LARRY P. MORGAN, 70, died at 11:25 p.m. Dec. 10, 2005, at St. Rita's Medical Center.
He was born Jan. 27, 1935, in Chicago to Wilson and Bernice Berg Morgan, who preceded him in death. On July 21, 1956, he married
Mary Lou Ruth, who survives.
Mr. Morgan retired in 1994 as a front line supervisor from BP, after 39 years. He was a member of New Creation Lutheran Church. He was a member and had served as a governor, trustee and on the ritual team for the Loyal Order of Moose Lodge 199. He was a member of Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks Lodge 54 and Fraternal Order of Eagles Aerie 370. He was an Army National Guard veteran, serving 13 years. He loved woodworking, his family, his grandchildren and his canine companion, Missy.
Survivors include two sons, Michael (Lynn) Morgan of Powell and Matt (Lisa) Morgan of Lima; three grandchildren, Caitlin Morgan, Gage Morgan and Kellie Morgan; and a daughter-in-law, Sue Morgan of Cincinnati.
He was preceded in death by a son, Phillip Keith Morgan.
Services will begin at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home. Pastor Samuel Payne will officiate. Burial will be in Memorial Park cemetery.
Friends may call from 2 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home, where a LOM service will be held at 7 p.m.

Lima
DAVID W. WALTHER Sr., 48, of Napoleon and formerly of Lima, died Dec. 8, 2005, at Henry County Hospital, Napoleon.
He was born Jan. 29, 1957, in Napoleon to Donald and Dorothy Berger Walther, who preceded him in death. He had been married
to Milagros Castill, who survives in Napoleon. On Nov. 6, 1998, he married
Madeleine Baquero, who survives in Napoleon.
Mr. Walther was a truck driver for Campbell Soup Co., Napoleon, for more than 30 years. He was a member of St. Augustine Catholic Church, Napoleon. He was a life member of AMVETS Post 1313, Napoleon. He was a graduate of Patrick Henry High School. He was a Navy veteran.
Survivors also include two daughters, Cheryl L. Walther of Wauseon and Zeeyah Maelyn Walther of Napoleon; two sons, David W. Walther Jr. and John David Walther, both of Napoleon; a stepson, William Castill of Defiance; four sisters, Donna Marie (Denny) Morris of Deshler, Pamela Martin of Bluffton, Lisa Lambert of Ottawa and Amy (Scott) Schroeder of Fort Jennings; two brothers, Jerry (Deb) Walther of Ayersville and Scott (Connie) Walther of Fort Jennings; and four stepgrandchildren.
Services will begin at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at Walker Mortuary, Napoleon. Father Daniel Borgelt will officiate. Burial will be in Sugar Ridge cemetery, Leipsic.
Friends may call from 2 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home, where a Scripture service will be held at 8:30 p.m.

Lima
RICHARD LEE "DICK" WERKING, 69, died at 4:24 a.m. Dec. 11, 2005, at St. Rita's Medical Center.
He was born July 7, 1936, in Lima to Maynard E. and Margaret Corrello Werking. His father preceded him in death. His mother survives in Lima. On March 15, 1959, he married
Wanda Ellison, who survives.
Mr. Werking retired as a water treatment plant operator for the city of Lima. He was a 1954 graduate of Lima South High School. He was an Army veteran, serving from 1954 to 1956 and had also served in the National Guard from 1956 to 1962. He was an avid outdoor sportsman, especially enjoying fishing and hunting. He loved being with his grandchildren and watching the History and food channels.
Survivors also include three children, Jayne (Tom) Hilvers of Lima, Tim (Karen) Werking of Loveland and Amy Werking of Lima; a sister, Penny (Carl) Bucher of Lima; five grandchildren, Jeffrey Hilvers, Michael Hilvers, Nathan Hilvers, Adam Werking and Erin Werking; two nephews, Bob Bucher and John (Britton) Bucher; a niece, Sarah (Tim) Stidham; and several aunts and uncles.
He was preceded in death by an infant daughter, Janice Lynn; and a nephew, Tom Bucher.
Services will begin at 6 p.m. Wednesday at South Side Christian Church, with military rites by Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 1275 following the service. The Rev. Doug Adams will officiate.
Friends may call from 3 to 8 p.m. today at Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home and one hour prior to services Wednesday at the church.

BEVERLY D.B. WILLIAMS, 61, died at 2:30 a.m. Dec. 10, 2005, at her residence.
Private services will be held Wednesday at Gilberg-Hartwig Funeral Home, New Bremen. The Rev. Doug Dafoe will officiate. Burial will be in the German Protestant cemetery, New Bremen.

Harrod
ARNOLD E. "ARNIE" BAILEY, 63, died at 3:11 a.m. Jan. 6, 2006, at Lima Memorial Health System.
He was born May 20, 1942, in Hippo, Ky., to Amos and Nana Shepherd Bailey. His father survives in McGuffey. His mother preceded him in death. On Dec. 17, 1960, he married
Linda S. Smith, who survives.
Mr. Bailey was an assembler welder at Accubuilt Inc. for 43 years, where he had been the bargaining chairman for Local 975. He attended Harrod Christian Church. He was currently the elected mayor of Harrod. He was a former Boy Scout leader and softball and baseball coach for local and area teams. He retired as a referee from the Northwest Ohio Referee Association, for which he refereed football, basketball and softball. He was a 1961 graduate of Auglaize Local High School, Harrod. When he was younger, he enjoyed sprint car racing. He loved bluegrass music and enjoyed spending time with his family.
Survivors also include a son, Troy E. (Sandy) Bailey of Ada; three daughters, Gina A. (Jon) Sunderland of Spencerville, Ronda S. (Darrel) Dear of Harrod and Brenda J. (Jeff) Birkemeier of Findlay; a brother, Jim Bailey of Lima; two sisters, Faye Gross and Della (David) Blubaugh, both of Lima; and seven grandchildren, Chasity Dear, Lance Dear, Luke Dear, Kristi Sibold, Alyssa Sunderland, Alana Birkemeier and Braden Birkemeier.
Services will begin at 11 a.m. today at Chiles & Sons-Laman Funeral Homes, Lewis Chapel. The Rev. Robert Wardle will officiate. Burial will be in Salem cemetery, Westminster.

