RALPH A. DeLONG Sr., 72, died at 8:46 a.m. Nov. 25, 2005, at St. Rita's Medical Center, Lima.
He was born June 11, 1933, in Dola to Roy A. and Georgia J. Carlock DeLong, and they preceded him in death. On Nov. 29, 1952, he married
Shirley M. Shimer, and she survives.
Mr. DeLong was a machine repairman at General Dynamics and retired after 14 years. He was previously employed at Clark Equipment. He was a former deacon at Lima Seventh Day Adventist Church and also served in many other capacities at the church. He also loved to spend time with his family.
Survivors include six sons, Ronald E. (Beverly) Hornaday of Martinsville, Ind.; Glen L. (Betty) DeLong of Elida; Kenneth P. Hornaday of Kenton; Ralph A. DeLong Jr. of Cridersville; Pastor Steve A. (Susan) DeLong of Rocklin, Calif.; and Kelley L. DeLong of Lima; six daughters, Judith A. (Harold) Nickles of Lima, Anita J. (Charles) Inmon of Kenton; Carol J. (Randy) Vann of Broadway, Va.; Cathy E. (Jim) Westenberger of Broadway, Va.; Janice J. Agler of Van Wert; and Tami J. (John) McCoy of Lima; a sister, Evelyn V. Avery of Denver; 29 grandchildren, 38 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Wayne B. DeLong.
Service will begin at 11 a.m. Monday at Chiles & Sons-Laman Funeral Homes, Shawnee Chapel. Pastor Steve DeLong will officiate. Burial will be in Woodlawn cemetery, Lima.
Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. today and one hour before the service Monday at the funeral home.

Lima
MARGARET ESTELLE DREWRY, 91, died Nov. 25, 2005, at Shawnee Manor Nursing Home.
She was born April 25, 1914, in Lima to John Wesley and Adeline Mines Oglesbee, who preceded her in death. On May 19, 1935, she married
Booker T. Drewry, and he died June 13, 1987.
Mrs. Drewry at one time worked at Westinghouse and Lima Hospital. She was a member of St. Paul A.M.E. Church.
Survivors include three daughters, Georgette Drewry of Lima, Joann F. Drewry of Lima and Sheila J. Drewry of Elmhurst, N.Y.; four grandchildren and six great-grandchildren; her special nieces and nephews; and special friends, Madge O'Neal and Helen Owens.
She was preceded in death by four brothers, Oscar Oglesbee, Donald Oglesbee, Cleland Oglesbee and Milton Oglesbee; and four sisters, Dorothy Oglesbee, Charlotte Talmadge, Freda Oglesbee and Garnett Oglesbee.
Service will begin at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the chapel of Jones-Clark Funeral Home. The Rev. Edward Butler will officiate. Burial will be in Woodlawn cemetery, Lima.
Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home, where the family will be present from 6 to 8 p.m.
Rockford
VINCENT P. DUGAN, 73, died at 5:25 p.m. Nov. 25, 2005, at St. Rita's Medical Center, Lima.
Service will begin at 10 a.m. Wednesday at St. Teresa Catholic Church, Rockford. The Rev. Tom Brenberger will officiate. Burial will be in Riverside cemetery, Rockford.
Friends may call from 2 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Ketcham-Ripley Funeral Home, Rockford. A rosary service will begin at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.

Lima
EARL JONES, 85, of Lima and formerly of Vermillion, died at 12:57 p.m. Nov. 26, 2005, in the home of his son, Gary Jones.

Lima
ROBERT W. KUHN Jr., 57, died at 7:14 a.m. Nov. 25, 2005, at SCCI Hospital, Lima.
He was born Aug. 22, 1948, in Tiffin to Robert W. and Dorothy M. Boes Kuhn Sr., and they both preceded him in death.
Mr. Kuhn, like his father, worked at National Machinery Co. in Tiffin as a summer job while attending Bowling Green State University. He received his Bachelor of Science in education and a Master of Science in education from Bowling Green. He taught at Elida High School and Elida Middle School for 35 years. He had taught industrial technology, computers and social studies. He was the 2005 Newspaper in Education Teacher of the Year from The Lima News. He was a member of the Elida Education Association. Mr. Kuhn was a member of the Elida Optimist Club and had served on the board of directors. He was also a member of the Elida Sertoma Club and Lima Elks Lodge 54, where he was active on the scholarship and student of the month committees. He was an active member of St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church, the Lima Sister Cities Association and the Long Lake Scuba Club. Mr. Kuhn was an Eagle Scout.
Survivors include a sister, Suzette (Ronald) Wright of Brighton, Mich., and a nephew, Kyle Wright of North Hollywood, Calif.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church. The Rev. David Ritchie will officiate. Burial will be in St. Joseph Catholic cemetery, Tiffin, at 3 p.m. Wednesday.
Friends may call from 4:30 to 8 p.m. Monday and 2 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home. An Elks Lodge of Sorrow service will be held at 7:30 p.m. Monday at the funeral home, and a wake service will be held at 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.

JAMES D. MILLER Sr., 80, of Wapakoneta and formerly of Celina, died at 9:30 p.m. Nov. 25, 2005, at the St. Marys Living Center, St. Marys.
Service will begin at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Lehman-Hogenkamp-Dzendzel Funeral Home, Celina. Pastor Rick Bell will officiate. Burial will be in Mercer Memory Gardens, with military honors provided by the Veterans of Foreign Wars and American Legion posts of Celina.
Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Monday and an hour before the service Tuesday at the funeral home.

Lima
ROBERT "BOB" WATT, 65, died Nov. 15, 2005, in Las Vegas with his wife and son by his side.
He was born May 18, 1940, in Lima, to Earl "Stoney" Watt and Doris Hirt Watt. His parents preceded him in death. His wife, Rose, survives in Las Vegas.
Mr. Watt worked for 32 years at the CSX Railroad. He was a member of St. Gerard Catholic Church. He attended St. Gerard School and graduated from Lima Central Catholic High School. He was a member of the Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks and the Fraternal Order of Eagles, both of Lima. He served from 1958 to 1960 in the Navy. He was a member of St. Francis of Assissi Catholic Church in Las Vegas.
Bob will be missed by too many friends to name, and he loved them all. He had a passion for living life to the fullest. He was always smiling and never had a bad word to say about anyone. He will be painfully missed, but we must all remember the wonderful times we had with him, how he made us proud, how he made us laugh and his strong faith that carried him through these 11 years. His wishes were that no one be sad, remember the Irish, and that each day is a gift to be lived to the fullest.
Survivors also include a son, Ryan Watt of Las Vegas; a sister, Carol Ashamalla of Santa Barbara, Calif.; an aunt, Jean Watt; nieces and nephews Nicole, David, Greg, Ronnie and LaShea; a sister, Phyllis (Bill) Swalgin; and Cherly and Darren Blakely who came to Las Vegas to help care for him.
He was preceded in death by a sister, Linda Hartoon, who resided in Lima; and Father Joe Watt, who resided in Freedom, Calif.
His body was cremated. A Mass in Las Vegas will begin at noon Jan. 7 at St. Rose of Sienna Hospital Chapel.

BARBARA JEAN BERNHOLD, 62, died at 2:30 p.m. Dec. 8, 2005, at her residence.
