RONALD EUGENE WILKINS Sr., 75, died at 8:45 a.m. Jan. 8, 2005, at Joint Township District Memorial Hospital, St. Marys.
Services will begin at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at W.H. Dick & Sons Funeral Home, Celina. Burial will be in St. Mary Catholic cemetery, Celina.
Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday and one hour prior to services Thursday at the funeral home.

Kenton
EARL R. ALLEN SR., 78, died Dec. 10, 2005, at his residence.
Services will begin at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at Schindewolf-Stevens-Stout Funeral Home, Kenton. Burial will be in Woodlawn cemetery, Ada.
Friends may call from 2 to 7 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.

Lima
JOAN K. EILERMAN BLACKWELL, 76, of New Orleans, and formerly of Lima, died Aug. 31, 2005, in Hurricane Katrina.
She was born June 14, 1929, to Albert and Grace McNamara Eilerman, who preceded her in death. Her husband of 32 years, Don Blackwell, survived the hurricane and still lives in New Orleans.
Mrs. Eilerman joined the Sisters of Charity Convent at Mount St. Joseph, Cincinnati, in 1946, at the beginning of her senior year of high school. She graduated in 1947, and worked toward her teaching degree. She taught in several Catholic schools in Michigan and Ohio, including Springfield where she was principal of the grade school. She received a special assignment in 1965, to teach English and French at Villa Nazareth, Rome, which is an all boys junior high academy. She returned to the United State in 1968, and settled in New Orleans. There she taught at a progressive school and worked part-time as a real estate agent. She left the convent in 1970. She became very successful in the real estate business, which had become a new challenge to her. She won several awards as the top sales person and was name the Prudential Realtor of the Year in 2000. She attended St. Gerard and St. Rose schools in Lima. She was the oldest of five girls.
Survivors also include three sisters, Gerry (Thomas J.) Frueh of Lima, Pat (Norman) Snider of Columbus and Carol Ann Eilerman of Kingsport, Tenn.
She was preceded in death by a sister, Mayrose (Tommy) Tompkins, who had lived in Butte, Mont.; and an infant brother, Henry Eilerman.
A memorial Mass will begin at 11 a.m. Saturday at St. Rose Catholic Church.
Bluffton
DORIS E. CRAWFORD, 83, died at 9:45 p.m. Dec. 11, 2005, at Mennonite Memorial Home, Bluffton.
She was born Sept. 9, 1922, in Allen County to William C. and Elizabeth P. Snyder Downing, who preceded her in death. On Sept. 3, 1943, she married
Harold R. Crawford Sr., who died April 29, 1991.
Mrs. Crawford retired from Triplett Corp., Bluffton, after 28 years. She was a member of Lima Baptist Temple, where she had taught Sunday school. She enjoyed quilting, baking and cooking. She was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Her life verse was Isaiah 49:16, "See, I have engraved you on the palms of my hands; your walls are ever before me." Her children would like to thank her for the legacy of godliness and love.
Survivors include three sons, Herold (Linda) Crawford Jr. and David (Maxine) Crawford, both of Columbus Grove, and Arthur Crawford of Elida; a daughter, Nancy (Jim) Spallinger of Columbus Grove; a brother, Alfred Downing of Venedocia; two sisters, Clara Law of Lima and Marie (Don) Landers of Dayton; and 10 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by two brothers, Herbert and Carl Downing.
Services will begin at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Chiles & Sons-Laman Funeral Homes, Bluffton. Chaplain William Herr will officiate. Burial will be in Rockport cemetery, Rockport.
Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.

THE REV. CARL FREDERICK HANSER, 71, of Carbon, Ill., formerly of Gomer, died Dec. 9, 2005, at Edgewood Manor Hospice, Westerville.
Services will begin at 11 a.m. Thursday at St. Paul United Church of Christ, Edwardsville, Ill. Pastor Diane Grohmann will officiate. Burial will be in Valley View cemetery, Edwardsville, Ill.