Lima
DOROTHY BONANNO, 84, of Scottsdale, Ariz., formerly of Lima, died at 8 a.m. Jan. 7, 2006, after suffering from Alzheimer's.
She was born in Landeck to Arthur and Alfreda Wagner Yochum, who preceded her in death. On Aug. 28, 1941, she married
Nick Bonanno, who survives. They had spent more than 64 glorious years together.
Mrs. Bonanno was a homemaker and had retired as a Realtor working in real estate for more than 30 years in Lima and three years in Scottsdale, Ariz. She had also worked as a legal secretary and as an officer in the Child Conservation League. She was a volunteer at St. Rita's Medical Center during World War II. She attended St. Rose Catholic School and Mount St. Joe's College. She was raised by her mother. She was a very kind and loving person, whom we shall always remember. She was very outgoing and people will remember her smile, elegant style and the classy down-to-earth person that she was. She was an excellent cook, as her family can attest to, especially her husband. She played the violin, was artistic and loved music. She was truly a beautiful person inside and out. She was always willing to help someone in their time of need and we will remember her and cherish our memories of her forever in our hearts. We will always love her very much.
Survivors include eight children, Nick (Rita) Bonanno, Mike Bonanno, John Bonanno, Tom Bonanno, Jim Bonanno, Paul Bonanno, Frank (Penny) Bonanno and Ann (Tony) Ficara; 14 grandchildren, Lisa (Mike) Sackmaster, Nick (Heather) Bonanno III, Anthony Bonanno, Brandon (Holly) Bonanno, Amy Becker, Tom (Melanie) Bonanno II, Sarah (Vito) Anzelmi, Jim Bonanno II, Jessica Bonanno, Bryan (Heidi) Bonanno, Aaron Bonanno, Brittany Ficara, Giovanna Ficara and Antonio Ficara; and nine great-grandchildren, with three more to be born in 2006.
She was preceded in death by three children, Barbara, Ann Marie and Anthony; a sister, Edith "Chubby" Kroening; all of her in-laws, Mary DeVita, Rose Bonanno, Ernest Bonanno, Irene Infante, Lucia Mikesell, Francis Bonanno, Angelina Painter, Sister Marie Agnese, Antoinette Sealts and Cecelia "Sally" Hurm; and several other relatives and close friends.
Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 11 a.m. today at St. Benedict Catholic Church, Phoenix.

St. Marys
HARRY DAVIES, 101, died at 4:06 p.m. Jan. 8, 2006, at Otterbein Retirement Community, St. Marys.
He was born Nov. 4, 1904, in Cleveland to William and Hannah Roberts Davies, who preceded him in death. On Nov. 16, 1943, he married
Shirley Harwood, who survives in St. Marys.
Mr. Davies retired as a traffic control manager from Union Carbide Corp. He was a member of New Hope Reformed Church, Fairview Park. He was a member of the Free & Accepted Masons. He was a graduate of West Technical High School, Cleveland. He was an Army Air Corps veteran of World War II. He enjoyed bowling, gardening, reading and signing in the church choir.
Survivors also include two daughters, Cheryl (Russell) Rayle of Toledo and Marcia (Ron) Pepple of Waynesfield; and five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by three sisters, Bessie Geib and Carolyn and May Davies; and a brother, William Davies.
Services will begin at 11 a.m. Thursday at Sunset Chapel, North Olmstead. The Rev. Daniel Sewell will officiate. Burial will be in Sunset Memorial Park cemetery.
Friends may call from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at the chapel.

Lima
WALTER F. DAVIS, 94, died at 3:10 p.m. Jan. 8, 2006, at Richland Manor Nursing Home, Beaverdam.
He was born Sept. 29, 1911, in Lima to George F. and Hazel McComb Davis, who preceded him in death. On Nov. 23, 1935, he married
Mary Jane Johnston, who died Feb. 23, 1994.
Mr. Davis retired from the purchasing department at Siferd Hosselman and had managed Parks-Klay Co., for several years. He was a life member of First Baptist Church and its homemakers class. He was a 1929 graduate of Lima South High School, where he had been president of his junior class and had been involved in athletics. He attended Muskingum College. He was a kind, gentle man, well loved by everyone who knew him. He devoted his life to his family, friends and faith. He loved sports and music.
Survivors include a son, Larry A. (Rhonda M.) Davis of Findlay; a daughter, Linda J. (James D.) Smith of Sunset Beach, N.C.; three grandchildren, Angela R. Davis, Scott (Julie) Smith and Michele (Rick) Snyder; and a three great-grandchildren, Nickolas Pearson, Nora Smith and James Smith.
Services will begin at 11 a.m. Thursday at Chiles & Sons-Laman Funeral Homes, Shawnee Chapel. The Rev. Richard Cook will officiate. Burial will be in Memorial Park cemetery.
Friends may call from 2 to 5 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
