearhart Funeral Home where a wake service will begin at 7:45 p.m. Tuesday.

Lima
NATHAN CURTIS TUTTLE, 21, died Dec. 12, 2006, at Hill Air Force Base, Utah.
He was born Feb. 12, 1985, in Lima to John C. and Carol Aldrich Tuttle. His father and stepmother, Linda Moeller Tuttle, survive in Batesville, Ind. His mother died Feb. 22, 1985.
He was a 2004 graduate of Batesville High School where he played football and wrestled. He was a member of the First Baptist Church in Greensburg and was a member of its youth group. He was also a member of Young Life of Batesville. He served in the Air Force from Aug. 10, 2004, to Dec. 12, 2006. He was an F-16 avionics systems apprentice for the 4th Aircraft Maintenance Unit of the 388th Aircraft Maintenance Squadron. He was also a member of the 365th Training Squadron, Tech School. He was awarded the Air Force Training Ribbon, the National Defense Service Medal, the Global War on Terrorism Service Medal, the Air Force Expeditionary Service with the Gold Border and the Iraqi Campaign Medal.
Survivors also include three brothers, Todd Nolan (Traci) Tuttle, of Englewood, Kevin Wayne (Julie) Tuttle, of Lima, and Jerry Eugene (Felice) Tuttle, of Dyess Air Force Base, Texas; a sister, Amy Lynne Shideler, of Toledo; paternal grandmother, Mary Josephine Tuttle, of Lima; maternal grandparents, Harry and Edna Moeller, of Hicksville; four nephews, Curtis Tuttle, Sydney Lewis, Jason Lewis, and Brendan (Jheralyn) Tuttle; and three nieces, Nicole Tuttle, Britany Tuttle, and Tristen Tuttle.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Bruce Allen Tuttle, and paternal grandfather, John Delbert Tuttle.
Services will begin at 7 p.m. today at Weigel Funeral Home in Batesville, Ind., and 2 p.m. Wednesday at Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home, Lima. The Rev. Ronald B. Cannon will officiate. Burial will be in Greenlawn cemetery, Elida.
Friends may call from 3 to 7 p.m. today at Weigel Funeral Home, Batesville, Ind., and from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Wednesday at Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home.

CAROLYN WEIS, 57, died at 3:20 p.m. Dec. 16, 2006, at The Laurels of Shane Hill.
Services will begin at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Lehman-Hogenkamp-Dzendzel Funeral Home, Celina. The Rev. Sandy Slade will officiate. Burial will be in North Grove cemetery, Celina.

ALICE BIRKEMEYER WHITE, 74, died at 1:15 a.m. Dec. 17, 2006, at Hilty Memorial Home, Pandora.

Glandorf
SHIRLEY MARIE GIESKEN, 70, died at 8:06 p.m. Dec. 16, 2006, at St. Rita's Medical center.
She was born Nov. 22, 1936, in Putnam County to Charles and Alma Gmeiner Holtgreven, who preceded her in death. On Jan. 7, 1954, she married
Robert Giesken, who survives in Glandorf.
Mrs. Giesken was an advanced emergency medical technician. She was a founding and active member of the Ottawa Emergency Medical Service where she was a former secretary. She was a member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, Glandorf, and its Altar Rosary Society. She was a past member of the elections board, a cardiopulmonary resuscitation instructor, and a former phlebotomist. She enjoyed gardening, history and spending time with her family. She was an avid Ottawa-Glandorf fan, where she volunteered the ambulance at each sporting event.
Survivors include two sons, Michael Scott (Debra) Giesken, of Berea, and Tom (Patty) Giesken, of Glandorf; two daughters, Jacqueline "Jackie" (Robert "Boz") Luttfring and Roberta "Bobbie" Marie (Matthew) Stechschulte, both of Ottawa; a foster daughter, Cheryl Renninger, of Fremont; nine grandchildren; a great-grandchild on the way; a brother, Charles (Evelyn) Holtgreven Jr., of Findlay; and three sisters, Mary Louise (Thomas) McMillen, of Ottawa, Charlene (Charles) Vaught, of York, Pa., and Alma Jean (Daryl) Franz, of Montpelier.
She was preceded in death by two brothers, Leonard and Jimmy Holtgreven.
A Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, Glandorf. The Rev. Harold Brown will officiate. Burial will be in the church cemetery.

