LYMON G. "BIFF" MILLER, 87, formerly of Lima and Cridersville, died at 5:53 p.m. Oct. 5, 2003, at Logan Acres Nursing Home, Bellefontaine.
He was born Nov. 21, 1915, in Auglaize County to John Ellis and Erie Nettie Buffenbarger Miller, who preceded him in death. On May 5, 1947, he married
Clarabelle Wigle, who died Jan. 25, 1994.
Mr. Miller retired from Reichelderfer & Graham Lumber Co., Cridersville. He was also a farmer and a cabinet maker. He was a member of the National Rifle Association and Fraternal Order of Eagles Aerie 3615, Indian Lake.
Survivors include a son, Bernard "Butch" (Connie) Miller of Wapakoneta; two daughters, Velma (Pearl "Diz") Dean of LaRue and Susan (Walter) Peters of DeGraff; and 15 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by four brothers, Virgil, Donald, John and Harry Miller; and five sisters, Mary, Velma and Daisy Miller, Hattie Carter and Gertrude Gross.
Services will begin at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Bayliff & Son Funeral Home, Cridersville. The Rev. Jonathan Spyker will officiate. Burial will be in LaRue cemetery.
Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of the donor's choice.
Deshler
BRENDA J. ROBERTS, 52, died Oct. 3, 2003, at her residence.
She was born Oct. 23, 1950, in Fulton County to Durwood and Thelma Baldwin LeVeck, who preceded her in death. On June 6, 1970, in Rudolph, she married
Curtis Roberts, who survives.
Mrs. Roberts was an accountant for Arthur Anderson and Roger Watson & Associates. She was a member of Field & Stream Bow Hunters Club and ArtSpace/Lima.
Survivors also include a son, Rob (Kathy) Roberts of Deshler; two brothers, Gary LeVeck of North Baltimore and Don (Donna) LeVeck of Florida; seven sisters, Roberta (Dick) Robeson and Josephine "Jo" (Bill) Reidlaw, both of Wauseon, Phyllis (Vern) Warnke of Delta, Pat (Bill) McCance of Deshler, Sandy Whitman of Toledo, Pam LeVeck of North Carolina and Jackie (Mike) Bretsch of Sylvania; her mother-in-law, Ilene Roberts of Perrysburg; and two grandchildren, Kristin and Quentin Tyler Roberts.
She was preceded in death by a brother, Doyle LeVeck; three sisters, Kathy, Verity and Gwen LeVeck; and a grandson, Austin.
Memorial services will begin at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Marsh Funeral Home, Luckey.
There will be no visitation.

Elida
JOAN V. SCHROEDER, 60, of Elida, formerly of Columbus Grove, died at 12:12 p.m. Oct. 4, 2003, at Mary Rutan Hospital, Bellefontaine.
She was born Aug. 30, 1943, in Lima to Cletus and Esther Schmiedebusch Rieman, who preceded her in death. On Feb. 10, 1962, she married
Herbert Schroeder, who survives in Elida.
Mrs. Schroeder was an executive secretary for the Mental Health and Recovery Services Board of Allen County. She attended Lima Community Church of the Nazarene. She and her husband were foster parents to 22 children through S.A.F.Y. of Ohio. She was a 1961 graduate of SS. Peter and Paul School, Ottawa. She was a member of the Indian Lake Women of the Moose. She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother, who loved to travel and spend time at her camper at Indian Lake.
Survivors also include four sons, Phil (Kim) Schroeder and Paul (Jamonah) Schroeder, both of Columbus Grove, Tony (Judi) Schroeder of Wapakoneta, and Mark (Elisa) Schroeder of Alger; three daughters, Mary (Curt) Darbyshire and Linda (David) Ridenour, both of Columbus Grove, and Laura (Shawn) Stutts of Charlotte, N.C.; a brother, William (Diane) Rieman of Ottawa; a sister, Ruth (Donald) Vogler of Canton, Mich.; and 21 grandchildren.
Services will begin at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Hanson-Neely Funeral Home, Ada. The Rev. James Menke will officiate. Burial will be in Truro cemetery, Columbus Grove.
Friends may call from 2 to 8 p.m. today and until the time of services Wednesday at the funeral home.

MARY LOU SHELLABARGER, 74, died at 8:25 p.m. Oct. 5, 2003, at St. Rita's Medical Center.
Services will begin at 10:30 a.m. Friday at Cowan & Son Funeral Home, Van Wert. The Rev. Raymond E. Feeck will officiate. Burial will be in Woodland cemetery, Van Wert.

WAYNE W. SPREHE, 66, died at 5:20 a.m. Oct. 6, 2003, at Hardin Hills Health Center, Kenton.
He was born Jan. 13, 1937, in Caryle, Ill., to Clarence and Amanda Hauskins Sprehe, who preceded him in death. On June 8, 1957, he married
Marge A. Gregson, who survives in Ada.
Mr. Sprehe was owner of Homestead Restaurant, Dunkirk, for 13 years.
Survivors also include three daughters, Brenda (Kirker) Fennell of Arlington, Karen (companion, Jerry Mahan) Reams of Ada and Christine (Aaron) Lawrence of Dunkirk; a stepbrother, Peter Fuentes Jr. of Chicago; two stepsisters, Linda Fuentes and Elvera Flores, both of Chicago; seven grandchildren, Adam Cherne, Corrie Cherne, Levi Fennell, Anthony Reams, Joshua Reams, Ashley Lawrence and Jacob Lawrence; and seven nephews and a niece.
He was preceded in death by a sister, Shirley Ramirez.
Memorial services will begin at 6 p.m. Wednesday at Hanson-Neely Funeral Home, Ada. The Rev. Robert Wood will officiate.

PORTER EDSON FAY STIVERSON, who was born Sept. 13, 2003, died at 8:55 p.m. Oct. 4, 2003, at Miami Valley Hospital in Dayton.

LAURA M. WYZENBEEK USHER, 86, died Oct. 4, 2003, at her residence.
She married
Thomas W. Usher, who preceded her in death.
Survivors include a son, Thomas M. Usher of Lima; a sister, Esther Filken; and a nephew and three nieces.
She was preceded in death by a brother, Andrew Wyzenbeek; and a sister, Ruth Schooley.
Memorial services will begin at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Calvary Chapel, 986 Nordyke Road, Cincinnati.
