New Bremen
PAUL K. WINT, 85, died at 12:42 p.m. Jan. 10, 2005, at Joint Township District Memorial Hospital, St. Marys.
He was born July 30, 1919, in New Bremen to Ferd and Georgianna Eifert Wint, who preceded him in death. On June 17, 1941, at St. Augustine Catholic Church, Minster, he married
Mary McClure, of Lima, who survives in New Bremen.
Mr. Wint retired in 1981 as operator of Wint's Restaurant, New Bremen, which he and his brother took over operations of in 1946. He had also worked at Firestone Corp., Akron. He was a member of Church of the Holy Redeemer, New Bremen. He was a member of American Legion Post 241, the New Bremen Rod and Gun Club and a local card club, all in New Bremen. He was a 1937 graduate of New Bremen High School and received his bachelor's degree in business in 1941, from Miami University, Oxford. He was an Army veteran serving during World War II. He was drafted in 1942, and was stationed in Macon, Ga., and Torrance, Calif. He enjoyed hunting and fishing. He traveled to Lake St. Clair in Canada for more than 50 years to fish with family and friends.
Survivors also include two sons, Dennis Wint of Philadelphia and David (Mary Jayne) Wint of Georgetown; three grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and a sister, Doris Evarts of Fort Wayne, Ind.
He was preceded in death by a brother, LaVerne Wint, who had lived in New Bremen.
Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at Church of the Holy Redeemer, New Bremen. The Rev. Thomas Mannebach will officiate. Burial will be in the German Protestant cemetery, New Bremen.
Friends may call from 6 to 9 p.m. today and from 9:30 a.m. until time of services Thursday at Gilberg-Hartwig Funeral Home, New Bremen.

Spencerville
HAROLD L. "BUD" BURDEN, 70, died at 12:07 p.m. Dec. 5, 2005, at Lima Memorial Health System.
He was born Sept. 27, 1935, in Lima to Carl R. and Pearl Hinkle Burden, who preceded him in death. On July 20, 1968, he married
Anita L. Medaugh, who survives.
Mr. Burden had worked at Neon Sign Corp., for 25 years. He had also worked in the small-motor division of Westinghouse Electric, for Ex-Cell-O Corp and at Meijer, all in Lima, and at Sugar Creek Farms, Spencerville. He was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church, Spencerville, where he had served on several committees. He was a member and past master of Garrett Wykoff Lodge 585 Free & Accepted Masons, member of Chapter 49 Royal Arch Masons, member and past patron of Chapter 130 Order of Eastern Star, Spencerville, and Hesperian Payne Chapter 281 OES. He was a member of American Legion Post 191, Spencerville, Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks Lodge 54, Lima, and the Northwestern Ohio Field and Stream Association. He was a longtime member of the Allen County Fair Board, where he was in charge of the Junior Fair and poultry and was a 4-H adviser. He was a central committeeman and served on the executive committee of the Allen County Republicans. He had coached Little League baseball. He was a graduate of Lima South High School. He was an Army veteran of the Vietnam War.
Survivors also include three children, Glenda (Army Sgt. 1st Class Troy)_Dell of Fort Hood, Texas, Shawn (Suzy) Burden of Shawnee Township and Dara Burden of Spencerville; two grandchildren, Brady and Morgan Burden of Lima; a stepgranddaughter, Amanda Dell of Villa Hills, Ky.; two brothers, Dale (Bernie) Burden of Waynesfield and John (Rose) Burden of Winnebago, Ill.; three sisters, Joan (John) Miller, Mary (Dr. David) Smith and Linda (Chuck) Jacomet, all of Lima; and a brother-in-law, Bruce (Kathy) Medaugh of Battle Creek, Mich.
He was preceded in death by three brothers, James, Carl and Robert Burden.
Service will begin at 11 a.m. Thursday at Trinity United Methodist Church, Spencerville. The Rev. Jan Johnson will officiate. Burial will be in Spencerville cemetery, with military rites by American Legion Post 191 and Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 6772.
Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Thomas E. Bayliff Funeral Home, Spencerville, where a Masonic service will be held at 8 p.m.