Lima
JOHN C. GOUGH, 89, died at 1:25 p.m. Dec. 14, 2006, at Wapakoneta Manor Nursing Home.
He was born April 18, 1917, in Dillon, S.C., to John Thomas and Maggie Bryant Gough, who preceded him in death. On Dec. 29, 1942, he married
Louise Idell Buckland in California, who died April 1, 2001.
Mr. Gough was a member of New Creation Lutheran Church, Lima. He retired from Range Kleen in 1994, where the annex was named after him. He was a retired accountant from Scots Inn. He loved to golf. He and his wife enjoyed bowling and square dancing. He was active in the Boy Scouts. His sense of humor was enjoyed by all. He served in the Navy from Nov. 15, 1938, to April 16, 1946. He rejoined in 1951 and served 17 more months during the Korean War. The family would like to express thanks and love to the staff, nurses and aides at Wapakoneta Manor for all the tender loving care and concern they gave him.
Survivors include two daughters, Linda Louise Cravatt, of Toledo, and Elizabeth Ann Weitz, of Lima; two sisters, Beatrice Huggins, of Little Rock, Ark., and Ruth E. Burgess, of Hampton, Va.; and three grandchildren, Annie Weitz, Brian Weitz, and Nikki Weitz.
He was preceded in death by three brothers, Roy Jerome Gough, L.H. Gough and Marion Gough; and three sisters, Emma Oveido Gough Gibbs, Vera Gough Herring and Ruby Snipes.
Services will begin at 11 a.m. Thursday at Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home. Pastor Samuel Payne will officiate. Burial of cremains will be later in Shawnee cemetery.
Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.

BASIL LEROY AGLER Sr., 78, died at 12:11 a.m. April 22, 2007, at Van Wert County Hospital.
Services will begin at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Ohio City Church of God. The Rev. Randy Bevington will officiate. Burial will be in Woodlawn cemetery, Ohio City.
Friends may call from 2 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Cowan & Son Funeral Home, Van Wert, and 9:30 to 10:30 Wednesday at the church. A Masonic service will begin at 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.

St. Marys
JAMES "BULLDOG" DRUMMOND, 66, died at 5:15 a.m. April 21, 2007, at Joint Township District Memorial Hospital following an extended illness.
He was born Jan. 23, 1941, in Celina to Willard and Marjorie Drummond. His father preceded him in death. His mother, Marjorie Drummond Goodwin, survives in St. Marys. On Nov. 19, 1976, he married
Anna Huff Slone, who survives in St. Marys.
Mr. Drummond was retired from Mersman Brothers Corp., Celina, after 30 years of service. He was a member of First Wesleyan Church, St. Marys. He was an avid Roughrider and Ohio State University Buckeye fan. He loved camping and traveling to Hocking Hills, where he loved exploring caves with his family. He was a devoted husband, father and grandfather.
Survivors also include seven children, Larry (Edna) Slone, of Wapakoneta, Ronnie (Bonnie) Slone, Terry (Marilyn) Slone, Art (Jan) Slone Jr., all of St. Marys, Duane (Kathy) Drummond, of Goodyear, Ariz., David "P.A." (Tamie) Drummond, of Wapakoneta, and Dawn (Chad) Hennon, of St. Marys; 19 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; a brother, Bill (Paula) Drummond; and a sister, Dorothy Daniels, of St. Marys.
He was preceded in death by a sister, Brenda Richardson.
Services will begin at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Miller Funeral Home, St. Marys. The Rev. Ron Lambert will officiate. Burial will be in Elm Grove cemetery, St. Marys.