Spencerville
JOSEPH A. "JOE" HERMAN, 73, died at 11:08 p.m. Dec. 11, 2005, at St. Rita's Medical Center, following a short illness.
He was born Dec. 12, 1931, in Ottoville to Albert "Peck" and Mathilda Theresa "Tillie" Hoersten Herman, who preceded him in death. On June 9, 1956, he married
Marie Kroeger, who survives.
Mr. Herman retired in 2005 as owner/operator of Herman's TV, Spencerville, after 50 years. He was as member of St. Patrick Catholic Church, Spencerville. He was a life member of Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 6772 and American Legion Post 191, both in Spencerville. He was a 1950 graduate of Delphos St. John's High School and attended Coyne Technical College, Chicago. He was an Army veteran serving in Germany during the Korean War.
Survivors also include three daughters, Teresa (Eric) Riffle of Spencerville, Julie Herman of Fort Wayne, Ind., and Bev England of Elida; four grandchildren, Kristen and Matt Riffle of Spencerville and Michael and Aaron England of Elida; a sister, Mary Ann (Al) German of Delphos; two brothers, Leonard (Carole) Herman of Columbus and James (Arlene) Herman of Kettering; a sister-in-law, Pat (Frank) Vasquez of Delphos; and a brother-in-law, Bob (Shirley) Kroeger of Spencerville.
Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at St. Patrick Catholic Church, Spencerville. Father John Fleck will officiate. Burial will be in Spencerville cemetery, with military rites.
Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. today at Thomas E. Bayliff Funeral Home, Spencerville, where a parish wake service will be held at 8 p.m.

Lima
HARRY V. JENNER, 82, died at 9:15 a.m. Dec. 11, 2005, at St. Rita's Medical Center.
He was born Jan. 28, 1923, in Spencerville to Harry "Benjamin" and Ruth Norbeck Jenner, who preceded him in death. On Aug. 7, 1967, he married
Judith Ann Grey, who survives.
Mr. Jenner had been a meter reader foreman for the city of Lima Water Department. He was a member of the Disabled American Veterans. He was an Army veteran of World War II, serving with the 29th Infantry at Omaha Beach. He received the Good Conduct Medal, the American Campaign Medal, the Europe/Africa/Middle East Campaign Medal/with three bronze stars, the World War II Victory Medal and the Presidential Unit Citation.
Survivors include three grandchildren, Todd Jenner, Scott Jenner and Mike Jenner; several great-grandchildren; a daughter-in-law, Brenda Jenner; a brother-in-law, Derek (Marysue) Willeke; and six nieces and nephews, Jim Jenner, Judy (Bob) Job, Ron (Jeanne) Stefanko, Scott (Cathy) Willeke, Lance (Caroline) Willeke and Tracie (Bryan) Schick.
He was preceded in death by his stepfather, Roy Vorhees; two sons, Harry Lee Jenner and an infant; a daughter, Ruth Ann Jenner; and a brother, Jim Jenner.
Services will begin at 11 a.m. Thursday at Chiles & Sons-Laman Funeral Homes, Shawnee Chapel. The Rev. Howard Allison will officiate. Burial will be in Memorial Park cemetery, with Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 1275.

Lima
JAMES F. LAWRENCE, 75, of Coldwater Lake, Mich., formerly of Lima, died at 10:30 a.m. Dec. 9, 2005, at Charlotte Regional Medical Center, Punta Gorda, Fla.
He was born Nov. 4, 1930, in Lima to Lester B. and Ima Keller Lawrence, who preceded him in death. On May 24, 1953, he married
Marilyn J. Leppla, who survives.
Mr. Lawrence retired in 1978 as an electrician and business manager from the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers Local 32. He attended St. Mark United Methodist Church, Lima, a United Methodist Church in Port Charlotte, Fla., and Stokes Chapel in Freemont, Ind. He had served as the Allen County Community Development coordinator until 1991. He was a member of Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks Lodge 54, Fraternal Order of Eagles Aerie 370, American Legion Post 96 and a life member of Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 1275, all in Lima. He was an honorary Kentucky Colonel. He was an Army veteran of the Korean War. He enjoyed woodworking and boating and was an avid golfer and sportsman. He loved spending time with his grandchildren.
Survivors also include a son, Mike E. (Ann) Lawrence of Wapakoneta; a brother, Paul L. (Judy) Lawrence of Elida; and four grandchildren, Jennifer, Christopher, Matthew and Sarah Lawrence.
Services will begin at 11 a.m. Friday at Chiles & Sons-Laman Funeral Homes, Shawnee Chapel. The Rev. Howard Allison will officiate. Burial will be in Woodlawn cemetery, with military rites by VFW Post 1275.
Friends may call from 2 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