Lima
MONICA LEIGH CLARK-LOPEZ, 28, of Dallas, formerly of Lima, died Dec. 3, 2005.
She was born Aug. 15, 1977, in Lima to Michael Clark and Karen Gregg. Her father and stepmother, Phyllis Clark, survive. Her mother also survives. Her stepfather, Walter Gregg, preceded her in death.
Ms. Clark-Lopez had plans on a career in the Navy. She had a tender and loving heart, which was reflected during the illness and death of her loving stepfather a few months ago. She stood by him and demonstrated her compassionate heart and loving spirit. She was a very intelligent young lady. She left behind two children, who are truly a gift from God. She will continue to live through them. Although born in Lima, she lived most of her life in Dallas. She will be missed and thought of daily by all her loving family and friends. This is not a, "Goodbye," but an, "Until we meet again." We love you, Monica.
Survivors also include a son, Leland Joel Cantrell; a daughter, Emily Ava Lopez; her grandmother, Erma Clark; three sisters, Megan (Damon) Williamson, Alicia Gregg and Kim Bailey; two brothers, Chris Gregg and Kyle Bailey; and several aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Memorial service will begin at 10 a.m. today at Restland Wildwood Chapel, Dallas.
Van Wert
MARGARET L. WILLIMAN FLEMING died the afternoon of Dec. 5, 2005, at VanCrest Health Care Center, Van Wert.
Service will begin at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at Brickner Funeral Home, Van Wert.

PAUL D. PAPAGEORGIOU, 62, died at 8:06 a.m. Dec. 6, 2005, at Good Samaritan Hospital, Dayton.
Service will begin at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home. The Rev. Anthony Sarris will officiate. Burial will be in Memorial Park cemetery, Lima.

ROBERT J. SCHETTER, 91, died at 3:08 p.m. Dec. 5, 2005, at Joint Township District Memorial Hospital, St. Marys.

Green Springs
LENNA ODESSA STOUT WINEGARDNER, 77, died at 2:40 p.m. Dec. 4, 2005, at Flower Hospital, Sylvania.
She was born Jan. 1, 1928, in Clyde to Edward and Minnie Green Stout, who preceded her in death. Her husband of 60 years, Charles Winegardner Sr., survives.
Mrs. Winegardner retired for St. Francis Rehabilitation Center, Green Springs. She was a member of the Tiffin congregation of the Jehovah's Witnesses and thoroughly enjoyed all activities in connection with her worship. She enjoyed her plants and flowers. He warm smile, heart laugh and kind personality will be missed by her friends and family. She was a loving wife.
Survivors also include three daughters, Donna Hunt of Green Springs, Charlene Winegardner and Linda Winegardner; three sons, Charles Richard (Pamela) Winegardner Jr. of Ida, Mich., Lyman Edward (Ana) Winegardner of Lima and Ricky Gene Winegardner; and 12 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Service will begin at 3 p.m. Saturday at Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, Tiffin. Brian Ziegler will officiate.
Friends may call one hour before the service Saturday at the hall.

KATHERINE M. "KATE" WISE, 83, died at 2:25 a.m. Dec. 5, 2005, at Hilty Memorial Home, Pandora.
She was born Aug. 26, 1922, in Wierton, W.Va., to Sheldon J. and Anna Laura Robinson Virtue, who preceded her in death. On Feb. 13, 1946, she married
Clarence Franklin Wise, who died Nov. 23, 1997.
Mrs. Wise was a homemaker.
Survivors include four sons, John L. (Nancy) Wise and Clyde F. (Diane "Cupcake") Wise, both of Lima, Rodney P. (Cheri) Wise of Cairo and Keith E. (Diane) Wise of Atlanta; eight grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; a great-great-grandchild; three stepgrandchildren; and two sisters, Donna (Charles) Gilroy of Wapakoneta and Edith Kennedy of Florida.
She was preceded in death by a brother, Clyde Virtue; and a sister, Hilda Schultz.
Service will begin at noon Friday at Bayliff & Son Funeral Home, Cridersville. Pastor Rich Raky will officiate. Burial will be in Woodlawn cemetery, Lima

Paulding
WILLIAM L. WOLFLE, 66, died Dec. 5, 2005, at his residence, following an extended illness.
He was born Dec. 13, 1938, to William "Al" and M. Emogene Staley Wolfle, who preceded him in death. On May 29, 1965, he married
Peggy I. Gilroy, who survives in Paulding.
Mr. Wolfle retired in 2000 from Zeller Corp., Defiance, after 39 years. He was a member of Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 587 and Fraternal Order of Eagles Aerie 2405, both in Paulding.
Survivors also include a son, William H. (Brenda) Wolfle of Paulding; a daughter, Tiffany Wolfle (Ryan) Ralston of Columbia City, Ind.; two brothers, Timothy Wolfle of Paulding and Joseph (Rhonda) Wolfle of Grove City; two sisters, Jeanne Ann (Pudge) Myers and Marinell Sigley, both of Paulding; and six grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a daughter, Susette I. Wolfle; and a brother, David Wolfle.
Service will begin at 11 a.m. Thursday at Den Herder Funeral Home, Paulding. Burial will be in Live Oak cemetery.
